ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

It was the end of the day, meaning that it was time for hero training. Everyone sat in their seats quietly, waiting as Aizawa gave instructions.

"Today's training will be a little different, you'll have three instructors. Me, All Might, and another faculty member will be keeping tabs on you."

The class seemed surprised by the idea of three teachers observing them, Sero raising his hand to ask a question, "Sir, what kind of training is this?" Aizawa pulled out a white card with the words rescue written on them. "Rescue. You'll be dealing with natural disasters, shipwrecks, stuff like that." the teacher said.

Rescue training? This seemed interesting, but once again, very early for this type of training.

The class lit up at the idea of rescue training, all of them chatting amongst themselves. Kaminari leaned forward and shook my chair, in which I turned around to face him. "Saiki, you excited? With your quirk, this should be crazy easy for you!" he asked me with wide grin.

I simply nodded, causing his smile to falter. ".. You don't look excited." Believe me. I'm very excited.

"this special training is at an off-campus facility, so we'll be taking a bus to get there. That's all, start getting ready." Aizawa said as he began to leave, all the students standing up to retrieve their hero uniforms.

I stood up quietly, waiting behind everyone else before grabbing suitcase number 6. With my suitcase in hand, I walked out towards the locker room. Time for rescue training, I guess.

ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

I stood outside the school with the rest of my class, looking around with my usual stoic expression. Thanks to Kusuke, he was able to remake the glasses to my hero costume in an instant. Unfortunately, Midoriya didn't have the same privilege, considering his original costume was handmade. He was wearing his P.E. uniform with his support items to accessorize.

I felt a tap on my shoulder, in which I turned around to see Hagakure in a new uniform. "Saiki! Turns out they already had blueprints for an invisible costume and were able to make mine in a snap!" she exclaimed, giving me a little twirl.

She wore an iridescent body suit on along with some goggles, gloves, and utility belt. She showed me a button on her collar and when she pressed it, she completely disappeared. Even though she was invisible, I could tell that she was smiling, "Isn't it so cool?!"

I gave her a nod and thumbs up, making her light up, like, literally. She produced a ring of light around her with happiness, slightly surprising me. So her quirk wasn't invisibility, she could bend and manipulate light with her mind. "Saiki... You're such a sweetheart!~" she thought.

How did a simple nod make you feel like that? You really are delusional...

Suddenly, a loud whistle blared around the front yard, in which Iida was standing in front of bus. "Gather around, Class 1-A! Using your students numbers, form two neat lines so we can board the bus efficiently!" he yelled out.

Sorry to burst your bubble, Iida, but the bus has open space seating, not the seating your talking about. I can already see it with my x ray vision.

Everyone began to form the lines as he said, only to be surprised by said layout, sitting wherever. Iida grumbled with annoyance, his arms crossed, "This open layout ruined my boarding strategy.."

I sat between Midoriya and Kaminari, closing my eyes and relaxing as everyone else talked. Asui, or Tsu as she prefers, spoke up, "if we're pointing out the obvious, there's something I'd like to say. About you, actually." she turned to Midoriya, making him jump. "About me?! What is it, Asui?" he stuttered out, only for her to correct him, "I told you to call me Tsu."

"That power of yours, isn't it a lot like All Might's?" she asked, immediately making Midoriya's face flush with fear. I opened my eyes a bit, glancing over at the two. She was definitely correct, his quirk was a lot like All Might's because it was All Might's.

"WHAT?! R-REALLY?! Is it, huh? I never really thought about that..." He stammered. Midoriya, you are the worst liar I've ever seen.

Kirishima happily spoke up, turning to Tsu with a smile "Wait, hold on, Tsu. You're forgetting that All Might doesn't hurt himself. That makes a huge difference!" Thanks for the save, Kirishima.

"It's cool to have a simple augmenting type quirk, you can do a lot of flashy stuff with it. My hardening is super strong to destroy bad guys in a fight, but it doesn't look all that impressive." Kirishima admitted, using his quirk to harden his arm. I let out a small 'hm' to show that I was impressed. It was definitely an impressive quirk to have, and it's nice to be able to turn yourself into a human shield to protect yourself or others.

"Aw, no way! I think it's really awesome looking! You're definitely pro material with a quirk like that!" Midoriya exclaimed with excitement, Kirishima replying with a small chuckle, "You really think so? Seems like it'd be easier to be a popular hero if I had something flashier."

Honestly, I don't care about popular as a hero, as long as I can save people. That's why I plan to be an underground hero like Mr. Aizawa.

"My navel laser's got the perfect combination of panache and strength~" "but it's way lame if it gives you a stomach ache, sweetie." Aoyama and Ashido chatted, the pink girl putting her hand on the boys shoulder.

