It was finally the end of the day again, time to continue working on Mars. I walked to the back of the classroom and grabbed my cello case, carrying it up to my desk. "Hey, Saiki? You said that was a cello, right? How long have you been playing?" Kaminari asked me, packing up his bag. I put up 5 fingers as I packed my own bag, looking up at him. His eyes widened, "Wow, 5 years? You must be really good at it!"

Well, I have been playing for 5 years on and off, but with my psychic powers, I'm basically a virtuoso. Maybe I should play more, it is a really cool instrument. I also do like playing different kinds of classical music..

"Saiki, you think a lot."

And you don't think enough. No hard feelings.

Kaminari laughed before continuing, "Its just that whenever you're around people, you're always glancing around and you have that little thinking face. Like you're trying to think of something to say. I can't wait till I can finally hear what's going on in that big ol' head of yours!"

You're saying that like I'm interesting. I don't think I'm that interesting..

"See, there's the thinking face!" he exclaimed, making me jump slightly. He had a happy and bright smile on his face, his pearly white teeth making an appearance.

Stop being so happy-go-lucky all the time, it's starting to rub off on me. I sighed, slipping my cello case on my back and holding my bag in my hand.

"Why the heck are you all here?!" Uraraka suddenly yelled, causing everyone's heads to turn. There was a whole crowd of kids just watching us like we were some exhibit. I raised my eyebrow, a confused look on my face. I slipped of my ring, and glanced at the crowd.

"So these were the kids in the villain attack!" "I wonder what it was like to fight villains head on!" "The pink haired boy is so hot!!" "Some of them look really strong.." "I wonder what their quirks are!"

Of course it's because of the USJ atta- wait, I'm what?

Iida raised his hand to the students, in which he was just as curious. "Do you students have some sort of business with our class?" the boy asked politely. Surely, they're curious, but it's no reason to crowd our whole room. We have places to go.

"They're scouting out the competition, idiots." Bakugou stated, walking to the door with an unbothered expression. "We're the class that survived a real villain attack. They want to see us with their own eyes. At least now, you know what a future pro looks like, now move it extras," Bakugou declared, staring down the crowd.

His gaze soon turned to me, looking into my violet eyes. "Hey Pinky, use your little quirk to push these guys out of the way. I need to practice," he demanded me, making me sigh.

No, I am not. Ask nicely, asshole.

A voice emerged from the crowd, a purple haired boy pushing toward the front, "So this is Class 1-A? I heard you guys were impressive, but you just sound like an ass. Is everyone in the hero course delusional or just you? I was sad to come here and find a bunch of egomaniacs.."

It's definitely just him.

"I wanted to be in the hero course, but like many others here, I was forced to choose a different track. Such as life.." He glanced over at me as I walked closer to the door. "Hey.. I know you two. The first and second placers in the entrance exam. Everyone was talking about you two the first few days of school. If this guy is this egotistical, since you guys are friends, you should be just as much of an egoist. Who knows, maybe even more, Mr. first place," he continued, staring right into my eyes.

WHO THE HELL SAID I'M FRIENDS WITH THIS GUY?!

Bakugou chimed in, "Who the hell said I'm friends with this guy?" That's what I'm saying!

I kept my blank expression, but the way my eyebrow twitched clearly showed my annoyance. His speech wasn't over yet, unfortunately, "Anyways, I didn't cut it the first time around, but I have another chance. If any of us do well in the sports festival, the teachers can decide to transfer us into the hero course, and they'll have to transfer people out to make room. Scouting the competition? Maybe some of my peers are, but I'm here to let you know that if you don't bring your very best, I'll steal your spot right from under you. Consider this a declaration of war."

My eyes widened at his words. Some people could get kicked out? That just give me more reason to pretend to look like I wanna win... ugh... I should've went to Shiketsu...

"I'M FROM CLASS 1-B NEXT DOOR TO YOU! WE HEARD THAT YOU FOUGHT SOME VILLAINS AND I CAME TO SEE IF THAT WAS TRUE, BUT YOU'RE A BUNCH OF BRATS THAT THINK YOU'RE BETTER THAN US! TALK ALL YOU WANT AND IT'LL BE MORE EMBARRASSING WHEN YOU'RE K.O'D!" A grey haired student suddenly yelled from the crowd. Shit! Everyone hates our class now, especially Bakugou and I!

