Third Person P.O.V

Indistinct conversations echo lightly, cars passing by on the freeway and past Krei's new campus.

"This beautiful new campus is the culmination of a lifelong dream," Krei speaks over the P.A system to the crowd. "But none of this would've been possible without a few bumps in the road."

He smiles, stepping forward, "those setbacks made us stronger. And set us on the path to a brighter future!"

The crowd cheers as he raises his champagne glass, but the uproars soon turn to screams.

"What is that?!"

"What?" Krei mumbles, looking back behind him.

"Setback?!" Callaghan repeats, a sharp edge to his voice as he descends with his Micro Bots down Krei's building.

He swoops down to Krei as people scream, Krei yelling and trying to leap from the stage as Callaghan grabs him with the bots.

Callaghan rises with Krei, his mask rising and revealing his face as he growls. "Was my daughter a setback?"

"Callaghan!" Krei breathes out in disbelief. "But you--" he pauses, stammering. "Your daughter! That... That was an accident!"

"No!" Callaghan snarls, squeezing Krei with the bots as he groans in pain. "(F/N) told you it wasn't secure. You knew it was unsafe! My daughter is gone and (F/N) was crippled his last few years because of your arrogance!"

He looks to the side, Krei following his gaze to the approaching Micro Bots carrying part of the functioning portal. On the other side more bots carry the other part, joined with another.

"What are you doing?!" Krei demands frantically, shaking his head.

"You took everything from me when you sent Abigail into that machine," Callaghan glares down at Krei with a sneer. "Now I'm taking everything from you."

The Micro Bots join the portal pieces together, activating it above the campus.

"No, no, no! You can't!" Krei watches with wide eyes as the portal begins to absorb the building, ripping it apart piece by piece.

"You're going to watch everything you've built disappear," Callaghan looks towards the demolishing building before facing Krei. "Then... It's your turn."

"Professor!" (Y/N) shouts, making him look over as the group land. Hiro and her jump down from Baymax, Hiro removing his helmet.

"Let him go."

"My father wouldn't have wanted this," (Y/N) agrees, Callaghan scowling. "And Abigail? Is this what she would have wanted?"

"Abigail is gone!" he shouts back, Hiro sighing and shaking his head.

"This won't change anything," Hiro takes (Y/N)'s hand, frowning. "Trust me. I know."

Callaghan's gaze softens for a moment as he looks between the two, Krei disrupting the moment.

"Listen to the kids, Callaghan! Please, let me go! I'll give you anything you want!"

Callaghan grits his teeth, "I want my daughter back!"

His mask lowers as he sends a wave of bots towards the group, separating Hiro and (Y/N) and Baymax from the others.

Hiro leaps out of the path, (Y/N) staggering out of the way as well and running to Baymax. She climbs up before offering her hand to Hiro, helping him up as well.

"Go for the mask!" Hiro shouts, placing his helmet back on as Baymax takes off.

He flies between Callaghan and Krei, making Callaghan send bots towards Baymax. It grabs his foot, and Callaghan swings Baymax around in a loop as (Y/N) and Hiro scream.

Baymax crashes against the building as the two go flying towards the glass, (Y/N) swiftly blasting it apart as they tumble inside the building.

"You okay?!" Hiro frantically questions as he sits up, (Y/N) groaning and nodding.

Objects inside start floating, (Y/N) yelping as she does as well. Hiro quickly scrambles to his feet and grabs her hand, gasping as he starts floating as well.

They hit the ceiling, looking at each other with wide eyes.

Baymax struggles to rise to get to the two, Callaghan using the bots to swing him back around and onto the ground.

"Baymax!" the group shout, screaming as they charge at Callaghan.

"Leaping into action!" Fred yells, breathing fire.

Callaghan waits a moment before he raises a wall of bots, blocking him from the flames.

...

"Not good, not good!" (Y/N) nervously laughs, screaming as the roof above them crumbles.

Hiro manages to grab a metal bar, grunting as he snatches (Y/N)'s wrist swiftly as she floats past him.

...

Go Go glides down the wall, dodging Micro Bots Callaghan threw her way. She gasps and yells as he traps her into a ball, her eyes widening as it closes her in.

...

Fred grunts as he was thrown aside, quickly rising and breathing fire at the bots with yells.

"Oh, no!" he groans as he was slammed against building, grabbing a piece of the metal as he was yanked back.

Micro Bots grab his arms and legs, pulling him apart as he screams.

...

Wasabi swings at bots that fly his way, gasping as the bots raise tiles of the building and press against him on either side.

He quickly deactivates his swords, straining as he presses against the bots. "Getting a... Little tight!"

...

Honey leaps over bots and uses her chemicals to weld the bots onto the ground, quickly throwing another one up to block incoming bots.

A line crashes through, making her eyes widen as she swiftly tosses a ball at her feet, forming a shield.

The bots thrash against it, Honey gasping as she avoids them as they stab through.

...

Hiro grunts as he struggles to hold on, the bar breaking and sending him and (Y/N) flying as she yells.

He spirals and manages to grab her arm back before he quickly turns and grabs the floating cord, the group panicking in their ears.

"No!" Honey whimpers in fear.

"He's too strong!" Fred grits out in pain.

"There's no way out!" Go Go's voice adds, with a tinge of panic.

"Help! I can't beat him!" Wasabi yells, (Y/N) looking back down at the trapped group.

She winces as a bot hits her face, Hiro noticing.

"Hiro? (Y/N)?!"

"Help!"

"Hiro! The bots are--!"

"Getting absorbed too!" he finishes, grinning widely. "That's it! We can beat him!"

"Guys, calm down for a moment and think!" (Y/N) orders, making Honey and the others pause.