Kirishima spoke up again, his gaze shifting to the other side of the bus.  "Well, if any of our classmates have pro quirks, It's Todoroki and Bakugou." he said, causing Tsu to jump in, "Sure, but Bakugou's always angry, so he'll never be that popular."

I couldn't help but smirk at her comment, glancing over at the frog-like girl. "What did you say?! I'll kick your ass!" Bakugou yelled out, standing up over his seat. A smug smile graced Kaminari's face, in which he decided to jump in, "You know, we basically just met you, so it's kinda telling that we all know your personality is flaming crap mixed with garbage."

I had to physical turn away as I chuckled. I gotta admit, as Aiura would say, he ate you up with that one, Bakugou. Kaminari looked over at me with surprise at my laugh, grinning widely. "I made Saiki laugh..? So he's not all stoic after all!"

"Hey, about quirks, Saiki's is pretty basic." Tsu suddenly said. Thanks, that's exactly what I was going for. She continued on, "Even if he has a simple and non-flashy quirk, he makes the most of it, like in battle training against Todoroki."

Everyone nearby nodded, a small grumble being heard from Bakugou. "He's also really quick and flexible, it's amazing how he avoided all those spikes Todoroki sent in an instant! But, he's not very strong.." Kirishima added, his tone turning into a curious one during his last sentence.

Ashido looked at me curiously as well, her finger up to her lip to show a face of confusion, "Yeah, I expected all the boys to be more muscular... but I guess you don't need strength if your enemies can't even touch you!" She chuckled happily, causing everyone to burst into agreement.

Crap... Now they think much too highly of me... I should tone it down a bit. As much as I need to abandon the 'average' role as a hero student, I hate all this attention!

"I like Saiki more skinny, I feel like he'd look weird too muscular." Hagakure added, her legs swinging back and forth in her seat. Just by peering into her thoughts, I saw an image of me with a body WAYY too big for my head. I almost jumped at the image of it. It looked absolutely terrifying.

Mina leaned towards the invisible girl, smirking happily, "I feel like he just needs to find that perfect ratio, you know? Like, lean with all those abs, but still pretty skinny so it's not overwhelming." Hagakure immediately agreed with the pink girl, her goggles moving up and down to show that she was nodding.

The two went back and forth about how attractive I was, my face full of slight disgust and irritation. Was I that attractive?

A annoying voice spoke up, one that I immediately recognized as Mineta, "Saiki! What are you making that face for?! You're a total babe magnet!" That's the thing. I didn't want to be a 'babe magnet'.

Everyone began to go back and forth about my looks until Mr. Aizawa interrupted us. "Hey, hey! We're here. Stop messing around." he yelled, in which everyone replied with 'Yes sir!'

ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

"Hello everyone! I've been waiting for you!" The Space Hero, Thirteen, said with excitement. Some students began to gawk over her, while I just stood in the middle in silence. We all began to walk inside, all the students feasting their eyes on the large and impressive building. Even I was a bit surprised by how impressive it was.

"A shipwreck, a landslide, a fire, a windstorm, et cetera! I created this training facility to prepare you to deal with different types of disasters. I call it the 'Unforseen Simulation Joint', but you can call it USJ!" She informed us, her voice filled with enthusiasm.

"Just like Universal Studios Japan." all my classmates thought in unison. I couldn't lie that I thought that too. This place looked like a big amusement park.

Aizawa went off to talk to Thirteen, in which I heard them talking about All Might using up all of his power. It was a weird conversation, but I got the idea as I read their thoughts, seeing the image of All Might but much skinnier.

So, our symbol of peace was quickly deteriorating... That is definitely not good.

Thirteen happily turned to the class, "Excellent! Before we begin, let me just say one thing! Well... maybe two things.. possibly three? Four.. or five..?" "WE GET IT!" the class thought in unison once more.

"Listen carefully, I'm sure you're aware I have a powerful quirk. It's called 'Black Hole'. I can use it to suck up anything and turn it into dust." She began, Midoriya soon interrupting. "Yeah, you've used 'Black Hole' to save people from all kinds of disasters before, haven't you?"

She quickly answered and continued, "That's true, but my quirk can also very easily be used to kill. Some of you also have powers that can be dangerous. In our superhuman society, all quirks are certified and stringently regulated, so we often overlook how unsafe they can actually be. Please don't forget that if you lose focus or make the wrong move, your powers can be deadly, even if you're trying to do something virtuous like rescue someone."

