Rui Kamishiro was stunned.

Not actually stunned, but you get what he means. Seeing Tsukasa's pure face of emptiness and sadness stare into his soul was a shock on its own, but it was even more of a shock when it sprung back into his happy proud star face in a matter of seconds.

" Guys!! Welcome to the Tenma home! I didn't expect you would be over tonight! " Tsukasa said, shooting up and smiling at everybody.

" Brother where did you go?! Are you alr- " 

" Of course, I'm alright Saki! I just went on a walk around the forest to clear my head that's all, sorry for the trouble if you are all here for that! " Tsukasa said as he cut Saki off, which is very out of character and did not go unnoticed.

" Since it's so late at night and this home is on the far side of town, would you all like to stay the night? We have the space in the estate and mother and father don't come home tonight! " He proposed to the group of tired searchers like he was trying to steer away the topic as far as possible from the disappearance. 

" Oh Tsukasa-Senpai we could never intrude- " An started, walking further inside the house now.

" Seriously! I think it would be a nice thing to do for guests! Don't you think so Saki? Like a huge sleepover of friends! " Tsukasa now turned to Saki for her approval, seeming to beg a yes from her silently.

" I'll stay over, either way, I've been wanting a group sleepover anyway and I'd like to make sure your safe Tsukasa. Nene, Emu? You already told your families you would be out late, why not just tell them you stayed at your boyfriend's because of the time! " Rui suddenly spoke up, walking to Tsukasa and facing the others in the room.

" I mean everyone does live a good walk from here and it is almost one am, and I did bug everyone to come out and look...alright! A huge sleepover! " Saki agreed.

" Cool! Dad will be happy to see me out with friends and it's not a school night! I'll go text him. Kohane! Text your parents to ask as well! " An rushed out, pulling her phone out and going to text her dad.

" Alright An! " Kohane pulled out her phone as well, more nervous than An to text her parents though to ask.

" We figured you would ask us to stay like always so we already told our parents we were staying over beforehand Saki.  " Shiho said, nodding at the other girls.

" That's great! How about you guys, Toya, Akito, emu, and Nene?! " Saki asked.

"I and Akito will stay, thank you. "

 " Me 'n Akito!? What..are you..talking about Toya...?! " 

" You know I'm not about to let you walk back home now. We are staying here to sleep and that's final. " 

" But- " 

" No buts Akito. Let's go to the couch and get you sat down " Toya finished the conversation,  taking Akito's hand and leading him to sit down.

" Big sleepover to make Tsukasa happy! I and Nene are in! "

" Then it's settled, there are guest rooms if you wanna sleep already, or you can stay up on the couch! I have to quickly step out to call Minori to make sure she's resting by now and not practicing, she tends to lose track of time! Saki can you get them all nightclothes? " Tsukasa said energetically, heading up to his room to make the call.

" Of course, ill get the guest clothes! Hona, Ichi, Shi! I have some new plushies to show you follow me! " She quickly ran up the stairs, dragging the girls along with her.

Rui was delighted to be sleeping over the Tenmas, he loved having sleepovers with his partners, but Tsukasa was obviously ignoring his feelings and putting more work on himself here. Quickly, he leaned over to Nene and Emu, whispering to them.

" Meet at the Sekai. we all need to discuss something about Tsukasa. Just follow my lead " Nene and Emu looked at each other and nodded.

" I'm gonna go get us some snacks in the kitchen. Come with me Nene so I don't get lost in this massive house like always, please~" Rui said to Nene, grabbing her hand and standing up.

Nene nodded, nudging Emu in the side to say " Come on and make some excuse quickly! " 

" Oh! I uh, Can I come too?! I wanna see the good snacks this place has! " Emu said as if she hasn't seen it already millions of times.

"Ok then guys!Get some Doritos for us! " Kohane called out to the three as they shuffled out of the room quickly.

" Blue or Red? Or both? " Emu poked her head back into the room for clarification.

" Both of course! "An yelled back like it was the most obvious thing in the world.

" Come on Emu! " Nene pulled her back in, whisper yelling at her.

As soon as the three reached the kitchen, their phones were out, checking if anyone was around for safety.

" Okay, we obviously can't be long. We need to tell the others about Tsukasa before things get worse and ask for advice. No getting distracted this time, Rui and Emu. " Nene said, staring at them as they nodded back in agreement.

The bright glow of the teleportation to the Sekai clouded their vision before they arrived there.

 The usual theme park music flooded Rui's ears as he blinked up at the sky. All three had arrived a little while ago, but there was no sign of the others as they walked around the theme park like normal.

" I'm starting to think something is wrong guys! Normally we find Miku in a few seconds of looking! " Emu said, speeding up the pace of her walk to find someone. 

Suddenly the music stopped, and everything was dead silent. The off-putting feeling of this part of the Sekai was making Rui's stomach sink. Like that feeling you get when you find out something or someone you watch is canceled and you're like "No this can't be! ", you know? Rui didn't like one bit of that feeling.

" Guys, something is wrong here, no Vocaloids and the music stopped, something bad is bound to ha- " Nene started but was interrupted by a cry from a circus tent-shaped building, but that area up ahead had duller colors and the tent had the least amount. None of them wanted to go over there but alas, sometimes you just have to do what you don't want to.

All three ran up to the tent, stepping inside hopping to find Miku's laughter and Kaitos's smiles in a show. But what they found was much different.

First off, everything was grey in this tent. It was exactly like the one they always saw the shows playing in by the plushies, but it couldn't be that tent! It was much too sad and not a single plushie was to be seen. 

