Vinnie Skulk is a male anthropomorphic red fox who was Ace's best friend and partner when he was in the cyclonian army. He has red fur, white underside, black paws, feet, and spiky hair, and teal eyes. He wears a black suit with dark gray shoulder and knee armor and chest plate with a dark red fox head symbol in the middle. In flashbacks, he is seen wearing a talon uniform and a war helmet.

Vinnie was Ace's "brother in arms" when he was a talon commander and served as his second in command and best friend. He was also a close associate to Apello but never called her "master", believing he was his own master. Sadly, during a battle with the Rex Guardians, Vinnie was presumably killed when Harrier blasted him in the chest with his sword and sliced his parachute, causing him to fall into the Wastelands, enraging Ace. Fortunately, he was rescued by passing merchants. Afterwards, Vinnie dedicated his life to assisting the innocent. He sees his friend again after he rescues them from a group of murk raiders. He joins the Talon Resistance and marries his love interest.

Vinnie's last name is a reference to a group of foxes.

He is the first anthropomorphic animal who was a talon.

His nickname "The Dark Fox" is a gag from Ace's former name.

Vinnie was the only talon Ace respected.

It is unknown how or why Vinnie was aligned with the Talons.

He shares the same voice actor with Aerrow and Ace.
