Wow this chappie is kinda a blast from the past. It's also fairly long and took me several nights to write. Its obviously not written very well as always and I apologize for typos. But I hope u guys enjoy this one a lot cx

"All I'm saying is that you can't just jump over the counter and attack the ticket man." I explained to Lara, half serious but also half in laughter.

"I can if he won't give me my jelly bracelets." Her arms crossed over her chest promptly. "Besides, that was like, so many hours ago, why are you still lecturing me?"

"You're the one who is still complaining about it!" I exclaimed back to her.

"Pft," she looked around at Niall and Liam, who were watching us intently, "Can't you just be dumb like us Americans?" she scoffed before walking away dramatically.

"That girl is going places, I'll tell you that much." I shook my head lightly, sitting between Liam and Niall. "Hi my two very best original friends that I love so much and never get to be with anymore." I sighed happily, placing my hands on each of their thighs.

"Hi." Niall sighed heavily, leaning his head on my shoulder. I leaned mine on top of his softly. Then I switched and laid my head on Liam's shoulder.

"Hello." He copied both mine and Niall's sighs. "How are you guys?"

"I'm tired." Niall let out a loud yawn. "I'd love to sit with you two for awhile longer but this leprechaun needs his sleep." He groaned as he stretched his legs before standing up.

"So nice to see you?" I coughed out a laugh, feeling sort of empty because I was starting to miss Niall. That and he had referred to himself as leprechaun, which was completely lame of him.

"Oh Dani." I watched as he looked me up and down with his sleepy eyes, "Give me a hug?"

I was quick to hop up and grab Niall as tightly as I could. It was a mistake though, because as I buried my head in his chest, I began to cry. I didn't expect to cry either.

"Oh no," Liam pouted.

"Alright, here we go." Niall chuckled lowly, turning to sit back on the couch with me in his lap. "What's wrong munchkin?" he needed to work on these nicknames he was using right now.

"I didn't mean to start crying." I dried my eyes shamefully, jumping off of him and in between the two of them again.

"But you did and that worries me." His hand touched my shoulder softly, making me cringe away.

"Why does that worry you?" I scowled, "All you care about anymore is Marina."

"And all you care about anymore is Harry so I guess we're both arses, right?" He spat back at me. I hated to admit it but he had a point. It was just weird not being the center of attention anymore. Even when Mack was around we both had equal and full attention of the two.

"Woah woah, Niall you care about more than just Mima. Dani, you care about more than just Harry." Liam interrupted us.

"Do you always have to be the peacemaker?" I shook my head in innocent laughter.

"Only when baby starts crying and blondie starts cursing." Liam gushed, teasing us both.

"I didn't even swear!" Niall shouted in offense. I rolled my eyes and smiled widely at him. Arse still technically counted as swearing in this scenario. We both knew what he meant anyways.

I quieted down and stared down at my fingers, fiddling them back and forth and picking at the almost vanished nail polish. It stayed silent for a long time, so I began to hum a tune.

"Okay we get it," Liam scoffed, "You want to have one of those gushy rants but you think we don't want to hear it." He looked my dead in the eyes and I nodded once. "We'll listen." he gestured for me to go on.

"Well," I started by climbing over Liam so I could look back at both of them at the same time. "I guess I just really miss this." I pointed to them. "I never really think about or notice that we're not super close like we used to be, but when everyone's out and about and it's just us three I start to feel all nostalgic and I just want to.. I don't know, never leave your guys side, I guess."

"I do quite miss just us I guess." Liam frowned.

"I hate to admit it but I kind of miss Mack too. We were like the 4 musketeers man!" Niall exclaimed.

"There were three of them." Liam gave him a funny look.

"Well I said like." He pouted back, "Now we are the three musketeers. And no girl would ever replace you in my heart Dani."

"It's true." Liam chuckled, "I think I might have to take you along on my honeymoon." he sounded like he was joking but he might have been serious. You could never tell.

"Can you say hella foursomes?" I winked at him, pushing him the tiniest bit. Niall bursted into the same loud laugh he always does and I smiled proudly.

"Your husbands not allowed to be bigger than Liam, he might have a fit." Niall added on.

"I won't have a fit! I just might be embarrassed if my wife was with your husband rather me." He sounded slightly embarrassed.

"But then you'd have me." I sarcastically pointed to myself as if I were some magnificent prize.

"Then I'd be jealous!" Niall's eyes squinted in laughter again. Watching him erupt into such a cheerful mood was never a bad sight. It was the most delightful thing I could ever watch, honestly.

"Aw! I! Love! You! Guys!" I covered my face with both of my hands and practically chanted at them gleefully. I uncovered my face and stared at them for a second. "Wait, were you guys implying that Harry wasn't going to be my husband?" I asked curiously.

"I don't know." Niall shrugged, "Do you think Mima is going to be my wife?"

"Honestly?" I asked him. He nodded seriously. "Probably not."

