Sophia Posey rejoins the cast of the vampire diaries for it's 6th season

Hello Buzzfeed readers! It has been revealed that The Vampire Diaries has welcomed back Sophia Posey replaying the role of Isabelle Lockwood on the series sixth season. The platinum recording artist and actress has been on hiatus for a few months after her exit from Teen Wolf. But was brought back to the vampire diaries as a fan favorite and will play the love interest of this season's newest villian, according to executive producer Julie Plec.

Sophia had exited out of teen wolf after playing stella argent for three seasons. The reason why she left the show;  whether she quit the show or was asked to leave has been topic for gossip. But we are excited to see her back to her roots on the vampire diaries. We hear the forgotten little cousin of Tyler Lockwood will be back and back with a vengeance. When asked about being back on the show Sophia's reply was; "i'm just really excited by not really nervous. i'm basically coming back to a group of people that i love and are used to."