"Thanks to Aizawa's fitness test, you have a solid idea of your quirks potential, and because of All Might's combat training, you likely experienced how dangerous your powers can be when used against other people. Carry those lessons over to this class. Today, you're going to learn how to use your quirks to save people's lives. You won't be using your quirks to attack enemies or each other, only to help. After all, that's what being a hero is all about, ensuring the safety of others! That's all I have to say, thank you so much for listening!" she finished with a bow, the class erupting into cheers of excitement.

My mind was stuck on how she said that her quirk could easily be used to kill. I let out a soft sigh and looked away. I related to that all too well...

"Right, now that that's over.." Aizawa began to say, only for the power to suddenly shut off. The fountain in the center began to flicker. My body jolted and my protective instincts kicked in, quickly standing in front Midoriya and Kaminari and glaring down at the eerie purple portal in the distance. "Saiki..! Calm down, it's probably just some intro they created for the training exercise to get us in the spirit! See, you're already protecting!" Kaminari said with a nervous grin, a bead of sweat dropping from his forehead. Midoriya, on the other hand, looked scared, glancing down at the portal that was currently producing villains. "Uhm... Kaminari.. I don't think this is training anymore.."

The yellow haired boy glanced down at the portal, his demeanor instantly flipping. "Holy crap.. Those are real villains!" his eyes widened and he stepped back with both shock and fear.

I blocked the two away from the villains with my arms, stepping back a bit. Many people in the class were surprised at my act, since it was quite different from my nonchalant attitude. Kirishima stepped forward to get a better look, only for me to use my telekinesis to pull him back.

"Hey, Pinky! Don't think that because you're so strong you're gonna be protecting anyone! You're not any pro! If anyone is gonna protect, its gonna be me! I'll protect the hell out of this stupid class!" Bakugou suddenly yelled, rushing up to me with anger and annoyance.

"Is Pinky trying to one up me..? I'll destroy him!" His thoughts blared. Why does everything I do mean I'm trying to be better or one up you to you?

I glared at the boy, making him jump a bit. "Hey, don't glare at me you pink bastard, I'll beat you to a pulp!" He grabbed my collar and pulled me right to his face, his minty breath hitting my nose.

I put my hands out, gesturing for him to calm down, but that didn't seem to help at all. He continued to yell and scream at me until Aizawa got tired of it, "Stop it before you get a detention, Bakugou!"

The blonde made a tiny gasp before letting me go, a groan emerging from his throat. "Stupid Pinky... I bet you're so full of yourself. You're so strong, so handsome and everyone likes you, huh? Well I'm gonna fucking humble you. I'm the best, okay?!" the blonde thought.

What the hell? I am not full of myself. The only thing you're fighting is the little fantasy me you've created in your mind.

"Thirteen! Protect the kids! I'll hold them off!" Aizawa yelled out, in which the space hero immediately complied. Our teacher jumped down the stairs, gripping his scarf in both hands. I smirked as he began to defeat all the villains effortlessly. They obviously were no match for Aizawa.

We all ran towards the door, only to be stopped by a large purple mist. The mist began to ramble on how they were expecting All Might and wanted to kill him, and not gonna lie, that made a shiver run up my spine. All Might is already deteriorating, and now they wanna kill him? Imagine how easy it might be now since he's becoming Small Might.

Suddenly Bakugou and Kirishima jumped in, both going for an attack. Their hits didn't connect, but I swear I heard a tiny metal 'ding' sound. That means there is definitely some physical, metal body underneath all that fog. I wouldn't know, since my X-ray vision doesn't work on gases and fog. If they find his physical body, I could be able to hold him down with my telekinesis..

"I'll scatter you across this facility to meet my comrades... and your deaths!" the villain exclaimed. The fog began to surround us all, screams and yells being heard until finally fading away. Suddenly, I felt something yank me in, and before I knew it, I fell on a hard, dusty floor.

I took a look around me to see that I was I was now in the mountain zone. I glanced around to see Yaoyorozu, Jirou, and Kaminari, but that was it. That purple mist must've teleported us around the USJ to weaken us...

"SAIKI!! Thank God you're here too!" Kaminari exclaimed, rushing over to me. We didn't even have enough time to calm our nerves before a villain came our way, swinging towards Kaminari and I. I easily dodged it, grabbing the blonde's hand and pulling him out the way.

They split us up into smaller numbers, but it's obvious that they don't know our quirks. If they did, they would've sent Kaminari into the shipwreck zone. Surely with all the water, he could've been able to electrocute the villains, but he would put his classmates at risk as well.

Kaminari yelled as he ran away, the two of us grouping us with Yaoyorozu and Jirou. "AHHHH!! My life just flashed before my eyes! I think I just saw the grim reaper!! WHAT'S GOING ON?!" You're overreacting.

