Chanhee flung open his closet door as he raked through his numerous outfits. He'd like to say he was quite the stylist. Chanhee took out several outfits and laid them down the bed. Tapping his chin with his slender fingers, he pursed his lips as he fell deep in thought.

Why was he trying so hard for the date with Chan?

Chanhee did think the guy was cute. The way Chan treated him was a refreshing change from how the guys from The Boyz treated him. Except for Jacob and, sometimes, Hyunjun, the rest don't particularly exhibit sweet and caring behaviors. He didn't expect much since that's their lifestyle. Chanhee didn't really want them to care like that either. He knew they were a family even if they didn't actually speak like one.

But he wanted that one guy to show him more affection than others. But Hyunjae just had to be the coldest. In addition, Hyunjae always seemed to be playing around with him. Chanhee sighed.

"Maybe I do need some attention. Like an affection-starved whore." He spoke to himself.

He picked up a simple blue sweater and jeans. He smiled at the thought of his lunch with Chan. He glanced at the clock and started getting ready.

While Chanhee was in the shower, a person peeked into the room. He looked left and right then walked in with his head held up high. He sat down the edge of Chanhee's bed, legs crossed. He waited patiently for Chanhee to finish showering.

Chanhee came out of the shower with his bath robe on and drying his hair with the towel. He paused, frowning in confusion as to why Kevin was in his room. Kevin smiled and wriggled his fingers as a greeting.

"I see someone has a date to go." Kevin said cheekily.

"Yeah. And I already informed Jacob hyung. What are you doing here?" Chanhee said as he walked to his dresser.

"Nothing. Just wanted to talk with my dear friend."

Chanhee turned to him with a bored look. He threw away his now wet towel into the corner of the room. Crossing his arms, he stared at Kevin with an interrogative gaze.

"What do you want, Kevin?" He asked with an amused smirk.

"Please let me tag along."

"You want to be a third wheel willingly? Kevin, have you gone bonkers with being a third-wheel your whole life?"

"I have my own life, thank you very much. And, I have my own reasons as to why I want to tag along." Kevin replied indignantly.

Chanhee giggled when Kevin started sulking. He didn't mean to but Kevin did have a penchant for being the third wheel. He was there when Sunwoo and Haknyeon started hooking up with each other. And also when they broke up. Right in front of Kevin's salad.

"And what are they?" Chanhee asked, sitting down at his dresser.

He spun around and starting applying on his skincare. Kevin watched from the mirror but not really making eye contact with Chanhee. The thing is, he found something about Chan but he wasn't sure. He didn't want to ruin Chanhee's date either.

Kevin had snooped around Chan's information which was illegal but then he's already in a gang. That also meant he could get hold of extra information. Even though Kevin wasn't as skilled in techs as Hyunjun, he was still capable. He stumbled upon some fishy stuff about Chan.

Such as, the time of his absences were always for long periods, never short. Another thing, Chan's home address was invalid. It was a fake address. Kevin didn't like the sound of that.

"Look, I'll just sit somewhere else." Kevin said.

"Are you that bored to follow me? Just go out with Juyeon or Changmin." Chanhee huffed, after finishing up his makeup.

Kevin pouted at him. Chanhee slapped his arm to get him off his bed. Kevin shot up and walked to the side of the dresser, leaning against it. Chanhee started undoing his bathrobe before he craned his head back.

"Aren't you getting out?"

"Why?"

".......Do you wanna see me naked?"

"Oh, right. I don't mind, really." Kevin grinned.

He cackled obnoxiously when Chanhee flung a pillow at him. He caught it and proceeded to creep out the door. As he was about to close the door behind him, he caught sight of someone else at the corner of his eyes.

"Hyunjae?"

Hyunjae narrowed his eyes at him. Kevin grinned sheepishly and added, "Hyung."

"What are you doing here, carrying that pillow as if you're stealing it?" Hyunaje asked.

"Nothing. Chanhee's just getting ready for his date and I asked if I could tag along." Kevin said.

"Why would you tag along on his date?" Hyunaje scrunched up his face.

"Cause I found something on Chan and I'm not quite sure." Kevin frowned, forgetting he was talking to Hyunjae, "You know, I found out his address was fake and his work patterns are kind of weird. And also-" Kevin got cut off as Hyunjae pushed past him and entered the room.

"Wait, he's changing!" Kevin shouted but he was too late.

The door closed in his face and he was left standing in the corridor with a pillow in his arms. Kevin blinked, trying to process what just happened. Hyunjae was- Chanhee was- They were or were they? Did he do something wrong now?

