Cordially Copenhagen: The story so far...

After earning her journalism degree from the University of Sheffield, Rosamund Thurgood, or Roz as she is known, moved to London to try to make her way in the world as a journalist. However, securing an entry level position at any reputable media outlet proved to be virtually impossible. So the resourceful twenty-four year old picked up an evening server position at a popular Charlotte Street restaurant while creating her own food blog by day. Roz is a full-on foodie so that passion coupled with her quick wit and cleverly crafted pros instantly made her online food journal a hit - in fact Roz's food posts soon caught the eye of the editor of the blog EATLDN - an incredibly influential website that highlights the best of London eateries as well as covering trends in cosmopolitan cuisine. Roz couldn't believe her good fortune when she was offered a once-in-a-lifetime assignment by the highly admired blog. Fronting as a server, Roz began working as an undercover correspondent at a famed Italian restaurant in the heart of Covent Garden. It only took a few shifts before she befriended the youngest son, Anthony, who managed the beloved family restaurant. Unbeknownst to him, Anthony revealed some insider information, a little bit of staff gossip as well as some family secrets to Roz. While the "intel" she gathered was somewhat interesting, it was by no means overly scandalous, nor very salacious. After serving three months as a mole, Roz submitted her story to her editor, who in turn completely "reimagined" Roz's article - turning it into a sensationalized exposé about this cherished eatery. As soon as the anonymous piece came out, the restaurant's patronage completely dropped off. Roz's guilt increased exponentially when learning after two months of no clientele, this London dining institution shut down permanently. Roz knew right then that she just needed to escape London. Through a University connection, she managed to get a position on the waitstaff at a newly opened restaurant in Copenhagen. FUNDAMENT is anticipated to become the most revered restaurant of Nordic-style cuisine in all of Scandinavia. This was the fresh start Roz was looking for, and it didn't take long for her to bond with one of the sous-chefs, a Copenhagen native named Preben. He happily volunteers to be her unofficial tour guide of Copenhagen. Life is great until Anthony shows up as a restaurant guest one evening. Is this coincidence, or does Anthony know that Roz was the covert reporter who inadvertently authored the scathing article that brought down his family business?
