A Long Chapter Is Coming Toward You...........

Naim: Those two are not going to end this after all!!!

Naim told everything about Kahar and Fakhri's argument just a few minutes ago to Amir, he was worried that they might create a new problem to Lily who didn't done anything wrong.

Amir: Are you not going to do anything about this?

Naim: I have to Amir, I don't care if Lily found out about High Council and exposed it to school, but they are trying to put Lily under more pressure than she is now. How can a single girl manage a group of teen boys here?

Amir: Naim, Lily's a smart girl, no one can defeat her that easily, did you see how smart she was when interrogating Fakhri and Kahar for their fight? She found it out just by their bruises and their body languages, she's not a joke to begin with Naim.

Naim: I know, she can handle everything, but........I don't know, something's not right about this.......

Amir: Naim, calm down. Now half of the Form 4 students are admitted to the hospital, and they will find out the truth soon, but I hope it will be not enough to know about High Council.

Naim: Are you saying we should hide this from them as well?

Amir: I didn't mean it like that.......I think it's not the right time to know about it.........

Naim: Dang it!!!!!

Naim punched his beg in annoyance and stood up, frustrated by the situation he was in.

Naim: I need to protect Lily at any cost, but how should I do that?........

Naim was thinking of a way to protect Lily when he realized something.

Naim: That's it, Mia!!!

Mr. Sin showed the report of the ill students to the principle.

Tuan Yusof: So, Grayanotoxin.

Mr. Sin: A pyschoactive drug actually. At first, I thought it's from canteen. But, if that's true, how come only Form 4s get affected? And for the last 24 hours, what did Form 4s do that makes it so accurate to have the effects on them?

Mr. Sin stared at the principle for a while before telling the words.

Mr. Sin: Kem Bulan Madu.

Tuan Yusof: Ya ya ya.....but Mr. Sin, this is like a tradition of Kudrat, you can't just simply suspect the tradition just for this problem.

Mr. Sin: It's not an ordinary problem here sir, we are talking about drugs.

Tuan Yusof: So, what am I supposed to do?

Mr. Sin: You don't have to do anything, but let me interrogate the whole Form 4 batch and also Form 5 who are involved in this year's Kem Bulan Madu.

Tuan Yusof: If that's what you want, go ahead.

When Mr. Sin was about to leave, Tuan Yusof spoke up about something.

Tuan Yusof: Mr. Sin, you are not investigating the Kudrat's tradition, you have decided to face the battle, don't try to get hurt by that, be careful all the time.

Mia went back behind the canteen, she was quite offended by the new case of drug, she took out a cigarette butt and put it on her lips, she took out a lighter and flicked to light it up, but it's not working. She tried many times until someone raised a lighter with a small fire and burned the edge of the butt.

Mia looked up and saw a tall man in his school uniform, probably dressed like a prefect, it was none other than Naim. She smoked the cigarette and took it out from her mouth, releasing the toxic gases inside her.

Mia: What are you doing here?

Naim: I wanted to talk.

Mia looked up and stared at Naim's face.

Mia: About what?

Naim: Well......the school and....Lily.....

Mia: Lily? What do you want from her?

Naim: Nothing, but I need to talk now.

After a while, Naim and Mia sat down on a bench, looked around the place as an awkward silence filled between them.

Naim: So.....about Lily, where is she?

Mia: She's dealing with a new case drug, she's set off to find the person who's responsible for this.

Naim: Are you not going to help her?

Mia: Do you think I won't? Of course I wanted to, but she insisted me to stay here and look after the canteen, I wonder what she's up to right now.

Naim: Mia, can I ask you something?

Mia: What? Are you going to ask me if I'm responsible for this?

Naim: Hehe, no no. It's.......is Lily taking the school's condition seriously?

Mia puffed in hesitation and sat straight, playing with her hair while thinking about Lily's concern.

Mia: She's not worrying about herself, that's what makes me worried. Unlike me who don't care about this school at all, Lily's not going to give up for this school that easily.