"Kev? You okay?"

Kevin jumped in his skin, clutching onto the pillow even harder. He glared at Younghoon who grinned at the reaction. He jerked his head to the door.

"What's going on in there?" Younghoon asked.

"I'd like to know that myself." Kevin replied.

Well, something was definitely happening inside the room. After Hyunjae slammed the door shut in Kevin's face, he stomped up to a changing Chanhee.

Chanhee looked at Hyunjae in surprise. He opened his mouth to speak but was interrupted by Hyunjae yanking his shirt off of him. Chanhee just had his jeans on now. He looked at the white shirt thrown onto the floor and glared back at Hyunjae.

"Just what are you doing?" Chanhee gritted.

"And what do you think you're doing? I thought I told you to stay home and not make any movements for the time being." Hyunjae spoke in a cold tone. His eyes flickered towards Chanhee's bare chest for a moment.

"I already informed Jacob hyung. He said it's fine for me to go." Chanhee replied calmly.

He pushed Hyunjae away and picked up his shirt. He shook it once to get the dust out. Hyunjae was feeling hot and he didn't like it at all. He turned to Chanhee who was buttoning up his shirt. Chanhee turned around and walked past Hyunjae to his bed. He picked up his blue sleeveless sweater.

"Do you know, hyung?" Chanhee spoke, not facing Hyunjae, "There's no reason I shouldn't be allowed to go out. It's not your place to give me permission either."

Hyunjae didn't reply. Chanhee turned around after putting on his sweater. He looked absolutely sweet and ethereal. He got the boyfriend look down to a zero. Hyunjae flickered his eyes elsewhere when Chanhee stared at him.

"What makes you think Chan is safe?" Hyunjae said.

Chanhee scoffed. He sat down at his dresser as he put his ear rings. Hyunjae looked at him through the mirror. Chanhee had a cold look as he continued putting on his accessories.

"Just because you're not, doesn't mean every man on Earth isn't." Chanhee said, standing up.

He got his small sling bag and sprayed on some perfume as a final touch. Hyunjae slid over to block Chanhee's way as he was about to go out. Chanhee rolled his eyes when Hyunjae grabbed his shoulders.

"Don't go. You don't know who this man is yet."

"It's kind of funny, you know. The more you try to stop me, the more I want to do it." Chanhee said.

"Chanhee."

"Stop it. I'm tired of you and I really need a break." Chanhee sighed.

He pushed off Hyunjae's hands and shoved his shoulder as he went past. Hyunjae was left in the room alone. He clenched his teeth angrily, balling his hands into fists. He stomped out of the room and to Kevin's shared work room with Juyeon.

Kevin flinched when Hyunjae came in. Younghoon was there as well, now clutching onto the pillow. Juyeon turned around in his seat lazily at the commotion. Hyunjae stood in front of Kevin.

"Kevin, open up the GPS line." He said.

Kevin raised a brow in confusion. He pushed his chair to his desk and typed on his laptop. He let out an 'oh' when he saw why.

"Keep an eye on him from here. I'm following him." Hyunjae said.

He turned around to exit when Younghoon stopped him. Hyunjae almost glared at Younghoon but Younghoon wasn't intimidated.

"Isn't this going overboard? We aren't even sure about the guy." Younghoon said.

"That's exactly why we need to keep close watch. That idiot won't listen to anything I say." Hyunjae snapped, yanking his arm out of Younghoon's grasp.

"When did you get the tracker on him, anyway?" Kevin asked curiously. He was ignored as Hyunjae walked out of the room.

Younghoon sighed. He turned to Juyeon and gave a look. Juyeon nodded and left the room as well, following Hyunjae. Younghoon turned back and tilted his head at Kevin.

"Don't look at me. I just relayed information, dude."

Hyunjun sighed and Eric rolled his eyes. Reason? Kim Sunwoo won't stop glaring at the back of Yang Jeongin's head.

"Did you see how he smirked when he walked past us? Arrogant and snobby." Sunwoo grumbled.

At that moment, Jeongin turned around to greet Felix who was just joining their table. He must've felt Sunwoo's stare cause he turned to him the slightest. Jeongin made a split eye contact with Sunwoo. He smirked and turned his back to face Sunwoo again.

Sunwoo scoffed at the mocking gesture. He infuriatingly stabbed his pizza with his fork, almost making a dent in the metal tray. Hyunjae flinched at the action. Eric shook his head and glanced at the table.