"Could you maybe take it down a few notches? Right now, we need to focus on getting away from these enemies." Jirou scolded, defensively holding up a sword that Yaoyorozu created. Kaminari quickly replied, glancing over at the two girls, "Then pull out a weapon for Saiki and I too!"

"You're the one with electrical powers, just zap 'em so we can run! Plus, Saiki has telekinesis, he doesn't need a weapon." "WERE YOU NOT PAYING ATTENTION DURING COMBAT TRAINING?! Some partner you were..."

Kaminari then began to explain his quirk, conjuring up some sparks of electricity in his hand, "I can cover my body with electricity, but if I try to shoot it out, it'll go everywhere! I'd take you guys out along with them, or did you want shock treatment today?" He gave Yaoyorozu, Jirou, and I a thumbs up, a bead of sweat rolling down his face. "I'm counting on you three, I'm no help in this situation. You've gotta get us out of here, please!"

I simply watched the two bicker, and before Kaminari knew it, Jirou kicked him into one of the villains. He activated his quirk on the impact, shocking only that villain due to the contact. "Woah! Hey, this is working! I'm super strong!! Sit back, you guys, you can count on me!" The blonde said with a smile.

The villains then began to rush towards us. While Jirou used her quirk and Yaoyorozu used hand to hand combat, I used my quirk to easily float the villains to Kaminari, immobilizing them. "Saiki, come over here!" Yaoyorozu yelled. I quickly jogged over, standing next to the two girls.

"It takes me a little longer... to create an object this big..!" She muttered, her back glowing pink before a large sheet popped out. The three of us were covered by the blanket, the villains looking at us with confusion. "A blanket? Is that supposed to be a shield?" an enemy mockingly said.

The black haired girl smirked, slightly lifting the blanket. "You're looking at a sheet of insulation 100 millimeters thick! Go Kaminari," she intelligently replied. Kaminari charged up his electricity before releasing it all throughout the mountain zone, yelling "Now I won't have to worry about hurting my friends! You guys are fried!!"

It took a few seconds, but when he was done, all the villains were immobilized. I peeked out the blanket, smiling softly. I was definitely proud of Kaminari, he showed his worth today. I gave him a thumbs up, but my eyes widened when I saw him babbling like an idiot. I had to cover my mouth, a small chuckle escaping my lips.

Just as quick as I laughed, I composed myself, turning to Yaoyorozu. "DON'T YOU DARE LOOK, SAIKI!" Jirou yelled, covering the other woman's chest with her hands.

Believe me, Jirou. I'm not interested.

"Make Saiki some rope so he can tie up the villains." I telepathically sent into Yaoyorozu mind, her face perking. Her arm began to sparkle pink as she pulled a long line of rope from it. "Hey Saiki, can you go and tie up the villains, for extra measures. It'll be easier for you since you have telekinesis."

I nodded, taking the rope and stepping out and rounding up all the enemies. Once they were in a pile, I tightly wrapped them all up, glancing over at Kaminari. I broke into another smile as I saw him aimlessly walking around with that dumb expression on his face.

Kaminari, I know you're not actually an idiot, but.... you are such an idiot right now, it's hilarious.

ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

We all began to carefully escape from the mountain zone, Kaminari in my arms as I walked towards main plaza. I could already tell by reading the thoughts of everyone that something hectic was happening. I looked around and saw Midoriya and some sort of, half human half animal whatever thingie about to attack him.

My eyes widened, reacting on instinct. I used my telekinesis and sent the thingie flying across the plaza, everyone shocked. Midoriya's eyes widened as well, quickly finding my surprised gaze. "Saiki! Thank you!" he yelled, relief washing over his features. I simply nodded, rushing over to him. Before I reached Midoriya, a huge boom was heard throughout the whole USJ, the front doors wide open. "Have no fear, students... I am here!" a familiar voice said, the large figure emerging from the dust. It was All Might, but his signature smile was now a frown..

All the students began to cheer with relief, Mineta sobbing happy tears at the sight of the hero. As happy as others were, I had a nervous look in my eyes. I heard Aizawa and Thirteen earlier saying that he already ran out of time, and now he's forcing himself back into his strong self? It doesn't seem so safe...

"Holy crap... It's All Might!" "I've never seen the guy in person before.." "I didn't expect him to be so huge!" "If we strike now we can kill-" The villains discussed, but before they could even finish, the hero was already down the stairs, knocking them out in seconds. In the same interval, he grabbed Aizawa, holding our teachers unconscious body in his arms.