"Use those big brains of yours and think your way around the problem," Hiro agrees, the group looking around. "Look for a new angle!"

Wasabi looks around before glancing to his feet, straining lightly to shove the boards apart before yelling as he slices through the floor and to safety.

Honey holds two chemical balls, grinning as she waits for Micro Bots to strike. She quickly grabs them when they do, laughing as it pulls her out of her shield.

...

Fred groans in pain, "my arms! They can't go any further!"

He continues to yell before his eyes snap open, his groans stopping.

"Wait a second."

Fred tugs his arms to his body, chuckling. "It's a suit!"

He peeks out of the mouth of his suit, spotting the metal piece of wall. "Hello, sign! Care to go for a little spin?"

Fred grabs the metal piece, easily spiralling it around and slicing through the Micro Bots restraining him.

"Hi-ya! Double spin!" he laughs, twirling the sign over him. "Back-to-back spin! Yeah!"

...

Go Go blows a bubble, popping it and taking her gum out. She sticks it to her helmet, flicking her visor down and catching her disc.

She grunts as she starts spiraling at a rapid speed around the sphere, her discs slicing through the bots and freeing her a moment later.

...

Baymax struggles to move as the bots lapse over him.

"Baymax!" Hiro shouts, gasping as he almost loses his grip on (Y/N).

A chunk debris flies his way, slicing his arm holding (Y/N) as he yelps in pain.

"Hiro!" (Y/N) cries out as he grits his teeth, adjusting his grip on her wrist as he looks downward.

Baymax looks up, spotting the two and zooming in. "Hiro... (Y/N)!"

The bots cover Baymax completely, when his rocket-fist bursts through suddenly. He flies out, reconnecting his fist with his arm as he flies to the two.

"Yeah!" (Y/N) laughs, Hiro grinning widely.

He lets go, grabbing both of (Y/N)'s arms and holding her close as they spiral towards the portal. Baymax flies and catches them, (Y/N) sighing in relief and Hiro laughing.

Callaghan watches Baymax fly overhead, Krei laughing. "I love that robot!"

He yelps as Callaghan sends him flying, trapping him with metal on the building before focusing on the group.

Baymax lands as the others race to join them, Hiro quickly speaking. "Okay, new plan. Forget the mask."

"If we keep breaking his bots, they'll get sucked into the portal," (Y/N) explains, Wasabi reactivating his swords.

"Now that is a plan!"

"Honey, Fred, can you give us some cover?" Hiro questions, looking over.

"Like you have to ask!" Fred leaps into the air, Honey running after him.

"Let's do this, Freddie!" she yells, tossing smoke chemical balls up as he breathes fire onto them.

"Smokescreen!"

The balls react with his flames, bursting and creating a heavy fog that covers the group.

Callaghan looks around angrily before rising up high above the smokescreen, looking up. Baymax flies overhead, Hiro smirking and (Y/N) raising her hand as her palms glow.

Callaghan sends bots their way, Baymax spiraling back up towards the portal.

"Ready... And..." Hiro starts, waiting. "Dive!"

Baymax obeys, turning back and flying downward just as he reached the portal. He holds a fist up, ramming down on the bots and sending them to the portal.

(Y/N) fires blast after blast at bots Baymax wasn't fighting, those bots also scattering and getting absorbed.

...

Wasabi runs on the ground, leaping over debris and yelping as he floats momentarily. "The gravity's getting a little weird here, guys!"

He pauses, lighting up. "Wait! Let's use this!"

Wasabi bounces from the wall, yelling as he flies towards bots and slices through them. He lands, skillfully swinging his blades around at other bot pillars. "These are green blades of fury!"

Go Go flies overhead, sliding on the floor. "Woman up!"

She bellows, leaping up and slicing upward through Micro Bots with her disc.

...

Callaghan doesn't notice the bots flying to the portal, and focuses on Baymax and the two. He sends more bots their way, Baymax punching through them and (Y/N) blasting through others.

...

"Double sign-spin!" Fred cackles, twirling metal building pieces before breathing fire onto them. "Now my signs are on fire!"

He laughs, twirling his signs as he leaps around and slices through Micro Bot pillars.

Honey shrieks with laughter as she leaps high into the air, leaving her bag against a middle bot pillar as she was yanked back down. She throws a chemical ball to her bag, making it explode bright colors of pink.

"Now that's a chemical reaction!"

...

"Back kick," Baymax nonchalantly says as he handles the bots Callaghan continues showing them with. "Knifehand, roundhouse. Hammerfist."

(Y/N) blasts at more pillars before grunting as Baymax was grabbed, Hiro bracing himself.

"This ends... Now!" Callaghan yells, raising his arm as (Y/N) winces.

Hiro simply grins as she slowly opens her eyes, looking around and laughing in relief.

Callaghan tries again, and again, to send more bots their way, to no avail.

"Looks like you're out of Micro Bots," Hiro smirks, glancing down as the smoke clears.

"What?" Callaghan breathes out, following his gaze and realizing his four bot pillars were the only ones remaining.

"Baymax," Hiro calls, making him break free easily before lunging at Callaghan.

Callaghan whimpers and blocks his face, bracing himself as Baymax's fist heads towards him. "No!"

He breathes heavily as he slowly looks up, flinching away from Baymax's fist merely inches from him.

"Oh, haven't you heard?" (Y/N) grins, nudging Hiro as he chuckles.

"Our programming prevents us from injuring a human being," he cheekily continues. "But we'll take that."

Baymax carefully removes the mask from Callaghan, crushing it as he whimpers. The bots holding the portal collapse, along with the ones holding up Callaghan. He whimpers and yells as he starts falling, the bots getting swept into the portal.

Baymax catches Callaghan just as he was almost absorbed, and flies back down to the team as the portal falls to the ground.