He made eye contact with Felix who smiled back at him. Eric didn't know how to respond so he resorted to ignoring him. He played with his salad as he pretended not to have seen Felix pouting.

"Why are you looking over there?" Seungmin asked.

"Didn't you know? Felix fancies Mr. Popular guy of the campus." Jeongin snickers.

"I don't fancy Eric." Felix snapped, "And also, I think it'd be better if we keep in contact. We just exposed ourselves, after all."

"I agree." Seungmin nodded.

"If they are from that group who attacked us at the workshop, then don't we have to report the hyungs?" Jeongin asked.

"And if they ask how we found out?" Felix smiled.

"Oh, we can just say we didn't bother to report and went on our own. And add in the fact that I got strangled and almost died." Seungmin added helpfully(not).

"Okay, I get it. Chan hyung would kill us." Jeongin grumbled.

Seungmin and Felix giggled.

"Speaking of Chan hyung, isn't today his date?" Felix said in an amused tone.

"It is. Don't worry. Han will live stream to us how it goes." Seungmin said.

Felix and Jeongin nodded.

"Ready for your first date in forever?" Minho snickered.

Chan threw a cushion at him which Minho caught with ease. Hyunjin and Changbin giggled to themselves quietly in the front seats. Han took off his head phone, hooking them around his neck. He grabbed an earpiece and threw them to Chan.

"No actions taken until I saw so. Get it?" Chan said, putting it on.

It was inconspicuous and looked just like an ear ring. It was perfect. The four nodded at Chan's words.

"Be careful, hyung." Changbin said from the driver's seat.

"Me?" Chan repeated.

Changbin and Hyunjin glanced at each other. Then they looked back at Chan.

"I'm saying cause I got experience fighting the guy." Hyunjin started.

"He is a bitch." Changbin deadpanned.

"Hey." Chan had a warning tone to his voice. Changbin got taken aback. Hyunjin rolled his eyes and turned back to Chan properly.

"What he means is that he's really good at fighting. I know you're more than capable but he's.... I don't know how to explain but he's dangerous." Hyunjin said.

"Don't worry about that. I'm not fighting him." Chan said, getting ready to get off the car.

"Cause you don't wanna mess up his pretty face?" Minho smirked.

It was fortunate the car door closed automatically and quick because Chan's glare was more than enough to kill. He shook his head with a sigh and walked away from the car. They parked quite a distance from their meet up place.

Chan chose a rooftop place where he knew well. He stopped at the entrance of a subway station where he had promised to meet up with Chanhee. He looked around for any signs of the man. He glanced at his clock.

Was he early? It wasn't quite lunch time anymore. They decided on a time which was more evening.

"Hi! I hope I didn't keep you waiting too long." Chanhee chirped as he jogged up to Chan.

"Not at all. I just got here." Chan smiled.

His eyes raked over Chanhee's outfit, smiling at how sweet he looked. So sweet that he couldn't believe this man in front of him was in a gang. Chanhee let out a soft chuckle.

"That's good. Now about that restaurant, can we go already?" Channhee pouted, rubbing his tummy.

"I don't know. I thought a walk in the park would be nice right now." Chan teased.

".........You think?"

Chan chuckled and ruffled up Chanhee's hair out of reflex. Then he froze when Chanhee peered up at him through his lashes. Chan cleared his throat and retracted his hands embarrassedly.

"Let's go." Chan said and walked away.

Chanhee smiled and skipped after Chan. He tilted his head as he walked backwards to face Chan. He put on an innocent smile and batted his lashes at him.

"You get really comfortable quick." Chanhee remarked.

"It's not that. I just- well, you looked cute with that pout and-"

"I looked cute?"

"Well, yeah. Why wouldn't you?" Chan replied.

Chanhee intended to tease Chan but now he was the one blushing. His steps faltered a bit as shyness crept up on him. He whipped around to not face Chan and almost bumped into a street pole.

Chan pulled him back by his waist. Chanhee bumped his back into Chan's chest as he did. He stood still. Chan leant to the side to check at him.

"Are you okay?" Chan asked.

"Yeah, thanks to you." Chanhee smiled wryly.

He turned to look at Chan and found himself in close distance with the man. Chan gulped when Chanhee stared at him with those wide doe eyes of his. He could hear a slight buzzing sound in his ear and immediately backed up.

"Let's go on then." Chan put on a smile.

Chanhee nodded. He glanced down at his hands resting beside Chan's. He contemplated for a while before reaching out for it. Chan looked at him in surprise.

"Lead the way." Chanhee smiled.
