The All Valley went on after Miguel was sent to the back. Jamie watched Robby beat Demetri and Tory beat another opponent sending them both to the finals, but Jamie barely registered what was happening. She knew Miguel had just pulled a muscle, but she was still worried about him fighting.

She knew Johnny was probably back there encouraging him to get back on the mat, but she secretly hoped he wouldn't come back at all. She'd rather him be disqualified than to injure himself again as badly as he did in the school fight. They both couldn't go through that again.

Johnny came back as Tory's fight finished.

"Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do are neck-and-neck on the leaderboard. But there's a dark horse..." The announcer smirks, "Or should I say a dark bird? That still has a chance. Will Eagle Fang Karate stay alive in our dojo rac ? We're about to find out. Miguel Diaz has one minute to return to the mat!" He says as a clock appears on the screen

"Countdown clock?" Devon says, "Kind of dramatic, isn't it?"

"Yeah, it's the All Valley." Mitch says matter-of-factly

They all watch as the clock continues to count down with Miguel no where to be found. Jamie's heart raced as she looked toward the door to the hallway.

"He's really taking it down to the wire, huh?" Devon says

"Ten, nine, eight, seven," The crowd starts to chant, "six, five, four, three, two, one!" The buzzer goes off as the clock hits zero. Miguel didn't come out.

"Well, it looks like Miguel Diaz is not gonna fight." The announcer says as Johnny runs back toward the room, "Which means that the winner by default is Eli Moskowitz, who advances to the final where he will face Robby Keene. The finals are up next."

Jamie stared ahead as she filled up her water bottle. She was kind of relieved that Miguel hadn't come out to fight, but now, no one knew where he was.

She sighs as she looks down to her bottle. She looks over as she hears footsteps coming toward her.

"Miguel." She says before putting her top on her bottle, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah. I'm fine. It just felt like I wasn't fighting for me anymore."

"Yeah, I get that. I wouldn't wanna compete either. I'm kind of feeling that pressure with my mom here." She chuckles lightly

"Yeah, except that Johnny isn't my dad." Miguel says smiling lightly before it drops. Jamie furrows her brows, "Anyways, uh, I just wanted to wish you good luck. And let you know..."

"All finalists, please report to the center mat."

Jamie sighs, "What were you saying?"

"Uh, nothing, I'll- I'll tell you later." He nods

"You sure?"

"Yeah." He says softly

"Okay. I'll see you out there rooting for me, right? Even though Sienna is doing it enough for everyone." She smiles

Miguel chuckles, "I'm always rooting for you, Jamie."

She nods before she grabs his cheek and kisses him. He kisses back lightly which seemed off to Jamie, but she just put it off as him being hurt from earlier. She pulls away and kisses him on the cheek before she walks off.

She turns back quickly, "Miguel?"

"Yeah?" He says lightly

"I love you."

He smiles lightly, "I love you, too."

Jamie smiles back before leaving. Miguel sighs heavily as he watches her walk away.

The finals were starting. Cobra Kai only needed to win one fight to win the entire tournament and shut down both dojos. If Hawk and Jamie won, they would become champions and Cobra Kai would have to shut its dojo down.

The boys fought first. Both of them scoring points on each other. Robby and Hawk knew both Cobra Kai and Miyagi-Do fighting styles. They had everyone on the edge of their seats as the fight went on with scores of 1-1. Next point won.

Unexpectedly, a buzzer goes off causing everyone, including Robby and Hawk, to stop and look around. The ref has the two fighters go back to their side as the announcer comes back up.

"Unbelievabl ! These two amazing competitors have reached their three-minute time limit in a one-one tie! Which means their championship match will be decided, for the first time since 1985, by sudden-death overtime! Let's go!"

The crowd cheers as the two boys look around.

"Go to your senseis." The ref says

"Competitors, to the mat."

Hawk and Robby start to make their way to center stage. Robby fumbling with this gi until he ultimately decides to just take it off. Hawk looking around confused before taking his off as well throwing it to Demetri.

Jamie looks at Sienna in the crowd. She laughs as she sees her wide eyed. Sienna looks to Jamie raising her brows with a grin.

"Next point wins. Good luck, gentlemen. Ready? And... fight!"

Robby starts off kicking at Hawk who backs away. He then jumps to kick him again, but Hawk blocks. Robby uses Hawk's knee to flip before landing. Hawk runs at him, but Robby catches him and slams him on his back.

Robby goes for a punch, but gets distracted. Hawk uses this opportunity to kick Robby's shoulder. They both rush to jump back up.

The fight continues with both blocking hits and exchanging different blows. It was then that Robby lands a sharp elbow to the side of Hawk's thigh.

"Oh!" The crowd gasps

"No point! Continue."

"Come on, Eli." Sienna mutters as she takes a deep breath

"Come on. Come on!" Robby yells as Hawk backs away. Hawk spins and kicks at him causing Robby to back away. He tries again, but Robby catches his leg sending them both back. Hawk hurries and hits his stomach with his foot earning the last point.

"Point! Winner!"

"Yes!" Sienna yells as the crowd cheers

"Yeah!" Jamie yells as Miyagi-Do goes to congratulate Hawk.

"Your boys' champion, Eli Moskowitz!"

"Yeah!" Hawk cheers as he's handed the trophy

"And with that, Miyagi-Do vaults into the overall lead! It all comes down to the girls' final, coming up next."
