Passing period between Afternoon session and Study Hall

After Floristics, Scarlett tells me what was bothering her the entirety of class. She drags me away from the crowd of people going towards their Study Hall. I was flustered by her hand in mine, but quickly hid it as I knew something serious was going on.

"Vienna is part of the Neverseen."

Okay, I was not expecting that. My confusion clearly showed on my face, as she looked disappointed in my reaction.

"You don't believe me," she says, looking down to the floor.

"No, no, I believe you," I say. "I'm just...extremely confused," I reply, trying to comprehend what she just said.

"I know I sound crazy right now, but let me tell you what I heard in the halls. Please."

"I'm listening," I say, looking her straight in the eyes.

Throughout the next five minutes, I had gone from thinking that Vienna was ditching to knowing (by Scarlett's observations) that she was secretly part of the Neverseen. Ivy is hanging out with the enemy. My breath becomes shaky for a second.

"Um..wow." I say, still processing. "I just can't believe a Neverseen member has been in our sights the entire school semester."

"Yeah, I know. Cal, do you know anybody else that has classes with Vienna? I feel like if we can get enough evidence, maybe we can catch her out. Expose her, you know?"

"Besides Ivy... Oh, I think Alexandria has a class with her. I can check with her today at her house."

"Okay, cool."

"I gotta get going, I'll imparter you!" I say as I walk backwards towards the Properties of Shapes A classroom.