"Wow, you guys are such hopeful romantics, I can tell you really support each other's relationships." Liam seemed weirded out and actually offended at what we said.

"It's not that I don't want it to happen or that I don't think they're good for each other, because I really do. But how many people marry their high school sweetheart?"

"Exactly!" Niall was very excited by my answer, "I love my baby girl to death, and at this point I could say that I'd be very content if she was my wife right now. But I'm not ready to get married and who's to say my feelings for her, or even Mima herself will still be around when I'm ready?"

"Yes!" I got as excited as Niall, "You're the only one who understands me! I swear on my grave I would be happy if I got the chance to marry Harry freaking Styles, but at this stage in my life and our relationship, he's just a boyfriend who I care so much about. I don't know why everyone assumes you're going to marry the first person you like," I slowed down a bit as I spoke, "the first person you fall in love with?"

"In love with?" Liam's tone was deep and serious.

"Well," I pulled at my fingers and looked at the couch, "I don't know, haven't I said that before?" I shied away from him.

"That's exactly how I feel Dani, don't hide from your feelings." Niall encouraged me. It was so different seeing the boyfriend side of Niall. Sure he was my boyfriend for awhile there but we weren't extremely serious or anything.

"I love you forever Niall." I blew him a kiss, reminding him how much he meant to me. Yes, I was definitely having one of my girly, "I love my best friends" kind of moments.

"And I love you." He stood up off the couch and walked over to me, leaning over to give me a nice big hug before he went off to sleep. The excitement probably tired him out even more. "Night bro." He high fived Liam and pulled him into a quick bro hug.

"Night." Liam gave him one of those manly slaps to the bum as he slumped away. I never understood it. "So uh, I mean, I know you love Harry. But you don't think in love is a bit too much?"

"Haven't I already said in love about him before?" I frowned at Liam.

"I don't know, I don't really recall." He looked away and scratched at his neck awkwardly. I sucked in a sharp breath at him. He stared at me questioningly but harshly for a good minute or so.

Instead of keeping angry eye contact with him, I laid down next to him and stared back up with an admirable look. He gave in quickly and smiled at my innocent big eyes and awkward smile.

"Wait right here." He demanded of me, quickly getting up to race to his room. I sat on the couch all lonely, making a pouty face until he came back. He was dressed in all black, including a beanie.

"Why did you bring a beanie out to California?" I was amused.

"It's called fashion." He mocked me.

"I'm sorry. All black and dressing too hot for the summer is the new fashion?" I challenged him, "are you a ninja?"

"I'm a super mega secret awesome spy." He nodded promptly, looking very proud of himself. "And we're going to go get your necklace back."

I realized what he had in mind. And even though it involved breaking into Annabelle and Kassidy's house, I was 100% in it with him. "Do I get to dress like a super secret awesome spy?" I sighed sadly.

"A super mega secret awesome spy!" he corrected me quickly, "And no. No you do not."

"Why not?" I complained loudly, wailing my arms around like a child.

"You're not as good as me." he spoke in a sly tone, chuckling lowly afterwards. I smiled funnily and shook my head in disapproval. "It's true!" he claimed again.

I rolled my eyes at him, because he was obviously lying. I was better than him (possibly). "Let's go find this necklace." I laughed and urged him to leave. He led us out the back door.

"We'll sneak in through the back so they won't know." Liam murmured, looking around from side to side swiftly. Some of our friends were sleeping, some were swimming, and some were out with our neighbors. Liam and I, well we were up to no good like the true rebel children we were.

Liam lifted me up to the small roof that stuck out on the second level. The window above it was Annabelle's room, so we figured why not just go right for it. I helped pull him up once I was safely standing on top. He pulled open the window and we hopped inside.

He snuck around, lifting up random items and opening drawers. "Holy-" he gazed excitedly before hushing himself.

"What?" I slinked over to see what he had found. Turned out he had opened up her undergarments drawer and was messing with a very overdone bra.

I couldn't help but almost gawk with him, feeling jealous that I didn't own something so glamorous. Then again, there would be absolutely no reason for me to wear it. After awhile I rushed him to stop being a creep and put it away.

The necklace was nowhere to be found. Liam and I gave up and decided to sit down on the bed for a second. "Maybe she didn't take it?" he spoke quietly.

My eyes glazed over as I stared at him, expressionless. "Wait a minute." I quickly jumped off the bed. "I can't believe this little tramp." I shook my head angrily. I could see it hanging as clear as day on the light switch. Of course I wouldn't check there because we didn't want to give away that we were here.

I stormed to it, snatched up my necklace and held it tightly in my hands. But you should always leave it to me to have the worst luck in the world. Feet and laughter fleeted up the stairs and Liam and I made a mad dash for it. But I recognized the laughter immediately. Liam was outside the window, whispering angrily for me to come too.