Naim: Actually....I'm worried about her as well.....cause........

Mia: Cause what?

Naim: I think some students are now targeting on Lily, they are just trying to find some ways to impress her.

Mia smirked widely and patted Naim's shoulder.

Mia: Look who's saying it, so are you saying you're not into her?

Naim gulped in fear as he thought that he spilled the beans by himself.

Naim: I mean....uh.......I'm just telling the truth.

Mia: Yeah right. Anyway, what happened to your hand?

Naim looked at his injured hand, that injury reminded him of Lily's face when she came to save him from the danger ahead. He was yearning to see her after encountering everything that happened in the forest earlier. He was lucky that he's alive now only because of Lily, her gold heart was enough to save his life, without his knowledge.

Naim: I.....I fell from the mountain when we're jungle trekking. Remember, kem bulan madu?

Mia: ( whispers ) Really? Lying to me when I know the truth? This fellow is such.......let's just not show it in front of him.

Naim: Hello Mia, are you listening?

Mia: Yeah yeah, I am. What is it again?

Naim: Yeah......I have injured my hand because I fell back there.

Mia: Well...luckily it didn't get any worse. Be careful next time Naim, you can't depend on someone to look after your life, because it's your life, your responsibility.

Naim glanced at Mia for a second before plastering a smile on his lips.

Naim: Since when did you start to care about me so much?

Mia: Who said I care about you? It's nothing literally.

With a long sigh, Mia stood up and went back to the canteen to continue her work, Naim smiled at her disappearing figure and looked at the ground.

Naim: Interesting girl........

At the other side, Mr. Sin and Lily were discussing about the drug place which was still a mystery to them, they have no idea of the reason behind this happened. But, with this one case was enough to receive a bad name for this school.

Lily: So, now that we know that it's a drug problem, what is our next move?

Mr. Sin: This is the first time I'm hearing such a devastating news in my whole teacher life. I don't know what to do now.

Lily: But why did you call them to be in the hall now?

Mr. Sin: Lily, just because some of Form 4 students are admitted to the hospital today due to the overdosed of drug, doesn't mean we should let the other batch to go away either, it could be anyone who had done it when Kem Bulan Madu was going on.

Lily: so are you going to interrogate on them?

Mr. Sin: I have to Lily, I need to see if they're really telling exactly the same as you told me what you witnessed there, even if a slight change of that story, they will become a suspect on this case.

Lily: Well, I'm not going to stop you from that, it's just that I can't imagine who would that person be.

Mr. Sin: Everything will be fine Lily, now let's go and talk to the whole batch.

At the other side, the Form 4 and Form 5 batches were standing in the middle of the hall, they were anxious of thinking what could Mr. Sin was going to announce to them. Kahar was trying not to sweat dramatically as he thought that they might have know the truth.

Fakhir on the other hand was looking around the hall, he had that feeling of something fishy going to happen to him, Naim also crossed his arms and tapped the ground in nervous.

Ariz: Kahar, did they find out or what?

Kahar: I don't know man, please don't try to scare me!!

Mr. Sin: Students!!!!!

Just in time, Mr. Sin arrived at the hall, the students lined up with several rows and stood straight. He looked carefully at each and every student's body language, he can't find any suspicious of being fear from any students. He might be wrong to think that no one did, or did not know the truth.

Fakhir, Naim and Kahar were acting cool until Lily showed up at the hall, which made them to shock to the core. They widened their eyes and stared at her, who she walked toward Mr. Sin and stood next to him, looked serious about the upbringing issue.

Fakhri MV: What the hell she is doing here? Has she perhaps told him about my fight with Kahar?

Naim MV: Oh no, what if she had told the incident happened at the forest?

Kahar MV: That's it, she might had found out about the drug thing.

Every one of them had their own opinion of what Mr. Sin was going to announce, until he took a mic and started to speak.

