Lauren POV

I walk out the front door with Jack holding his tiny hand in mine . I see Amelia being loaded into the ambulance and Camila standing by. Tears filled her eyes. It's killing her and it's killing me. We get Amelia back, then she's taken by the police then her adoptive mother. This shouldn't have happened. I was so stupid for calling the cops. Idiot Lauren, idiot. But I can't change it. I can't anything that has happened. God.

"Lauren!" I lock eyes with Camila and feel her wrap her arms around me hugging me tightly. I let go of Jack's hand for a brief moment and hug Camila back. We pull back and I look into Camila's eyes. "Are you okay? Did that crazy woman hurt you?"

"Yeah I'm fine Camz," I reply and feel Jack grab my hand. I look down at him and then look back at Camila. Camila's eyes land on Jack.

"Who's this little cutie?" Camila asks, trying to act like nothing happened. She bent down in front of him and smiled at him. There was sadness in her eyes.

"This is Jack. Amelia's brother," I say. Camila looks up at me and raises an eyebrow. "Adoptive brother," I mouth. She nods and looks back at Jack.

"W-Wauren, is A-Amelia okay?" I look down at Jack and sadness fills me. I bite my lip, not knowing how to respond. I answered before, but I just don't know.

"She'll be alright, Jacko," I hear Camila answer. I look at Camila and she grabs Jack's hand. He lets her. "Lauren, you should go with Amelia. I'll come soon with Jack and Dinah, Normani, and Ally." I nod and Jack lets go of my hand going to Camila. I take off and run to the ambulance. I get in once Amelia's loaded in and sit down. Medics starts working on her as the ambulance begins going rapid speed. I stay looking, staring at Amelia.

Arriving at the hospital they load Amelia out first and I get out following. A get ride by Amelia's side and see her eyes flutter open. "Amelia?" I say. She looks to the left of her, connecting her eyes with me. She reaches her hand up. I grab it and squeeze it. "You're going to be okay." She nods and her eyes close. I had to let go of her hand at the moment as they took her back to surgery. I stood there watching until I couldn't see them any longer. I sigh realizing they're finally out of my sight. I turn around and go sit in the waiting room.

"Lauren," I turn around and see Camila with Jack, Dinah, Normani, and Ally. I stand up and hug Dinah, Normani and Ally.

"We heard what happened. Are you okay?" Ally asked. I nod my head yes. "You sure?"

"Yeah, im fine," I tell her. I look over at Jack and Camila. "Camila can I talk to you?" Camila nods and whispers to Jack she'll be right back and to stay with Normani, Ally, and Dinah. Camila and I walk over to a "private" spot and she looks in my eyes.

"How's Amelia?" She asks. I shrug my shoulders.

"I don't know. They just took her back to surgery," I respond.

"Okay," Camila pauses and glances behind her shoulder, looking at Jack. "He's without parents, Laur." She looks back at me and gives me her sad puppy dog look. I bite my lip and nod.

"I know, Camz. There's only so much we can do though." Camila looks down at the ground.

"We could..." She lets her voice trail off. I tilt my head at her.

"Could what, Camz?" I wait patiently for an answer. She lifts her head up and looks into my emerald colored eyes. I look into her dark brown eyes. Always caught my eye from the first time I met her.

"We could adopt him." My mind raced with a million thoughts. She stared at me waiting upon my answer. I look over at Jack and tilt my head.

"Okay."

"Oh come on- Wait, did you say okay?" Camila raises an eyebrow. I nod my head yes and she hugs me. I hug her back. We let go. "We'll get the paper work tomorrow or whenever we can. If nothing else I can!" She sounded super excited. I give her a smile and she walks back over to where everyone else is. I follow. I watch as Camila tells Jack the great news and he hugs her. I smile at the sight of it. It's so cute! Camila with little kids. Just....adorable.
