The Kiss

Andrews POV

My lips crashed down on hers unexpectedly and I heard her gasp against my lips making me shiver. She doesn't move she just sits there, shocked. While my hand are in her hair bringing her closer to me. I feel like an idiot I think I just lost my chance with her, I'm so stupid!

I pull back and avoid looking at her, waiting for a slap or rejection or something, but it never came. Instead she lifts my face up to hers and kisses me passionately wrapping her hands around my neck and my arms instantly goes around her waist and she winced. I must be causing her pain so I decide to pull back but she just shakes her head and brings me closer so our body are pressed together. There is electricity and sparks going through my body but all I care about is that I love this girl she is everything to me.

After a while we both pull back for air and just stare into each other's eyes "Astrid, I really like you! And maybe we could-"I interrupt him

"No I can't!" she whisper yelled and her words made my heart break.

"W-W-Why?" I ask but she just shook her head and stood up but leant over and let out a yelp of pain and her hand went straight to her stitched up stomach. I grabbed her two hands and brought her to me and sat her on my lap again and she laid her head on my shoulder and a hand on my chest.

I stroke her soft blonde hair as she falls asleep in my lap. After a little bit I lift her up and take her up stairs to my room and place her small, fragile and beautiful body under the covers and give her a kiss on the cheek and lay beside her with my arm around her small waist trying not to hurt her and drift off into a deep sleep.

ONE WEEK LATER

Astrid POV

I woke up in Andrews's arms again and I got to tell you it felt so right where I was and it's where I wanted to be more than anything but I had to leave before he woke up before he realised that I was leaving. I don't want Andrew, Melissa and Rose to put up with me or my problems I don't want them to worry or get hurt because of me they don't deserve it and I don't deserve them so I have to leave.

On the end of the bed was some clothes that Melissa must have put there for me to wear today. It was a dark velvet corset that ran into a pair of shorts, both of which hugged me tightly. Under it I wore a white V-neck t-shirt, to cover up the fact that the corset did not cover the top of my torso entirely it was actually really cute!

After that I grabbed my phone off the bedside table and turn it on and realised that I have eight miss calls and fifteen text messages from Stella. Oops I forgot to tell her that I was sleeping at Andrews and what happened with my dad. She is going to kill me!

Hey! Why weren't you at school? :o

Well I almost got beat to death by my father!

Where are you? I went to your house and you weren't there! Call me PLZ!!

OK YOU ARE STARTING TO WORRY ME!! DID YOUR DAD DO SOMETHING? PLZ CALL L

TOO AND HE ISN'T PICKING UP! WHERE ARE YOU???????

The other messages from her are all the same as 'Call me' and 'where are you?' so I just slipped my phone in my pocket and I will call her when I get home. I grab one of Andrews's jumpers knowing it's going to be chilly outside since it is winter and head out the door.

I took the stairs quietly and slowly because my body still hurt and I didn't want anybody to know I was leav- then a sweet, innocent and tired voice interrupted my thoughts and I regrated turning around.

"Astrid where are you going?" Rose said while rubbing her eyes with her fists and yawning.

"I'm going back home" I said wanting to cry from the sad look on her face.

"Will I see you again?" she asked with tears in her eyes.

I kneeled down in front of her shaking little body and shook my head and she burst into tears hugging me and I hug her back.

"Please don't leave!" she whisper yelled and cried harder.

"I'm sorry but I have to go home before Andrew wakes up ok?" she nods before wiping her eyes to clear all her small tears. I feel so guilty and she should hate me!

When I got out of the house a cold breeze hits me making me shiver so I put Andrews zip up black hoodie jumper on and it smelt exactly like him making my eyes water but I just start walking to my house.

By the time I get home my legs feel like they froze from the cold. I go to grab the key from under the mat that said 'Go back home!' but it wasn't there, so I twisted the handle and it was unlocked! Could my dad be here? No it was probably just the police that didn't lock the door. Yeah that was It!

I went inside the house and looked around, everything still looked the same as it did from the night when he almost killed me.

"Hello?" I yelled and I know it's what stupid blondes do in a horror movie but I was just making shore there was nobody here. There was no answer so I went upstairs to my room and grabbed a bag and through the rest of my clothes into a big duffel bag and the money I have been keeping in a box at the bottom of my cubed and packed it in the duffel bag and zipped it up.

"Astrid?" The voice was very familiar and it made my heart beat one hundred miles an hour and not in a good way.

"Dad! Leave or I will call the police!" I threatened, my right hand reaching behind me to grab my phone from the back of my pants but he pulled out a knife and I squeal as he charged towards me.

Andrews POV

"Andrew!" someone yelled my name but I just groan and roll over to where Astrid is but my hand hit blank bed sheet, Where is she?

My eyes open as Rose yells my name again she sounds like she has been crying because she is hiccupping. I sit up in bed "what's wrong baby girl?" I lift her up and sit her on my lap and stroke her hair.

"Astrid" Hiccup "said that she needs" Hiccup "To go home and that she" Hiccup "Was never coming" Hiccup "Back" on the last word her voice broke and my heart broke.

I lifted Rose-Mary up and sat her on my bed and got up and went to my dresser and got out my school jersey and slipped it over my bear chest.

"I'm going to go find her ok? And bring her back" I opened the door to see my aunt Melissa standing outside the door.

"We are coming with you ok?" she demanded.

"But -"she interrupted me.

"No buts, no if's, no nothing we are coming to find our Astrid she is a hurting girl that doesn't want to involve us in her problems she doesn't think we deserve to put up with her but what she doesn't know is that we all love her we all care for her she is like family" she said with a smile.

"Yeah I wuv my Astrid!" Rose jumps up and down in her spot while clapping her hands.

"Ok let's go" I said with a small smile on my face happy to know that they accept my girl!

We get in the car and I start driving the way to Astrid's house. When we get there I hear a scream and it was surly Astrid's and I turn the engine off and jump out of the car and run into the house and scream out to Astrid.

"Astrid, where are you baby" I hear a smash of glass coming from upstairs.

"I run up the stairs and into a room where I hear crashing sounds and I see Astrid lying on the ground with a knife in her left middle thigh and she is trying to crawl away from her father but he keeps skulking towards her slowly with an evil smirk on his face making me want to fucking kill this Asshole that touched the girl I love!

"Hey! Asshole" he turns around in astonishment and I punch him square in the nose making him clutch his nose howling in pain. He reels back falling on his ass.

When he snaps out of his stage of shock he grabs Astrid by the hair and knees her in the face making her scream in pain as his knee connects with the side of her face making me so angry.

I kick him in the gut and he bends over in pain and Astrid gets up and taps on her evil fathers back and he turns around in surprise that she can even stand up with a stab wound and kicked him square in the balls he pushes her as she kicks him in the balls and she falls into a hard wooden table. Ouch.

I run over to her as I hear the sirens of a police car and an ambulance but I didn't get far because her father punched me in the face making me fall to the ground and ran off.

I crawled over to a crying Astrid and grabbed into my arms and held her too me until the police and ambulance came rushing in and put her into a bed and took her down to the ambulance van with me tagging along.

When I was in the van I looked outside the window to see Melissa talking to one of the police men and a little rose in her arms crying.

"Baby?" Astrid said while grabbing my hand and her words made my heart beat faster and my breathing fasten.

"Y-yeah" I studded, dude stuttering seriously! Grow some balls!

"I really like you too Andrew" and with that she passed out.

OMG did she really just say that! I could feel a blush form on my face and I lean down and kiss her on the cheek.
