Everyone was standing around as they waited for class to start. Hawk, Aisha, and Jamie stood with two new students as Hawk and Aisha tried to come up with nicknames.

"What do you think?" Hawk says as he puts his finger on his chin, "Shit-head One and Shit-head Two?"

"I was thinking more Mary-Kate and Ass-hat." Aisha smiles as Hawk laughs

"Well, I'm-"

Hawk cuts him off, "Did I say you can speak?"

The boys quickly go silent as Miguel walks up, "Guys, look, they're just messing with you."

"Thanks, man."

"Besides, everyone knows your names are Ass-face and Douchebag." He jokes as Hawk and Aisha laugh

"Dibs on Ass-face." The boy whispers to his friend

Jamie looks up as the shop bell goes off. She frowns as an older man walks in. She looks at Miguel who looks just as confused as she does.

"Who's that?" She asks quietly

"I don't know." He shakes his head as he walks behind her to go up to the man. The group watches as he offers the man help. Johnny walks out and pulls the man to the side to talk to him.

Miguel walks back to the group looking even more confused. "Seems like Sensei knows him."

Jamie tilts her head as she keeps watching Johnny and the man interact.

"Class, we have a visitor. This is Mr. Kreese. He's just an observer. Pretend like he's not even here." Johnny says, "Mr. Diaz, warm them up."

Miguel walks to the front of the class, "Fighting positions!" He yells as the class follows

"Front kick."

"Forward strike."

"Side dab." The class copies and laughs as Jamie cringes

"What the hell was that?" Johnny says

"We're just messing around. We have 11 and a half months until the next All Valley." Miguel explains

"Yeah, besides, we already know how to kick ass." Hawk smirks

"Oh, yeah, really, huh? So you know everything. There's nothing left to learn, huh?" As he says this, Aisha laughs to herself.

"What's so funny, Ms. Robinson?" He asks as he stands in front of her

"I'm sorry, Sensei, you just wouldn't understand." She laughs

"Try me."

"It's a snake-doo." She smiles

"What's a "snake-doo"?"

The class starts hissing as they use their hands to mimic a snake. Jamie sighs as her eyes shut in embarrassment.

"Quiet!" Johnny yells causing Aisha to jump, "5:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Corner of Fulton and Raymer. You don't show, and you're off the team. Class dismissed." He then turns and walks to his office with Kreese following behind him.

Miguel looks to Jamie who shrugs as the class looks around at each other.

Jamie wanted to cry. The class was unfortunately given the task to mix cement. She was sweaty and tired and was really regretting ever letting Miguel convince her to join karate.

"Don't add too much water. You wanna make it nice and thick." Johnny yells

"Sensei, why are we mixing cement?" Miguel groans

"No questions." Johnny says as he walks around

"All right." He mutters

"Keep stirring."

Jamie huffs as Johnny goes to stand by Kreese. She looks over to Miguel.

"I'm not ever letting you convince me to do anything ever again." She says out loud as Aisha chuckles lightly

"Who?" Hawk asks

"Miguel." She groans

He looks up as he continues stirring. "What?" He says

"This is your fault." She says

"What? How?" He says. Before Jamie could respond, they hear honking. The group looks to see a cement truck pulling in.

"You've gotta be kidding me." Jamie mutters. They watch as the driver hands Johnny the keys. Miguel turns toward the group who all shrug and look around. He then looks to Jamie which he slightly regretted.

He shrugs as he struggles to find words. She just continued to stare at him. If looks could kill.

"You think winning the All Valley gives you the right to goof off?" Johnny asks, "Well, I got news for you. Winning one championship don't mean squat. A true champion never stops training. You gotta keep moving forward, or else you could get stuck exactly where you are." He says as he walks back and forth in front of the students.

"It's like the cement in this truck. If that drum doesn't start turning, the cement inside will harden and get stuck. Is that what you want to happen to you?"

"No, Sensei!"

"Good. Then climb up, get inside, and make it spin."

Jamie's eyes widen, "What?"

"Sensei, we're sorry for messing around." Aisha says

"We learned our lesson."

Johnny pulls the ladder down from the truck, "Get in!"

