Four

Chanhee met up with Changmin at the fountain in the middle of the square. Changmin glanced at the shopping bag Chanhee was carrying and opened his mouth to speak. But Chanhee wasn't letting him.

"Before you say anything. This isn't mine. I bumped into someone and dirtied his shirt so I took it with me to clean it up."

"Clumsy as always." Changmin commented.

Chanhee rolled his eyes and the two walked towards the main road. They were supposed to wait for Juyeon and Haknyeon to come get them but were thoroughly confused when they saw the two of them standing under a street lamp. Haknyeon grinned brightly and waved at them.

"Where's the car? I'm exhausted. I can't take another step today." Changmin complained.

Juyeon and Haknyeon glanced at each other warily. They gave their best impression of kittens to garner pity. Chanhee and Changmin weren't amused.

"The car suddenly had an urge to break down on the way." Juyeon explained.

"Then let's take a taxi back." Chanhee said, wanting the day to be done.

"You know we can't. Anyways, we have to stop by the car workshop. They said it'll be done by now."

"So you're saying we need to come with you." Changmin deadpanned.

Juyeon and Haknyeon grinned again. Chanhee sighed, raking his hand into his hair.

"Chanhee, can't we go back by ourselves first? I really need to make love to my bed." Changmin whined.

"How do you even say those words?" Haknyeon frowned then shut up once Changmin sent him a glare.

Chanhee thought for a while. They were supposed to go back together after they finished their work. They always followed any kind of plans even if it was just a simple grocery trip because that's how dangerous their lives were. It doesn't help that they ticked off a few big names in the field too.

"Let's just take the extra mile. The plan for today is already disrupted by the car breaking down." Chanhee said.

"That's right. It'll be much safer and I promise we'll be quick." Juyeon said.

Changmin sighed and kicked his legs in a tiny tantrum. Haknyeon hugged Changmin's arms and pulled him along to the way. Juyeon and Chanhee chuckled as they followed the two in front.

Felix was at his desk in his dorm room. The campus was pretty much deserted except for the foreign students and other few students at the study rooms. Though Felix doubts there's much studying going on.

Felix was going through his hit list that Minho had sent him. It was just a precaution list in case they needed to do a quick clean up. He definitely didn't expect someone to knock on his door at this hour. He got up and opened it nonetheless.

"Hi! I'm Eric. I stay just a few rooms away from you, right there." Eric pointed out.

"Oh, hi. I'm Felix."

The two did the good old handshake. Felix was skeptical as to why Eric had come to introduce himself.

"Oh, though I'm just a sophomore, I'm in charge reporting the dorm issues to the school president. So, you know, if you have any problems, you can tell me and I'll pass it to the council." Eric smiled.

"Oh, thanks." Felix replied.

He checked out the kid in front of him. He let out a smirk.

"If that's all, I need my rest." Felix said.

"Oh, of course. Good night!" Eric waved.

Felix nodded back and closed the door. He turned around and glanced back at the door, craning his head a bit. That Eric guy was a little too bright for his taste.

"So he's the same grade as Jeongin, huh?" Felix thought out loud.

Felix and Seungmin were juniors while Jeongin was a sophomore. Since Eric was a sophomore, he might share more classes with Jeongin than with the two of them.

Eric kept smiling as he walked away from Felix's door. As soon as he turned around the corner, his smile faded away. Eric had caught a glimpse of the inside of Felix's room. Although the boy had his computer faced away from the door, the screen reflected on the alarm clock beside his bed.

"Hello, Jacob?" Eric called once he locked the door to his room. He plopped down his bed. "Yeah, there's a new kid who just transferred to the school. He's one of them."

Eric nodded and hang up after reporting to Jacob. He would stay put and keep an eye on the boy for the moment. He would inform Sunwoo and Hyunjun next morning.

Hyunjin looked up as he heard footsteps walking into the garage. Once he saw it was the ones from this morning, he nudged Han who was focusing on repairing a car radio beside him. Han looked up and saw the visitors. He made eye contact with Hyunjin and nodded.

They had already reported to Chan. Han went ahead into the house to call Minho for backup since they needed to make sure the capture was quick and quiet. He tapped on Changbin on the way to alert him of the visitors. Changbin nodded back in acknowledgement.

"Hello! We left our car here this morning." Haknyeon said with a smile.