Mr. Sin: Good morning, students. I know it's not a perfect time to start, but we have no other choice but to talk about it right now.

Lily was observing each and every students's body language to see if it's out of the ordinary.

Mr. Sin: As you all know, half of Form 4 students are admitted to the hospital, and the results came as they're overdosed, by a drug named Grayanotoxin. Which means, someone is dealing with a drug matter in this school.

When Mr. Sin mentioned the word drug, Kahar started to get nervous even more, he gulped for the millionth time for today or maybe even higher than that. Lily noticed his body language from the stage and she started to get suspicious of him.

Mr. Sin: And with that, I want to have everyone's urine sample to analyze if there's any drug in your body. After giving your urine sample, report to the principle office immediately. Those who are in sick bay, I will meet them personally. Until the interrogation is done, no one is allowed to go away or go back to your dorm. Understand?

The students were hesitating to answer but they had no other choice than to nod their heads in agreement.

Mr. Sin: Very well, thanks for your co-operation. I will be at the office now, you all will be given a small container to store your urine, make sure to arrive at the office after you done. Is that clear?

Students: Yes, sir!

Mr. Sin: Good.

With that said, Mr. Sin turned off the microphone and left the hall in a hurry, to prepare everything needed for the interrogation. Lily stared at the boys who were looking confused, she can't help but to notice Kahar's weird behaviour since the beginning.

Lily: What if he's the one behind this?

Lily slowly went down from the stage, Kahar and Naim were standing next to each other while Fakhri was standing about two to three rows from them. She stood in front of Kahar and observed his whole body language, he didn't have the courage enough to look at her eyes even a bit.

Kahar: Lily, I..........

Lily: Don't make my intentions true, Kahar.

Lily warned Kahar sternly, before leaving the hall as well. Kahar and Naim were quite taken aback from her statement, she was not being a joke anymore to them. Fakhri was witnessing it not too far and quite surprised by her serious face, he smiled a bit and looked at the place where she left.

Lily was walking around the school with her mother Faniza when the interrogation was going on.

Faniza: How things are going right now?

Lily: Quite tough, I have a bad feeling about this.

Faniza: Hope for the best, Lily. This school has seen too much of these.

Lily: I don't know what's awaiting for us at a later time.

Faniza looked at her watch and realized she's getting late for her class.

Faniza: All right, I got to go now. Talk to you later, take care.

Lily: All right.

Faniza immediately left from the place to attend her next class, Lily has been left out once again but she wasn't bothered by that anyway. When she walked around the school yard, she heard someone calling out her name. She looked up and saw a middle aged-woman calling her out.

Lily can't recognized the woman as she had never seen her before, she walked toward the woman and looked at her face.

Lily: Do I know you, miss?

???: Are you perhaps Lily?

Lily: Yes, I'm Lily. Who are you?

Idah: Oh, I'm Idah, Naim and Fakhri's mother.

Lily widened her eyes and looked at her from top to toe.

Idah: Naim and Fakhri's mother?

Lily and Idah sat down on their benches to talk about something.

Idah: So....how are you doing?

Lily: I'm fine but......how do you know my name?

Idah: Well.....Naim told me a lot about you.

Lily: Naim?

Idah: Yeah, he looks kind of interested to talk about you.

Lily: Oh.....Is it so?.........

Idah: Since when I got divorced to my late-husband, Naim and Fakhri aren't getting along very well.

Lily: What?! You and your husband are divorced?!

Idah: Oh......yeah...umm.....things aren't going very well with us, so.......

Lily: But, did you even think about Naim and Fakhri before deciding to get a divorce?

Idah: I did, in fact a lot of times. As far as I can tell, that's the only decision I can make.

Lily: Then what about Naim and Fakhri?

Idah: After I got divorced to my late-husband, I married to another man who I loved. And as the court's order, Naim and Fakhri are supposed to be with me. Naim accepted it half-heartedly even if he didn't like it, but Fakhri.......he can't leave his father alone.