"Sensei, this seems kind of dangerous. I mean, the fumes alone-" Miguel tries

"Quiet!" Kreese yells. "This man led you to the mountain top, and you question him?" He says as he walks up to the group. "Look at you. Look at all of you. I can't believe this pathetic pack of pussies competed in the All Valley, and let alone won." Jamie chuckles humorlessly as the man continues.

"It's an absolute miracle. And who's responsible for that miracle?" He asks, "Johnny Lawrence. The best student in the history of Cobra Kai. My student." He says

"You were Sensei's Sensei?" Hawk asks

"You better believe it, kid. And I tell you I've never trained a tougher student in my whole life. So if you know what's good for you, you better listen to every goddamn word he says." Kreese says

The group is silent for awhile as they look around. "I'll do it, Sensei." Miguel says

Jamie looks over to him bewildered as he starts to climb into the truck. Jamie looks at Aisha who shrugs as she gestures to the truck. Jamie sighs as she follows behind her. Jamie climbs up the ladder and smacks her teeth as she sees the inside of the truck.

She was really considering just climbing down and quitting before Aisha pulls at her hand. Jamie almost slips going in and huffed as she stood up straight. Miguel and Hawk started pushing at the walls which resulted in nothing. They look to everyone else. Jamie rolls her eyes as she and Aisha start pushing at the walls.

"This is weird." Miguel says as the group stands there covered in cement. Johnny stands at the entrance as the group looks back at him.

"Don't just stand there. You wanna get stuck?" He says, "Move!"

The group does as he says while Jamie takes a second to recollect her thoughts and hold her tongue. She finally starts helping as they struggle to move the barrel.

"Come on. Let's get pushing." Miguel says

"What the hell do you think we're doing?" Jamie groans

"Let's go, guys! Move it!" They hear Johnny yell. Hawk stops as everyone else continues trying to push.

"Come on. All of you, go!" Miguel strains.

The group starts to push again as they all start grunting.

"Come on, Ashley. Don't just stand there." Hawk says. Jamie was very close to giving up. She gives one last push and the barrel starts moving.

"Come on, guys. Let's go." Miguel says.

"All right. There we go! There we go! A little bit faster." They hear Johnny yell

"Holy shit." Jamie breathes out as they keep pushing the barrel.

"There you go! There you go! Keep pushing! All together!"

They keep pushing as some students start to fall over. Hawk yells at them to get up and keep pushing. Jamie started breathing heavily as the barrel started moving a little faster.

"You got it, Jamie." Miguel says from beside her, "A little more. Keep going."

"I'm trying." She huffs as she keeps looking down to focusing on pushing

"We're doing it!" Hawk yells as the barrel moves faster.

"That's it. That's it!" They hear Johnny yell. Jamie laughs softly as they make the barrel move faster. They push for a couple more seconds before slowing down to stop the barrel. The group cheers as Jamie tries to catch her breath.

"You okay?" Miguel asks softly.

Jamie stands up straight with a smile on her face. "Never better."

They laugh as they high five.

The group stands outside as Johnny hoses them down. "You should all be proud of yourselves." He starts as he sprays a kid in his face, "I know I'm proud. Your parents would be proud, too, if you told them what we did here today," He pauses, "which we won't. You pushed forward like champions. Never stopping. Never being satisfied. Never giving up." He says as he stands in front of Jamie. He smiles at her before he keeps walking.

"And if you keep pushing and keep moving forward, you're gonna go to places you never even dreamed of." He finishes as he stands in front of Miguel. Miguel smiles and nods and Johnny nods back at him.

Miguel had offered to walk Jamie home seeing as it was getting dark outside. Jamie was exhausted and wanted nothing more than to be home and asleep.

"You know despite me complaining earlier," Jamie starts, "I'm kinda glad that I can now say I moved a cement truck."

"Yeah." He chuckles, "Pretty cool, I guess."

They go silent as they stand at a light waiting for it to tell them to walk across.

"Thanks." Jamie says. Miguel furrows his brows as he looks at her. "For convincing me to join karate."

"I thought you said you'd never let me convince you to do anything again?" He teases

"I won't," She chuckles, "but it's nice having something that I can work to get better at. So, thank you."

She looks at him as he smiles and nods. "You're welcome." He says as they hold eye contact. Jamie's smile falters as she sees Miguel glance down at her lips.

The moment is soon over though, as they hear the buzzer telling them to cross. Jamie's heart was going a 100 miles an hour as they make their way across the street.