I refused, standing put. He bit at his lip nervously and came jumping in again, right as Annabelle entered with Harry. My heart had completely stopped as I stared at him joke around, holding a red party cup and take sips into his laughter. "Oh my," Annabelle whispered, barely audible, as she touched the light switch.

What's the matter sweetie, can't find my necklace?

"OH MY GOD!" she screeched extra loudly as she saw me standing there, Liam face planted into the floor from just jumping back inside.

"Dannica?!" Harry shouted after her. "Liam?" His voice became grouchier.

"Why are you coming into her bedroom with her?" I forced out.

"Why are you in her bedroom?!" he shot back at me. "And why is Liam looking like he's about to go rob a bank?"

"You don't know my hobbies." Liam hmphed, making it into a joke. It wasnt an appropriate time to joke..

"And your hobbies include breaking into my room?!" Annabelle squealed with a stomp of her foot.

I awkwardly eyed Liam and he shrugged. He was a bit too calm about the situation for my tastes. "Why are you in here?" I asked Harry sternly.

"She said she had to give me something." He shrugged, "Why are you in here?" his voice stayed steady.

"To get this." I held up my necklace high and proud. Harry and Annabelle looked at each other once before bursting into laughter.

"Okay, how did you know?" Harry chuckled.

"What?"

"I found your necklace!" Annabelle cheered excitedly.

"You stole it." I spat. She looked taken back and I stood tall, still feeling proud.

"Oh, I see." She cooed, "Look I know you and I are still strangers and I would probably freak out and blame myself too if I had lost something so special the day after going somewhere new." She explained with a kind smile.

"Wait you're not mad she broke into your room?" Harry grunted. "You guys can't just break and enter, that's called trespassing." He frowned angrily at us.

"No of course not. I understand how she felt. I'm just glad she got it." She smiled, "You must have taken it off in the bathroom the other night because it was by the sink!" She explained sweetly, "And about your boyfriend, I had brought him up here to give it to him to take back to you. I would never try anything." She seemed so serious as she spoke.

"I'm not a child or an idiot Harry." Liam pouted, still stuck on the way Harry spoke to us.

"Oh. Well I'm really sorry about the mistrust. You're really..." I began to feel bad, "You're really sweet. Thank you so much." I awkwardly thanked her, feeling very flushed.

"I think sneaking yourself and my girlfriend into here was pretty childish. By the looks of it, it was probably your selfish idea." Harry snarled.

"At least I'm here with your girlfriend, keeping her company as you waste your nights away from her. I'm the one there for her, as always and as she prefers." Liam pushed past me to get up in Harry's face.

"Oh I'm sorry mate, as she prefers? I'm pretty sure she still sleeps next to me every night, and not your pathetic little ass." Harry's drink was set down on the desk, and Annabelle rushed to my side as she watched.

"Harry stop." I sighed.

"Oh please, tell me the last time you actually made the girl happy." Liam was angry, "She sleeps next to you because you're her claimed boyfriend but do you even have ahold on her heart?" things took a quick turn into a personal level that Liam shouldn't get involved in.

"Liam!"

"Guys, please quit." Annabelle's eyebrows crinkled together in fear and sadness. I bit on my lower lip before going ahead and getting between them before they started to get pushy.

"I thought we buried the whole 'I can buy my girlfriend turtle food on her own' and 'But if she calls me I'll tend to her' hatchet like months ago!" I reminded them.

"Has he bought you turtle food?" Liam growled.

"Like directly corresponding to that whole dilemma or just as an expression?" I went blank for a second, wondering if we were about to talk about tampons or not.

"In general." Liam's face stayed harsh. I looked between the two of them sadly.

"Just stay out of mine and Harry's business."

"Just stay out of her business, period." Harry stabbed at his chest with his finger, angering Liam even more. Liam went to punch Harry, but I jumped in front of him, grabbing his arm. He nailed me good in the forearm, hard enough to leave a bruise.

"Dani!" he yelled at me for jumping in front of his punch. I knew he didn't mean to hurt me, and it was my decision to do it.

"You just punched her." Harry stated.

"It wasn't intentional." Liam attempted to redeem himself.

"I don't give a fuck." He pushed him, "you just punched her and that's not okay with me." Harry went to defend me, jumping straight to a violent way. I didn't like that about him lately.

I knew to distract their minds, I had to do something. So I ran out the window and hopped off the roof, into the sand. "God damnit!" Liam shouted and I knew they were coming after me.

The sand slowed me down, but I kept pushing to get away from them. Annabelle watched from the window as Harry chased Liam who chased me. Just as I thought I had gotten away, I was grabbed by the waist and pulled into a tackle in the water to stop us from going any further.

"No! My necklace!" I cried out, knowing it had came out of my grip into the water.

"I'm going to murder you, Liam Payne!" Harry shouted fiercely, running past us into the water toward where the chain was slowly sinking into the ocean. I ended up bawling once again as Liam held me tightly in his arms and Harry retrieved my necklace, once again.