Staring ahead at the stage, the group finally found what they were looking for. In the corner of the stage, curled up enough to seem small like with her hands on her face sobbing, was Miku. She was all grey, and her tears could be seen from over at the entrance spilling out of her eyes quickly.

Next to her was Kaito, still with color but looking sad as well. He was rubbing her back comfortingly crouched down and trying to talk to her to calm her.

" Miku!" Emu called out, running towards the stage to get to her. Miku looked up and paused her crying for a minute seeing Emu before she started sobbing again into her hands. Emu hugged her and started to rock back and forth, Rui thought it was a way to comfort herself and Miku.

Kaito stood up, looking relieved as he walked over to Rui and Nene. " Thank Sekai you all are here. There has been a massive mood change in Tsukasa recently and it's sending everything into chaos. Miku acts on how he majorly feels, and since this change, she has been just a mess. Not to mention the Actual Sekai is losing its color and theme as the minutes go by. " Kaito started, looking tired and lost.

"That's what we came to talk about, he's been off lately and we came for advice, but we didn't expect it to be this bad. " Nene replied, putting her hands over her heart.

" Anything that could have changed his mood lately? " Kaito asked. " Well, he stared at us with an empty, sad look earlier before snapping out of it and going back to his usual self. That just starts it. He also ran in the middle of a show today looking petrified on the stage! " Rui said back, trying to think of more examples.

"It started then... I hoped this wouldn't happen, we've been doing everything we could to avoid this way of coping. " Kaito said to all of them, Miku and Emu now just walking up to the three, Miku having stopped crying for now.

" What way of coping?! For what as well!? " Emu said, looking possibly even more panicked than before.

" Well, we can't give time for you all to find it out on your own anymore...Tsukasa grew up in a neglectful household. From his memories, it doesn't seem to be on purpose but it sure did happen. He learned to be alone in his house at the age of five and care for others more than himself, primarily his sister, who was literally in the hospital her whole life and he had to be in constant fear and worry that she was going to be okay. That starts it... " Kaito started, taking a breath before continuing. 

" Starts it?! " Nene said, flabbergasted.

" From the loneliness and the Trauma, he started to make many things imaginary and believe fantasy was a reality as a way to cope, that couldn't last long as a coping mechanism though because he had to be in the real world to help his family. Saki claimed she loved stars, so he defaulted to becoming a star to please her. His mother and father always warned him about his grades, pleasing people over himself, and perfectionism, which eventually turns unhealthy after lots of repetitiveness and got so bad his mind repressed his middle school and bellow memories besides basic stuff as a way to protect him from the trauma. " Miku continued, tears welling up as she spoke.

" Tsukasa only did things and helped others and not himself, always finding a way to make sure others are alright and liked him more than himself. That is called people pleasing, and it's a very bad thing for your mental health. It got so bad that he doesn't have a personality and likes he believes in, he just goes off what others want to hear and like. All opinions are based on other people's and not his own, primarily his parents after listening to them for so long. " Kaito followed up.

" Recently, he has been slowly realizing this and getting extremely burnt out from it all, being gifted people placing, perfectionism. Realizing his actual self doesn't exist and just being empty, tired of living. He doesn't think the actual him is there or has any likes, so he's getting sad about it. That show triggered very important repressed memories earlier and it was the last straw to his actions toward himself. That blank look was the actual Tsukasa Tenma you saw. No facade, no perfectionism, just Tsukasa. This Sekai was made to try to prevent the crash of emptiness and triggers and help him slowly remember, but we ran out of time. " Miku finished explaining.

Everyone just stood there, trying to process this information. They didn't know Tsukasa? The person they loved with all their hearts, the person they worked countless shows with the person they- 

" Wait. If he has no likes, does that mean he only agreed to be with all of us to make us happy for the facade... " Rui said, looking up suddenly from the floor. Nene and Emu looked scared at the mention as well, thinking they maybe purely pressured someone into liking them.

"That's the thing! The " Real" Tsukasa Tenma claims to be empty but he isn't! He agreed to love you all not for the facade because he truly felt something. Same thing with helping Saki stay happy! Preforming also still has somewhere in his heart he just can't feel, and you need to unlock it. Get Tsukasa to find out what he enjoys. " Kaito rushed out.

" Yes! Get him to stop pretending and be him, say what he feels do what he wants to do! Maybe even have an honest talk with his parents about anything! "

" Quickly too. I fear we don't have that much time before the actual him... disappears... along with the Sekai and his true feelings. "

" On it! We are at a sleepover with him now, all night we need to try to get him to open up and relax! Get the others on board to inform his sister! " Rui said, already getting out his phone to head back and start.

" Yes do that! Hurry, please! We believed in you guys. " Kaito said, a worried smile on his face. Miku was smiling sadly as more tears came out, but silently this time.

" We can't let everyone down! " Emu said, before clicking the song playlist and heading back to the real world.

Back in the kitchen, where everything started, they all stood, still processing everything that just happened.

" Well let's head back, we need to start as soon as possible helping him and the others! Get ready for an emotion-filled night. " Emu said, grabbing the blue and red Doritos. Nene grabbed goldfish from above Emu and Rui took some soda cans from the fridge and saltines crackers. The more sugar the better to help this fiasco.

And so they headed back to the living room, Kohane and An taking the chip bowl and watching Disney movies Looking over, Akito had fallen asleep again, but on Toya's lap, this time and Toya was rubbing his hand through his hand as if to calm him down in his sleep. It seemed peaceful from anyone else's view.

One thing for sure, this was not going to be your average light-hearted peaceful sleepover, oh no.

This was going to be a trauma ride.
