Lauren POV

We all sat patiently waiting for news on Amelia. Josie showed up and walked towards us. "Hey girls. Any news?" She asked. She looked at me and I shook my head no. "Well we got Mrs. Baker in custody and Mr. Baker. They're being sentenced tomorrow." I nod my head, assuring her i heard her.

"Amelia Jauregui," a doctor said. I stood up quickly along with everyone else. "Can I get the parents please?" Me and Camila look at each other and then walk towards the doctor, following him to a private waiting room.

"Is she alright?" I ask as soon as we get in the room. The doctor has us sit down and he sits down across from us.

"Everything went good," he pauses. I watch him and feel Camila grab my hand and squeeze it. "We managed to stitch up Amelia's leg and her stomach we managed to patch it, but there was a few complications."

"What do you mean?" i ask feeling Camila squeeze my hand tighter. The doctor looked at both of us directly in the eyes.

"Blood kept seeping through, from somewhere. We couldn't really understand where it was coming from, but we finally managed to find out where. And we did manage to stop the bleeding and patch her up." He looks down at his clipboard and then looks back up at us. "She's really shaken up from the accident. I'd say no more than one person. If there's any little kids present, make sure to have an adult in the room when they are visiting. But other than that the surgery went fairly well." Both Camila and I sigh of relief.

"We can see her now?" Camila asked. The doctor nods and gives us Amelia's room number. We thank him and go back to everyone else. They all look at us, wanting to know what's going on.

"Amelia's okay," I say. "Only one person at a time can visit her. But Jack, you'll have to go with either me or Camila." Jack simply nods.

"Dinah, Ally, Normani i think it's best if you all go first and then me, Lauren and Jack will go last," Camila says. Dinah, Ally, and Normani all nod and looks at me. I nod and Ally goes first. Then Normani, then Dinah. Up next was Camila and I took Jack with me. I sit down in a chair with Jack outside Amelia's room. I wait for Camila to come out.

Just then Camila comes out and looks at me. "Jack buddy. Go on and see Amelia," i whisper. Jack gets up and Camila takes him in. I get up out of my seat and stand at the window. I watch as Jack hugs Amelia and Amelia hugs him back. It was so cute! Jack starts talking and then Amelia looks at Camila. Camila nods. I'm guessing Jack told her Camila and I were adopting him. A feel a smile form on my lips. Soon I see Camila get Jack off of Amelia's bed and bring him out.

"She's all yours Laur," Camila says. I nod and take a moment. I walk in and shut the door behind me.

"Lauren," I turn quickly and face Amelia. I "run" towards her and hug her. She hugs me back. "Are..you o-okay?" She asks. I somewhat chuckle.

"I should be asking you that, kitten," I say. She shrugs and hugs me. I sit down on the bed and keep my arms around her.

"Your fans are crazy," Amelia suddenly whispers. I break away somewhat and look at her.

"What do you mean?" I ask, laughing.

"They're outside of the hospital." I laugh and stand up, then walk to the window. I look outside and see a bunch of fans holding up signs telling Amelia to get better soon. And saying Camren is alive!. I sigh and walk back towards Amelia. I sit down and grab her hand.

"This is who you are now, baby," I whisper, with a smile. "You're going to have fans, Fifth Harmony's fans all around us." Amelia's eyes widen and i laugh.

"Is it hard? Being famous?" Amelia questions. I think a moment.

"It can be," I pause and look into her emerald eyes. "But I can't change who I am. I'm a singer and I'm changing people's lives for the better. Which makes up for it being hard."

"Lauren?"

"Yeah kiddo?" I look at her waiting for her to answer.

"I love who I am. I love you, mom." I smile and pull her close to me, hugging her tightly but making sure I don't hurt her.

"I love you too, Amelia. I love you too."