This is all your fault, Bakugou!

The blonde boy leisurely began to walk out the door, Kirishima stopping him. "Dude, where are you going? You gotta say something! Is your fault they're all hating on us, Bakugou!" the red head yelled at him, in which Bakugou simply replied, "These people don't matter. The only thing that's important is that I beat them."

I'm gonna kill you, Bakugou.

Suddenly he grabbed my arm, pulling me with him. "Come on, Pinky, you need to fix your bowing in rehearsals six and seven. We don't need you fucking up the sound." he casually told me, his grip tight. "Pinky, huh? Is that your boyfriend or something, Blondie?" the purple haired boy provoked, smirking at us.

STOP ASSOCIATING ME WITH THIS GUY!

I sighed, tearing my arm from his grip and walking away. That just pissed me the hell off. My reputation among the students outside of class 1-A dropped almost instantly due to Bakugou's pride and stupidity! I don't wanna be seen as a stupid egoist!

Checking the likability of all my fellow first years, I'm sitting at a 20. My looks are really the only things going for me right now. Am I really that handsome?

Fortunately, I've come up a solution!

"You needed me, Saiki?" Kaminari asked as he stood at the front door. I welcomed him in, watching as he took off his shoes and left them on the rack. "What did you need me for? All you did was send me your address and said 'come now', so I'm confused."

I gestured for him to follow me into the kitchen, in which the counters were decorated with cooking supplies and ingredients. The only way to fix my likability is to seem humble and kind to the rest of the students and I'm going the traditional route by baking a bunch of apology cookies.

"We're baking? OH MY GOD, DID YOU PLAN US A BESTIES HANGOUT?!" He exclaimed, his eyes welling up with happy tears. No I did not, and we're not besties.

I gestured and explained it to him, in which he hummed with realization. "You're baking a bunch of cookies to make people like you? I get it, Bakugou screwed up the whole class's reputation. Let me pass them out tomorrow too, I wanna get in on this." he responded, in which I simply nodded.

We got all the bowls ready, and we began to get started. "We need two eggs per batch, so... 12 eggs total." Kaminari read off the recipe, opening up the carton and helping me crack all the eggs. "Saiki, couldn't you have just used your telekinesis to do this all much quicker without needing me? Are you sure we aren't besties?" He had a stupid, shit eating grin on his face, making me roll my eyes.

We're not besties, okay..

I stepped away, confusing him. "Saiki's going to the bathroom." I telepathically sent into his mind, making his confusion fade away.

I sighed, my ring slipped on my finger as I was filled with a sense of peace and quiet...

"Huh..?! Who are you young man?" a feminine voice said, causing Kaminari to turn back. His yellow eyes locking onto the woman's dark purple ones. A smile graced his face, setting down the whisk. "Hi there! Saiki never said anything about a sister!" he said happily, walking over to the woman.

She immediately blushed softly, her hands clasped together as she said, "Oh, I'm his mother, not his sister. People do say I look very young for my age, though... but hey, I'm getting to full of myself! I'm Saiki Kurumi, what's your name?"

Kaminari chuckled, bowing to her. "I'm Kaminari Denki, Saiki's friend," he told her, causing her to gasp. Her eyes began to water, a shaky smile gracing her lips.

"AWW! MY SON FINALLY HAS A FRIEND!! YOU DON'T KNOW HOW REASSURING THAT IS!!" She exclaimed, walking over and giving Kaminari a big hug. He was immediately confused, but let out annother chuckle.

"Am I his first friend or something?" he asked, his eyebrow raised as he looked down at Kurumi. She wiped her tears gently, stepping back a bit. "Well, I don't know... You're the first friend of his I've seen in years... He hasn't brought anyone over since Kindergarten..."

This piqued the hero student's interest even more, scratching the back of his head nervously. "Hey, not to pry or anything, but what happened in Kindergarten..? I never knew he was so introverted for that long."

"Well... I don't know what happened in Kindergarten." Kurumi began, fiddling with her fingers, "He used to be so happy, mischievous, and rowdy. His father and I use to never get any sleep because he would wake us up in the crack of dawn by jumping on our bed.. All I remember is that one day, he started to get distant."