"Oh, let me look back through the list to complete the payment." Hyunjin replied.

Changbin and Hyunjin kept sharing discreet glances. Haknyeon and Juyeon stood in front of the register as Hyunjin pretended to search for the payment. He started acting.

"Hmm.. what name did you leave with us?" Hyunjin asked.

"Haknyeon."

"Sorry, it's taking a while for some reason. It's not showing up."

"It's ok. Take your time." Haknyeon said.

Juyeon glanced around the garage and spotted their car. He walked up to the car and took a quick check. It looked ready to drive. After Haknyeon foots the bill, they could drive back home without hearing Changmin's complaints.

Then, Juyeon noticed two other people walk into the garage. It seemed to be the door into the house. He tilted his head as the two walked beside Changbin. The three talked about something which Juyeon couldn't hear since he was quite far.

But Juyeon had something else. He knew how to read lips.

One of the guys turned around and made eye contact with Juyeon at that moment. Juyeon smiled back to avoid suspicion. But he knew they had to get out of here quick. He walked up to Haknyeon and nudged his elbow. Juyeon leant in much to Haknyeon's confusion.

"We need to get out quick." He whispered.

Haknyeon's eyes flickered towards the other three guys present in the garage. He turned back to Hyunjin who had the receipt out with a smile. Haknyeon smiled back and grabbed the receipt. But Hyunjin wasn't letting go.

Slowly, both of their smiles hardened into a unamused thin line. Haknyeon and Juyeon watched as Minho walked up behind Hyunjin. Haknyeon took a deep breath and broke out into a smile again.

"Any problems with the payment?" He asked.

"No, sir." Hyunjin replied, "But we might need you to stay with us for a bit."

"Did my card decline or what?"

"Nope."

Next thing, they know Hyunjin and Minho had already jumped over the register. Haknyeon and Juyeon backed off quickly and turned around. But Changbin and Han were already positioned there.

Haknyeon and Juyeon stuck back to back. They stared at the four guys surrounding them on high alert. Minho took a step, his eyes all cold and serious.

"We need you to return something that doesn't belong to you." He said.

Juyeon frowned. He craned his neck to glance at Haknyeon and nudged him from behind. Haknyeon glanced back.

"Hey, did we steal anything?" Juyeon asked, tone obviously sarcastic.

"Hmm... I don't think so. Stealing is bad." Haknyeon answered back in the most innocent tone you can imagine.

"I thought so too." Juyeon chuckled then turned back to Minho with a cold look. "We have nothing to return." He spoke.

Minho scoffed, poking his tongue into his cheek. He cracked his neck and smirked at Juyeon.

"Then I guess we got no choice."

Chaos. A fight broke out in the garage with two guys against four. You think it's unfair? Maybe, not quite.

Juyeon gritted his teeth as Minho and Hyunjin attacked him from all sides. He had no chance for attack as he kept blocking every single blow. He waited for a chance and pushed away Hyunjin as the guy attempted to kick at him. Hyunjin went flying into a shelf of tire and hubs.

Haknyeon was up against sheer brute force as Changbin swung punch after punch. Han managed to secure Haknyeon's arms from behind. But Haknyeon wasn't staying still. He struggled against the hold once he saw Changbin preparing a blow. He quickly jumped up and kicked Changbin then bent down, swinging Han across from his back.

But as soon as Haknyeon attempted to stand up, he was pushed down by Hyunjin. Haknyeon groaned as his face came in contact with the concrete ground. He grunted as Hyunjin stepped on his shoulder blade. Haknyeon's eyes flickered towards Juyeon who was taking on Minho and Changbin at once.

"Give it up. You're outnumbered." Han said.

Juyeon fell down with a thud beside Haknyeon. He glanced at Haknyeon who's face was dirty and a side of his head was bleeding slightly. Juyeon's jaw clenched in anger and he glared up at Minho. Minho smirked and crouched down, levelling their gaze.

"I did offer you an easier way." Minho shrugged.

The four of them surrounded Juyeon and Haknyeon. Hyunjin had stepped away from Haknyeon by now. Haknyeon sat up with the stinging pain in his head. He did hit the ground hard. But somehow, the two of them didn't look worried. Han and Changbin noticed they were looking behind them. They turned around to see another two guys, one of them looked pretty pissed off.

