My eyes open and all I see is white, the ceiling, the walls, the tiles even the bed, everything was god Damn white! Wait!..... where am I?

Something shifts beside me making me freeze...

"Astrid, you awake?" A familiar voice said beside me and I know that voice, Andrew black.

I turn to look at him and I instantly get lost in his beautiful blue eyes. We just sat there staring at each other for god knows how long until I decide to break the silence "What are you doing here? What am I doing here? where am I? What happened?-".

"Hey, Astrid calm down baby, and I am here because I care about you and you passed out at school and had to be taken to the hospital because of the bruises all over your body- and um... Astrid how did you get those bruises Astrid, please tell me?" he demanded, but I ignored the last question.

"Baby?" i laugh and he blushes.

OMG, I just made the bad boy, Andrew black blush! mission accomplished. Well, it wasn't really a mission but at least I made it happen.

"Astrid-" he didn't get to finish his sentence because the door to my hospital room opened and a nurse with natural flaming red hair, green eyes, and a pair of blue long pants and a blue sleeve shirt that has a tag on it that said Dr. green and there was a stethoscope hanging around her neck.

"Hey, sweety how are you feeling," Dr. green asked with a sweet smile the showed off her perfectly white teeth. I guess she was probably in her late 20's and she was absolutely beautiful.

"I feel great. So how long will I be in the hospital for?" I asked a bit scared of knowing what my dad will do to me when I don't go street home after school.

"I think you are going home when your dad gets here to pick you up sweetheart" My eyes widen my heart starts beating ten times faster than it should be and I'm surprised the Dr and Andrew didn't hear it. No no no! My dad can't pick me up, do you know what he will do to me, he will kill me!

"NO!" I cried.

"What's wrong Astrid?" Andrew grabbed my chin and turned my face so I was looking at him and he caresses my cheek with his thumb "What's wrong? I can help baby, just let me in. Please" I feel a tear trickle down my cheek. Andrew leaned in and kisses the tear away and sits his for head against mine "Let me in" so much emotion flashed across his face it made me wanna cry.

"Aw you kids are so cute" Dr. green flashed us a grin before she said "But I need to check your heart okay Astrid?" all I can manage is a nod when Andrew is stroking my hair, I don't think I can manage to say a single word.

"Sit up please sweetheart" Dr Green nodded at me. I try to sit up but the pain in my ribs, stomach and back explodes through my body and I give a cry of pain so Dr Green and Andrew help me sit up but Andrews's hands linger on my waist a little longer than necessary. "Okay I'm just going to listen to your heart" Dr Green puts the stethoscope plugs in her ears then lifts up my shirt which makes me tense because I didn't want anybody to see the bruises on my body.

As soon as my shirt is up to my bra line I look at the Dr, and her eyes are wide, she has the look of disgust on her face then I look at Andrew, and I deeply regret it because he looks furious while his eyes are scanning my stomach and ribs, his fists are cleansed in tight balls, and his breathing is fast, and the look on his face tells me he is thinking he is going to kill someone and that kinda scared me.

The nurse shakes her head and places the cold stethoscope on my heart and nods then moves it in different places for about five minutes "Astrid sweaty how did you get all these bruises?" the nurse asked sweetly.

"Um.... yeah, I fell" lie.

"You fell?" she asks suspiciously. Shit, she isn't buying it!

"Yeah, I fell down the stairs" I give her a smile which by the way was forced.

"Sweaty I don't think you fell down the stairs because I have been a nurse for three years and I have treated kids that have fallen down the stairs and they don't come up with boot and hand mark bruises all over their bodies, I think you have been physically harmed and I think I'm going to have to call the police about this" I shake my head.

"I fell down the stairs and that's what happened okay," I said starting to get a little frustrated.

"Okay, sweaty but if this happens again I will have to call the police and put in a report about child abuse" she gives me a little smile "Okay kids I have to head out and check on my other patients, but I will see you later and Astrid your dad will be here soon" and with that, she walks out the white door.

Me and Andrew have been sitting in silence for almost ten minutes now and he seems to be in deep thought at the moment his hand is still in mine and his other hand is still stroking my hair and I'm about to fall asleep when the door opens quite harshly hitting the wall, which is definitely going to leave a dent in the already scraped white wall.

My dad steps into the room and he looks really angry his face red and his fists clenched into tight balls. Andrew immediately stands up in front of me blocking me from my father "Who the hell are you" Andrew demands and all my father does is laugh.

"She is my daughter you stupid kid" he yells at Andrew and I could tell Andrew was getting angry so I put my hand on his shoulder "Andrew calm down okay" he takes a deep breath and nods. I am about to try to get off the bed when Andrews's hands go around my waist and he was about to lift me when my dad pushes Andrew into the side of the chair he was sitting on and he almost falls over but he balanced himself before he did fall. My dad grabbed me by the forearm and pulls me off the bed painfully and pushed me into the door.

My head throbbed and my body ached and I couldn't take the pain any longer so I bent over to help the pain. "Astrid in the car, now!" I look up to see my dad coming towards me so I pulled myself off the door and walked out the door through the halls and out into the parking lot and waited by the car till my dad came out.

Ten minutes later I'm getting out of the car and walking up the small path to the house. When I'm at the door I try to open it but it was locked so that means I have to wait for my dad to unlock it. I see my dad coming and I instantly get scared "Astrid you are going to cop it when we get inside" he said while unlocking the door the house.

I go to walk up to my room when my dad grabs my hair and yanks me to the ground and kicks my side over and over again making me gasp for air then he sits on me with his legs each side of me and punched me I could feel the pain of every punch connecting with each side of my face then he stood up and I could feel the blood all over my face he grabbed me by the throat and lifted me up against the wall and leaving me clawing at his hand for him to let go but he didn't.

"You nearly made me lose my job today you selfish bitch, I had to leave a meeting because of your stupid behaviour and that boy thinks he can protect you, well he is a stupid fuck because I'm just going to kill you when I'm done, I'm going to kill you for killing my sweet, beautiful, kind and smart Amelia. but you had to kill her! DIDN'T YOU!" He spat in my face, hand still around my throat.

"You fucking crazy bitch. Your mother would have wanted me to kill you for what you did to our family. You where a mistake that never should have happened your mum and I where just having a little fun when a few months later your fucking ugly head pooped out you fucking whore nobody will ever care about you, love you, think of you, look at your disgusting ugly face or even go near you slut!" he lets me go and I gasp for air and slide down the wall and fell on my ankle and I heard it snap and I let out another cry of pain and I fell to the ground pretty hard on my ass but that is the least of my problems at the moment "I don't want you coming back hear for a month until I get my job under control, understand?" I didn't say anything and it must have made him mad "UNDERSTAND?" I nod and he walks away.

I didn't think it was possible to get up but I did, I managed to and I was proud of myself for doing so. Limping out the front door and I got a few blocks away but couldn't take the pain anymore I had to stop for a bit, I don't even know where i was going.

I lay down on the damp green grass, I could hear a couple of kids playing in the park across the road till a little girl came up to me.

"Hello, what happened to you? are you Okay girl?" the little girl asked but I couldn't move or talk at the moment "Drew! this girl is hurt! Drew!" the little girl screamed out.

"Hey what are you tal-"  he doesn't finish his sentence when he sees me "Astrid!" he runs over to me and pulls the damp hair out of my eyes and all I can think is that I know that voice but I don't know anybody named Drew. I know that voice I remember!

The next thing I know is that I'm getting lifted up off the ground and it started raining making me drenched in seconds I should be feeling pain while Andrew is running but I don't feel anything I'm numb! and then everything all around me just goes black.
