When I arrived at Chris' house his brother answered the door.

scott: hey girl come on to the back

: wait! scotty so your mom is here... and i'm nervous to meet her.

he walks behind me guiding me to the backyard where his mom, and two of chris' childhood friends are. his mom immediately sees me and walks over with a large smile on her face.

chris' mom lisa: oh hi! you are gorgeous! my son cannot stop talking about you, and i'm so glad we can finally meet!

scott: and dylan, chris wouldn't shut up all day today about you two meeting so i'm glad you've met her!... that means people can focus on me now!

i sit down and she asks me normal questions to get to know me better. nothing too intrusive. it actually wasn't scary at all. she is a sweet woman. she also told me how much chris adores me, but if he ever broke my heart, she would fight him herself. as we were talking, i could see chris over by the grill making slight glances at me to confirm if the conversation between his mother and was going well. i couldn't help but stare at his shirt raising up as he talked with his friends excessively with his hands. it was distracting, but i must've been staring for too long because chris' mom says

lisa: you must really like him,

: he is quite a distraction, your son

i chuckled

lisa: i'm glad that chris has someone as genuine as you dylan,

i smiled at her kind remark. We ended up talking for a long while. so long that chris himself had to interrupt us. i told him that i may be starting to like his mom more than him. i did end up leaving that night just because i actually had to be on set pretty early the next morning.