"I thought you said it would be quick?" Changmin muttered.

"Sorry." Juyeon squeaked. It was an amusing fact that he was more scared of Changmin at the moment.

Chanhee took a quick scan of the situation. Since both Juyeon and Haknyeon were down, he doubted the guys were simple robbers. He took a deep breath and walked towards them, Changmin following close behind. Chanhee stopped in front of Changbin who was pretty annoyed by the fact that he had to look up to Chanhee.

"Hi, I need my friends back." Chanhee said.

"And we need something your friends stole." Changbin replied.

Chanhee frowned and leant to the side to look at Juyeon.

"Hey, did you steal something from them?" He asked.

"No. Not that I know of." Juyeon replied.

"Fine."

Chanhee turned back to Changbin. He put on a sweet smile and tilted his head. It was a chilling silent moment for everyone in the garage.

Then, the fight resumed. This time, Chanhee up against Changbin, Minho against Juyeon, Hyunjin against Haknyeon and finally, Han against Changmin.

Changbin cursed under his breath every time Chanhee slipped away from his hold and retaliated. Chanhee kept calm as he used Changbin's strength to his advantage.

Minho and Juyeon were equally matched as the two fought like sword and shield. Beside them though, Hyunjin and Haknyeon were going at it like cats and dogs. Haknyeon threw hub after hub while Hyunjin dodged them and made his way to Haknyeon. Haknyeon's view was a bit fuzzy from the fall earlier. But he managed to put up against Hyunjin's attacks.

Han was practically defending himself against Changmin's fast attacks. The assassin threw blow after blow and kept swinging his legs at Han's head. Han felt dizzy just trying to catch the guy's movements.

At one point, Juyeon and Chanhee made eye contact. The two of them communicated through their eyes and made their way to the others. Chanhee stuck back to back with Changmin while Juyeon did the same with Haknyeon. It didn't take verbal words to let the four know it was time for an escape.

They could or could not win against these guys but they do need to get out quick. Chanhee jumped up on Juyeon who caught him with great stability. Then Juyeon proceeded to swing Chanhee around who kicked at the four coming towards them.

That is, until Hyunjin caught his ankle. Chanhee struggled against his hold. Haknyeon saw the scene and slid in to kick at Hyunjin's ankles making him stumble down. With no one to hold them back, the three of them hopped onto their car. Changmin was already in the driver's seat.

He drove off while Juyeon and Chanhee were slipping into the backside seat. Haknyeon was still on the roof as they made their escape. He looked back at the car workshop and saw Hyunjin running out of the garage after them. He smirked when they made eye contact.

Hyunjin panted as he ran as much as he could. He panted heavily, bending over in exhaustion. His knee and ankles hurt from when Haknyeon had kicked him away. He felt even more infuriated when Haknyeon had smirked at him.

"You. I will remember your face." Hyunjin gritted.

He walked back into the garage and looked at Han and Changbin who was sprawled out on the floor. Minho was leaning against the register.

"Why are you bleeding?" Hyunjin questioned.

"That pretty fucker had spikes on the soles of his boots!" Changbin snapped.

He winced when the pain shot through him. The three of them had been kicked by Chanhee's last effort. Hyunjin shrugged and went ahead to get the first aid kit. Minho unbuttoned his shirt and checked out the slightly punctured wounds on his chest.

"At least we know they weren't out for a kill." Han said.

"Excuse me!?" Changbin exclaimed.

"They could've clearly killed us if they had hidden weapons like these. But they didn't."

"Or maybe they just couldn't beat us enough for that." Minho intervened.

"That sounds..... plausible." Han admitted.

"Whatever it is. We just revealed our identities. They might not know us now but they will soon enough." Hyunjin said, handing them the bandages. He applied some of the ointment on his knee himself.

"That makes things complicated." Changbin said.

"You think they'll come after us or just stay away?" Han asked.

"Who knows." Minho replied.

The four of them treated their own wounds. Hyunjin and Han helped bandage up Minho and Changbin. While Changbin was complaining to Han that the ointment hurts, Seungmin and Jeongin came back.

"What the hell happened here?" Seungmin said in wonder.

Jeongin looked around the messy garage. Without a word, he went out to get the sign and closed down the garage door. He turned back to the others with a stoic look.

"So, what happened?"

A/N: So they starting to meet! Hehehehe
