I am going to be okay 

Because I know God is with me

I imagine His loving arms around me

A cocoon of protection

Reminding myself I am love

That's my saving grace right now

The Only thing holding me together

A truth that is locked in my heart

So that I won't ever forget it

A promise that is sweet as honey

From my one true God and father

When I open my eyes in the morn

Beauty adorns everything I see

Flowers wear their best pearls

While the melodic wind whispers by

Nature does as it was created to do

So then why do I question and doubt?

If God cares about the flowers and trees

Then how much more does He love me?

Instead of looking at the ground waiting to fall

I look to the sky cause I'm heaven bound

Prepare for the worst but expect the best

I said I can do this, I promise you I can

"Stand up child." I hear

And I reply, "I will be okay."
