Mayu's Match & The Celebration

The women's VNL ended a lot quicker for Japan.

With their match against USA, the Japanese girls really did not stand a chance against the tall and skillful USA players.

However, they tried their best and in the end, Takumi hugged Mayu proudly, knowing that she tried her best.

"Onee-san, no matter if you win or lose, I'll always be proud of you!" Takumi said.

"Arigato gozaimasu, my little imouto-chan, I promise I'll always try my best for you," Mayu smiled.

"Always proud of you, May," Yuki said as he joined in the hug.

Mayu smiled as the siblings continued to share their love for one another.

Both of the Japan teams were celebrating at Starka | Restaurant & Vodkas. The coaches booked the entire little restaurant for the team and everyone was having a blast.

Takumi was talking to Ran as the two laughed wholeheartedly. Being the youngest two members in the entire group, they had a lot more in common than they thought.

They both liked volleyball, sushi, yakiniku, music, and so on.

"Ran-senpai! Your taste for music is so bland!" Takumi teased.

"Now what do you mean, Kumi-chan?" Ran said in mock offense.

"You better listen to some American pop, those guys really are good," Takumi said.

"I don't think I'll understand any," Ran said.

"And that's another reason why you need to learn English!" Takumi exclaimed, "everyone good is all in English and you're missing out!"

"Good point," Ran laughed, "now what artists do you recommend?"

"If you want some sad shit relationship type of songs, go for Taylor Swift. If you want any type of love songs, Meghan Trainor is the one for that. Dear Future Husband is literally the best, I think, because it shows how it's not always about the man, no offense to you though. Let me think, if you're just lonely and sad, Heather by Conan Gray does the job right. And if you're looking for more energetic songs, recommend Shawn Mendes, but don't go for Senorita, it's a bit too cheesy for my taste," Takumi blabbered.

"You really do know a lot about music," Ran chuckled.

"I do, Ran-senpai! Someday, I want to move to America, so I learned English on Duolingo," Takumi exclaimed.

"Maybe I should learn English on Duolingo as well," Ran pondered.

"You should," Takumi smiled, "one day when you properly learned English fluently, you better surprise me!"

"I will, Kumi-chan," Ran promised.

"Kumi-chan and Ran-kun really are getting close, are they?" Kiki said to Yuki as she pointed at the two youngsters, chatting their lives away.

"Normally, I would be concerned, but I don't think I am," Yuki said as he took a sip of water, "Ran-kun is eight years older than my little imouto-chan, surely they wouldn't consider a relationship with each other."

"You never know, Yuki," Kiki said with a knowing smile, "it's just like me and you now. I'm four years older than you yet I still consider to date you," she teased.

"I--well," Yuki blushed, "Four years is nothing! Eight years is when it is creepy!"

"Now what do I hear about you two dating and eight years is creepy?" Mayu butted into the couple.

"Well, we're dating?" Yuki said weakly.

"OH MY GOD, looks like I owe Takumi 2000 yen," Mayu sighed as she rubbed her temple.

Yuki rolled his eyes at his sister while Kiki stood there, quite shocked.

But Mayu then interrupted the silence again, "Well, what was the eight years is creepy I heard about?"

"Okay, so Kiki here thinks that Ran and Takumi would get together," Yuki accused.

"I mean, I don't see why not, they look good together! They would make cute and beautiful babies," Mayu said straightforwardly.

Yuki facepalmed as Kiki said, "Yah, see, even Mayu-chan agrees! Doesn't that have to mean something?"

Mayu smirked as she held out her hand, "Aniki, I bet you 5000 yen that Ran and Takumi will get together someday."

Yuki shook it, "Sure, that means I'll be 5000 yen richer."

"I'm on Team Ranta!" Kiki cheered.

" I knew that Aniki and Kiki would get together!" Takumi said as Mayu handed her sister 2000 yen.

"It's fine, Onee-san! I don't need it, keep it for yourself so just in case you're hungry or anything after practice, you have some money to go to 7-11, Lawson, or FamilyMart to buy something," Takumi handed back the money to her sister.

"Arigato gozaimasu, imouto-chan," Mayu smiled genuinely at her kind sister before she waved and left to talk with her other teammates.

Takumi then poked Ran on the shoulder before saying excitedly, "Ran-senpai, so you know Yuki Ishii? The female over there next to Aniki? They're together now!"Β

"Wah! But isn't it going to be confusing when they are both Yuki Ishikawa?" Ran asked.

"Hai, that's why we call her Kiki," Takumi answered.

Ran smiled at the girl before the two continued to ramble on about their lives.

"Look!" Yuji pointed at Takumi and Ran.

"Awwww....Yuji! Don't you dare interrupt the two!" Sekita warned as he stopped the young male.

"But they're so cute!" Yuji said childishly.

"Sometimes, I wonder if you're a five year old child, Yuji," Yamauchi sighed as Yuji playfully pouted.

"10000 yen that they will get together," Yuji bet his other teammates.

"Now what are you guys doing?" Yuki came into the group.

"Hai, captain, we're talking about our favorite couple Ranta!" Yuji blurted out.

The others could only facepalm at Yuji.

"Ran-ta?" Yuki questioned, "You mean Ran and Takumi?"

"NOOO...." Yuji said, "It'sΒ Ran Abukarat, a Israeli soccer player, and um..Taylor Swift! They were rumored to be seen with each other in California!"

"I see," Yuki said, believing the lie, "well I better get back to my Kiki."

He left the group alone before the others smacked Yuji on the shoulder.

"The heck you were doing, Yuji! Be thankful that your brain is good at coming up with valid excuses!" Onodera said.

"Hai, gomen..." Yuji laughed awkwardly but then smiled, "Well, anyone in?"

"I'm in, and I believe that my little imouto-chan will NOT end up with Ran," Yuki said from behind the group, surprising the hell out of them.

"Ehhh...captain? You were listening?" Yuji sweatdropped.

"Well yeah, you weren't being very quiet about it!" Yuki said.