Lily felt bad for Naim and Fakhri in a second, they started to suffer the family conflicts since they're kids. She can't imagine how hard can it be for them to digest it.

Idah: Naim and Fakhri came with me, along with my new husband to his house. Even after that, Fakhri's still yearning for his father, but I believed Naim can take care of him. But, eventually one day, he ran out of our house and.......went back to his father...........

Lily: He ran out? That too late at night as a kid?

Idah: I was quite shocked to hear that news, Naim was even bleeding at that time. I was trembling to even think about the next move, I can't.........lose Fakhri anyway, he's my son........

Idah started to cry with her head hung down, Lily immediately went next to her and rubbed her back.

Lily: Mom, calm down........

Idah wiped her tears and forced to smile at Lily.

Idah: I'm fine. After that, I had no idea where Fakhri went, I was really hoping that he's fine somewhere else. Until, Naim told me that he's studying in the same school as his. I'm happy and peace that now Naim can take care of Fakhri here. But.....I think now.........my separation with my late-husband has caused my two sons to become enemies at each other........

Lily: Mom, none of this is your fault. It's just happened in a bad time, don't worry.

Idah immediately held Lily's hands and looked at her face with a tint of hope.

Idah: Lily, I don't know what's going to happen next. If there's anyone who can take care of Naim and Fakhri while I'm away, it's you. Please make sure nothing goes wrong with them. Please........

Lily: Don't worry mom, Naim and Fakhri are in my attention now, I'll take care of them. Please don't cry.....

Idah smiled a bit and hung her head down on Lily's shoulder, she tapped her shoulder to calm her down from crying too much. When she looked up, she saw Naim standing at the corner with his teary eyes looking at them. He was touched when he saw Lily comforting his mother, he smiled a bit and thanked her from his heart.

Naim: Thanks, Lily. Only you can make Fakhri to come back to our family.

Mr. Sin was thinking about the current situation after interrogating the whole Form 4 and Form 5 who were involved in Kem Bulan Madu. He was sipping a cigar on his hand when Faniza entered the science lab with notebooks on her hands.

Faniza: Mr. Sin!

When Faniza entered the science lab, Mr. Sin immediately put down his cigar and blew away all of the smoke around there.

Faniza: It's all right. I just wanted to ask, have you found out who's responsible for the drug case?

Mr. Sin nodded his head sidely, he had listed down all of the suspects for the case but he can't figure out the actual person behind this.

Faniza: Really?......It's good, right? Maybe they aren't taking any drugs then.

Mr. Sin: All of the urine sample came back positive, Puan Faniza. People lie, Science doesn't.

Faniza sighed and looked at the whiteboard which were filled with words.

Faniza: But, what if they're not lying? Maybe they didn't know they were taking it, maybe their drinks could have been spiked. Do you know what kind of drug is it?

Mr. Sin: Grayanotoxin, it's found in a specific flower from the nectar which are not in Malaysia. That means someome went out and eagerly bought to get some all over here.

Faniza looked at the notebook and she realized something all of a sudden.

Faniza: I hope I'm wrong, but.....would the nectar of the said flower retains the substance?

Faniza said while grabbing one of the top notebook from the pile of it.

Mr. Sin: Theorotically.

Faniza: Again, I'm really hoping that I'm wrong, but........Kem Bulan Madu?

With that said, Faniza gave a notebook to Mr. Sin to see, he saw the book was filled with sticky substances on the cover, he realized it's honey, which made him come to a conclusion for the drug case.

After a while.........

Mr. Sin threw the sticky notebook on the top of principle's desk.

Mr. Sin: Did you drug the whole Form 4 batch?

The principle sat on his place while Mr. Sin stood next to him, they questioned the students who looked at his own notebook and gulped to even look at the staffs, it was none other than Kahar. He didn't know that.....he would get exposed so quickly, his mouth was trying to say something but he took it back. Now, he can't ran away anymore, he had been caught and he had to tell the truth to them clearly.
