Jason Strike was the father of Sparrow Strike and the grandfather of Lightning Strike and Ace. He had red hair and dark blue eyes. 

According to Shadow Stalk, Jason Strike was actually the son of defected cyclonians. When he grew up he became a Sky Knight. Jason was a member of the original Sky Knight council and was a close friend of Ivan Storm. He agreed to making peace with the Exos but was out voted. After Ivan died, Jason was suspicious that his friend's death wasn't due to natural causes. After Jay's death, Jason was outraged and had the orphanage his grandchildren were staying at to be shut down due to incompetency of watching the children. Jason quit being a Sky Knight to watch over his kids and a few of their friends including Swan, Corvus, and the future Storm Hawks until they were old enough to fend for themselves. Ace mentions Jason died of old age.

Jason loved his son dearly but was disappointed upon hearing of his abuse towards his grandchildren and even assisted Kai in imprisoning him.

Jason loved his grandchildren dearly, even adopting some of their friends after the orphanage is shut down. When he dies, Ace, Swan, Parotia, and Corvus are seen at his grave sight

Trivia:

Jason's nickname was Jace or Ace as some called him, leading the naming of his grandsons; Jason and Ace.

He is the only member of Ace's family to have died of old age rather than an illness or murder.
