Mimi removed her jersey and joggers from her locker, immediately she closed the locker, she met face to face with Christy.

"I can't believe you still want to keep on attending dance classes," Christy started and Mimi rolled her eyes. Not like she posed a threat to Christy or something, why on Earth was she on her case?

"See dance classes isn't for people like you, we don't catch fun there, we work, mind you we are going for a dance competition next week and I wouldn't want you disgracing our school so it's better you opt out."

"And why would she?" Tife's voice came from the end of the locker room, Mimi turned to her with a grateful smile.

Christy folded her arms, "I never knew you were her spokesperson."

"Now you know," Tife chuckled and Christy crinkled her nose.

"Anyway, since, you're a spokesperson, you should be able to talk to her, tell her to stop wasting her time."

Tife crossed her legs as she rested on the lockers, "Are you afraid?"

Christy scoffed, "Why would I be afraid of this thing?" She dashed Mimi a disgusting look and Mimi hissed in return.

"Then you're insecure," Tife clapped, "Now, I get, you're afraid she might beat you, you're the best dancer and you don't want anyone taking it away from you right?"

Christy rolled her eyes, "Stop spluttering rubbish."

Tife pursed her lips, "Don't worry, Mimi won't beat you now but when she starts working hard, she'll surely
beat you but then who knows? Mimi might take that position from you know, if there's one thing I know about her, it's her passion for dancing."

Mimi glanced at Tife in surprise, Dancing was more of a passtime to her than a passion, Tife had only seen her dance once at home.

Christy scoffed, "You're just saying gibberish, I only came here to warn her."

"Warn her about what? To stop dancing? Stop coming to dance class or what?"

Christy rolled her eyes, she huffed and glanced at Mimi before strutting away.

"Ignore her you hear, if she tries to bully you, the music room is just down the hall, call me," she patted Mimi's shoulder and Mimi smiled at her before she walked away.

Mimi let out her breath before walking into the dance studio where she met them doing the dance warm up class according to their instructor.

Mimi was shocked to see Alex at the studio doing the warm up, ever since she'd been coming, she'd never laid her eyes on him, the only guys she knew were always present was Kingsley, Laiq and a guy called Malik from Fara's class. He winked at her and she felt like puking.

After the warm up class, their instructor explained some steps to them which would have to be done with a partner, Mimi almost passed out when she heard Alex was her partner, for goodness sake, why did she have to be so unlucky? There were other better boys and girls she could be paired with even Christy was a better option, but Alex?

He smirked at her immediately the instructor told them to line up with their partners.

"See, wherever you go, I'll always he there, it means we are meant to be right?" He whispered and Mimi glared at him. Why on earth must be partnered with a psycho?

He swirled her around and she missed her steps, she almost fell to the ground but he grabbed her by the waist, he smirked at her before the instructor appeared in front of them.

"I've been watching you since, Mimi, are you sure you're okay?"

She released herself from his grip quickly and straightened up before nodding.

"But you look pale, maybe you should take a break today whereas you're missing the steps, just take a break," she concluded and Mimi glowered at Alex before inching her way out of the dance studio, her eyes met with Christy who had a triumphant smile on her face.

She cursed Alex internally as she walked back to her class in annoyance.

"Hey," Christian called immediately she entered the class, he wanted to go out when she walked in.

Mimi looked up at him and her anger dissolved.

"Are you okay? Did anybody annoy you?" He questioned and she shook her head. They hadn't really talked since they ended their exams on Monday.

"Okay," he held the door handle before turning back to her, "You're not going for dance class?"

Mimi shook her head and he cast her a questioning look.

"Why? Is something wrong? You can't stay in class alone, there's no one here," he said and Mimi looked around the class, they were the only ones there. She knew staying in class alone would be dangerous, Alex could pop in any time and no one would be around to help her, she brought out her jotter and pen

'Can I come with you?' she gave him an apologetic look.

"I'm heading to the pool now, you can come with me, Dera would surely be there," he consented and Mimi smiled, she'd actually forgotten Dera was a amongst the swim team.

Trailing beside him, they ambled to the indoor pool, while he went into the locker room, Mimi looked around the pool, it was her first time in the school's indoor pool.

"Mimi," Dera called from afar in surprise as she walked up to Mimi while wondering why she was at the pool instead of the dance studio.

"What are you doing here? Did you miss your way?"

She shook her head before scribbling down her answers

'Something came up and I had to leave the studio'

"Oh," Dera mouthed," Welcome to our pool, let me take you around," she offered and Mimi smiled before following her lead.

***********

Christy barged into the class in rage as she walked up to Christian who was discussing with Michael and Laiq.

"What's wrong?" He asked with raised brows.

She dumped her phone on his table before standing akimbo, looking down at her phone, his eyes bulged out.

"I've always told you that Inaya girl can't be trusted, in the school of all places, she doesn't even have shame at all, she believed everyone had left the studio, good thing I went back there only to catch her kissing Malik," Christy shouted and the whole class grumbled.

Just then Inaya strolled into the class, Christian picked up his twin sister's phone and dragged Inaya out of the class.

"Christian, Christian, what's wrong?" Inaya questioned in surprise, she was more than shocked at his actions, he didn't reply her but rather kept on dragging her.

"Where are we going? Christian, you're hurting me,"she shouted and he dropped her hand in annoyance as they entered the art studio.

Inaya wouldn't deny the fact that she saw his angry look but she couldn't fathom the reason.

"What's wrong?" Inaya questioned and the pointed Christy's phone at her, collecting it from him, her eyes widened upon the picture and with impulse, the phone slipped from her hand making a cracking sound.

"You know what's wrong now," he uttered in rage and Inaya moved closer to him.

"Don't you dare move near me," he warned and she halted her walk.

"Christian, it isn't what it seems like…" she started and he scoffed.

"So, the picture is photoshopped right? You think I haven't been noticing you two, I just decided to ignore it because I trusted you," he bellowed and Inaya flinched, she'd never seen him that angry before, she didn't know when tears started building up inside her.

"I'm sorry, I'm so sorry," she apologized and Christian scoffed.

"Sorry for what?"

"For deceiving you."

He paused to look at her, she looked up at him, "Christian, I'm deeply sorry, truth is I've been seeing Malik for some time now," she confessed and Christian stared at her in shock.

"You what?"

She sniffed, "I didn't know how to tell you."

He ran his hand through his hair in frustration, "This has been going on for how long?"

She looked up at him, "Four months."

"What!" He exclaimed and Inaya swallowed her saliva.

"I…I…I've liked Malik since I got admitted into this school," she confessed and he stared at her.

"So, you've been playing all this while?"

She shook her head, "I had a crush on you after but it disappeared when we started dating, I didn't know how to tell you."

He scoffed before shaking his head, "Now, you've told me, we are ending this," he walked out of the studio without waiting for her response while the tears rolled down her eyes freely.

Christy walked into the studio alongside Mirabel and Rissa.

"Wow, wow, wow, if it isn't the slut," she mocked and Inaya wiped her tears.

"I've always known you are nothing but a gold digger, a low life idiot like you, there's no way your gutter genes won't reveal itself, anyway, I believe you know you can't go scot free with this."

"Get prepared for your doom,"  Mirabel added before they sauntered out of the studio leaving Inaya dazed.