Kaminari's eyes widened, nodded as he continue to listen with full attention. Kurumi went on, "He just came home from school one day and didn't even say hi, just walking to his room. Then a few days later, he ran inside bawling with tears... he screamed at me 'Mama, am I a villain?'... I don't know what made him think that and I couldn't get any info from the teachers at his school..."

That made the blonde's jaw drop, stunned by the revelation. "Villain...?" he muttered, his hand on mouth to cover some of his shock.

"Well, I'm sorry to interrupt your little hangout with my son... I'll go, I have to do the laundry." She explained, giving him a bow before walking off.

The blonde was left standing there with a sad expression, lost in thought.

"Saiki... What happened to you..."

ᨏᨐᨓᨓᨐᨏ

"Hey! Want a cookie? It's from Class 1-A!" Kaminari exclaimed, the two of us passing out the cookies we made yesterday. Yesterday, we made blueberry lemon cookies and they were so good, we kinda didn't wanna give them away, but we needed to fix our rep.

The two girls in front of me swooned, their faces completely red as they trembled. "O-of course we'll take a cookie..!!" one of them stammered, both of them grabbing one and stuffing it in their mouth. Their eyes soon lit up at the flavor, looking at Kaminari and I with amazement! "These boys are cute... and they can bake?!" they thought.

Oh no...

"U-uhm... would you guys wanna go out sometime..? You're both kinda cute.." The other girl said, looking away shyly. While Kaminari's eyes lit up, I sighed with slight annoyance. The electric boy cleared his throat before smirking at the girls, "Oh, of course, Saiki and I ca- ... Saiki?" he went on, glancing around to see that I was gone.

Sorry, I'm just trying to pass out cookies, not get a girlfriend.

I wandered the halls again and soon ran into Iida, Midoriya, and Uraraka, the three of them looking at my cookie tray with confusion. "Saiki, what are you passing out cookies for? Is this some sort of fundraiser?" Iida asked me, his hands gesturing his curiosity. I shook my head 'no', pulling out a small sign from underneath my tray and holding it up. "Class 1-A apology cookies! Sorry if our classmate pissed you off :(" the sign read.

Kaminari made the signs.

"Oh, it's cause of what Kacchan did.." Midoriya shyly chuckled, scratching the back of his head with embarrassment. Uraraka smiled brightly, leaning in towards me. "Hey, do you have any more batches, cause I know I'd love to help pass them out!" she happily cheered, Midoriya and Iida agreeing with her.

I nodded at the three, leading them back to the classroom where my bag was. I brought an extra bag to carry the cookies, unzipping it and pulling out three other cookie trays. They each grabbed a tray, happily going outside to distribute them. I had one tray left in my bag. My tray was still mostly full, so I couldn't just pass this one out now.

"Hey, you passing out cookies? Let me help!" I heard a voice say. I looked up to lock eyes with Kirishima, his shark smile beaming brightly. Why is everyone in this class so cheery..?

"I'm willing to help out, especially since Bakugou screwed things up for the class yesterday." he continued, taking the last tray into his hands. I quickly gave him a bow of appreciation, a chuckle emerging from his vocal cords. "No need to thank me, I should thank you, you did all this as an apology for the whole class. Now, lets pass out these cookies!"

He walked out the door with me, smiling and talking about whatever. Everyone in this class is so kind... well, mostly everyone.

... I'm glad.

All of us parted ways and distributed the cookies, giving everyone an apology as well. "Saiki! Why did you leave me?! We could've been on a double date with some hotties!" Kaminari voice yelled, jogging up to me until he reached me, his eyes locked onto mine.

I don't want a double date, I want everyone to stop hating me.

I turned away with a sigh, expressing my indifference. He groaned, shaking my shoulder as he said, "Come on, let loose! Girls love mysterious guys!" He had a pout on his lips, leaning closer to me.

Come on, don't act like a child.

"Saiki, please?! They were total babes!! I can't have them both to myself!" he whined, continuing to annoy me as we walked down the halls.

You're lucky I was raised right, or I would've thrown you out a window.