Before I, an all powerful psychic, could react, he sped over and snatched all us up to, setting us down a save distance away. I only saw All Might in person during the sludge villain attack, but I never knew he was this fast as well! Is speed also a part of this 'One for All' quirk Midoriya inherited?

"Everybody run to the exit, and take Aizawa with you, he doesn't have much time." He told us all. I immediately obliged, usually my telekinesis to float Aizawa while Kaminari was laid on my back.

I walked with Midoriya, Mineta, and Tsu, my eyes locked on All Might and the mysterious enemy. As much as I can easily beat whatever that was, I couldn't, not without drawing all this attention. I may be an all powerful psychic, but I feel stress just like everyone else does, and right now, I feel REALLY stressed out.

The blue haired villain began to blab about how powerful his creation, which he called a 'nomu', was, making my eyes droop with annoyance. We get it, bozo.

I watched as All Might tried to slam the nomu into the ground, dust erupting from the impact. The ground vibrated from the blow, showing just how powerful the hero was. It wasn't a pretty sight when the dust blew away, though.

The nomu was sucked into a warp gate, warping its upper body underneath All Might. Its fingers dug into the hero's sides, blood spilling out as it crushed his weak spot. My eyes widened with complete shock, watching the blood pour out.

I couldn't stand this sight, my body moving without thinking once again. I used my telekinesis and threw the nomu across the plaza and into a wall. There was a huge nomu shaped hole in the wall, the villain slowly crawling back inside. A liiiiiiittle too much psychic strength...

"S-Saiki...? Was that you..?" Midoriya muttered, looking at me with shock as a bead of sweat rolled down his head.

Nope. That was all All Might....

Now that the hero was free, he continued to efficiently fight the villain. I felt someone tug my sleev, looking over to see that it was Tsu. "Saiki, come on. We need to get Aizawa to some medical attention." she told me, successfully snapping me out of my stressed daze. I quickly carried the teacher upstairs, Tsu and Mineta trailing behind.

I looked back, watching Midoriya stay in the plaza. What the hell are you doing?! I rolled my eyes, continuing my journey.

"Hey, what happened to Kaminari?" Mineta asked, looking at the blonde boy on my back. He was still dazed, not a single thought behind his yellow eyes. I simply gestured for him to brush it off, reaching the top of the stairs.

We met up with about half the class when we reached the top of the stairs, all of them looking at Aizawa with shock. "Damn, Saiki! What the hell happened to Aizawa?!" Sero asked.

I laid Aizawa on the ground next to Thirteen, my stomach turning with disgust at both of their states. Should I revert him and Thirteen...? No... Not now, at least. I reached into my utility belt and pulled out some gauze, carefully wrapping it around their wounds.

Thank you for protecting us, Aizawa and Thirteen.

A few minutes later, the door of the USJ burst open, Iida being accompanied by multiple heroes. "Your Class Rep has returned! I've fulfilled my duty, and I brought reinforcements!" he yelled. Good job, Iida!

One by one, the heroes joined in on the battle, defeating all the the low levels that were scattered across the plaza. I kept close to the two injured heroes, watching the others work with relief.

ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

When all was wrapped up, we stood outside with the heroes, watching all the villains get detained. Unfortunately the warp and hand guys got away, but at least these petty villains won't start anymore trouble. "Everyone seems to be unharmed, except for that boy who's legs are all messed up." the detective in front of us said, in which I glared with annoyance.

Midoriya..

"Whey..." I heard a familiar voice say. I looked over and locked eyes with Kaminari. He still looked... Ridiculous. Ridiculously hilarious. How long is this stupid drawback gonna last?

"What about Mr. Aizawa?" Tsu asked the detective, everyone showing concern. "The bones in his arms are splintered and he's got facial fracturing. Fortunately, there doesn't seem to be any serious brain damage." he explained, making me cringe. Thankfully he was going to heal, but knowing that he went through this much trouble just to protect us, that shows that he's a real hero.

Now that I was caught up in a villain attack, my respect for heroes definitely skyrocketed.

ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

"KUUU!! I HEARD IT ON THE NEWS!! YOUR TRAINING FACILITY GOT ATTACKED!! ARE YOU OKAY BABY?!" My mother yelled when I walked through the door, both her and my father rushing over to me.

I quickly put my hands up to calm them, "I'm fine." I said, but that wasn't very convincing. They both began to check my body for any injuries, their eyes full of concern.

"Mom, Dad, I have titanium bones and bulletproof skin. I'm fine, I swear."

They began to calm down a bit, backing off. It didn't last long though, the two of them immediately going back to checking me for injuries.

"Come on Kusuo! A simple scratch can get infected and turn into something much worse!" "Let mama kiss your boo-boo, Ku!!!"

... Thanks.
