LISA frowned upon hearing the news from Joohyun, "what did you say again?"

"The Board changed the schedule, they wanted to start the meeting at 4pm."

"Why they changed it without further notice? We already agreed to it the last time."

"Ms Lisa, it looks like they feel threatened, Sir Thomas is still in the hospital, they surely want you to take over immediately."

Lisa pinched the bridge of her nose then replied, "my father is still alive and breathing, why they can't understand that?" she said with gritted teeth.

"But they didn't think of that, Ms Lisa, this is only for me but I think they want you to take over and see you failed, once they saw it they can easily throw you out of the company."

"I know they didn't trust me, hell, even towards my father, in case they forgot my father is still alive and breathing," she replied with gritted teeth.

"I'm sorry Ms Lisa, but you really have to be here, please don't be late, if you're late they will take that small opportunity that you're incompetent as a CEO, please don't get offended by it but I always see it on their faces, they're judging you."

Lisa looked up to the sky and sighed, "fine, but you have to be here to support my excuse unnie, I'm going with you."

"Okay, Ms Lisa, I'll be there at 3, will I call Kris to take your motorbike?"

"Don't bother, I have Jisoo-unnie to take care of it."

"Okay, Ms Lisa, see you later."

Lisa nodded, "see you later," and the call ended, "fuck this," she muttered.

Lisa was ready to go back to the cafeteria when she met Jong-In and his gang halfway. Her fists were clenching while looking at them.

"What do you want again?"

Jong-In approached Lisa, his arms were folded against his chest, head tilted up and his jaw were tightened, "you must know why I approached you, Manoban, we talk before, am I right? I warned you, remember?"

"I can't stop her for approaching me."

"Then push her away, that's easy peasy, you might be good in academic but you're dumb sometimes, you know that?"

"Then why don't you put a tight leash to your girlfriend if you don't want her to approach me," and she smirk when she saw his eyes darkened because of anger.

Jong-In and his gang slowly took a step towards Lisa but some close to the higher ups stopped them.

"Yah, what are you doing to Lisa?"

They all turned around and saw Jisoo, no one dared to defy Jisoo.

"Tch! Today is your lucky day, Manoban," and he purposely bumped his shoulder to Lisa but Lisa didn't budge.

"It was not your lucky day," she replied that makes Jong-In stopped on his tracks, "you have your minions, dogs, around you, compare to me you are clearly nothing without them," and met his glare.

Jong-In just glared at Lisa then left with his gang.

Jisoo quickly approached Lisa, "hey, you're okay?"

Lisa smiled and nodded, "I'm okay, unnie, thank you."

"I'm wondering what took you so long and then I saw them."

"You left Rosé-unnie."

"Yah, she insisted, I know you can handle them but I will not defy my woman's wish."

"Okay, unnie."

"Come on now, your food is getting cold."

"Unnie, I might skip our class at 3pm."

"Why is that?"

"We originally have a meeting at 5pm but the board changes it to 4pm, just today."

"Without notifying you early?" and Lisa nodded at her, "yah, that's unfair."

"I know, unnie but I must show them that I'm not incompetent, I know my father's status, I'm afraid that..."

"Don't talk like that," Jisoo quickly butt in, and seriously look at Lisa, "your father will wake up, you hear me?"

Lisa sadly nodded, "I hope I have your courage too, unnie, but the burden were on me," and Jisoo patted her back.

"You can do it, Limario, I will not call you Limario for nothing."

Lisa smiled at the nickname that Jisoo give her, she called her Limario because Jisoo thinks that Lisa acted like a man, a brave one like super Mario so she called her Limario, Lisa plus Mario, Limario.

"Okay, unnie, thank you for your trust."

"You're my best friend, Lisa."

"I am too, to you."

"So, you already called Joohyun-unnie to back you up from the executives?"

"It was unnie who called me actually to remind the meeting when she found out and yes, she will be here later and oh, I almost forgot, I want to ask you a favour, is that okay?"

"Sure, what is it?"

Lisa fished out the key of her motorbike from her pocket and handed it to Jisoo, "can you take my bike to my condominium, just left the key to the security they already knew about me."

"Wahh, you will let me drive your super bike?"

Lisa chuckled and nodded, "I will ride with unnie, I don't know if we take long to talk to the executive for me to change my schedule, I will probably change to my work clothes."

"Ooh I wonder what you look like when you wear business suit."

"Yah!"

And they both laugh.

"By the way, why that shithead approached you?"

Lisa sighed then said, "don't tell Jennie about this."

"Tell me."

"Jong-In wanted me to push Jennie away, he blames me for ruining their relationship, he doesn't want Jennie to approach me, he said if I truly love and value our friendship I must put a distance from her."

"Yah, that's being selfish."

"I know, I wonder if he truly loves her."

"Yeah, I wonder that too, what do you think?"

"I really don't know, unnie, if ever I tell Jennie about this, will she believe me, knowing that she value her relationship with Jong-In, you know they've been together for more than a year, turning to 2."

"You had a point, but Limario, she must know about this."

Lisa shook her head, "no, unnie, let her find it on her own, I want her to see it, I'm afraid that she will not believe me anymore, you know that we're not like before."

"Okay, Limario, if you say so," and she accepted the key, "I will tell Rosé about it," and she put the key to her pocket, "come on now, cold food is not good."

"Yeah and that rhymed."

"Yeah it is."

And they both laugh, going back to the cafeteria where Rosé waited for them.

Jennie frowned because when she went to the cafeteria she didn't saw Jong-In so she ordered food for them and waited for him. She saw Rosé too in a distance but where is Jisoo and Lisa?

After a few minutes of waiting, Kai finally went back with his gangs again and she internally rolled her eyes at this, they really can't be alone and she hated it but thankful at the same time because Kai wanted to make out with her every time they were alone but she doesn't feel like doing it.

She fully doesn't trust him that way to make out with him.

It wondered her too because after a few seconds too Lisa went back with Jisoo and Rosé was scolding them and they just laugh it out. She smiled because it's been a long time since she saw Lisa smile, she misses her and it made her radiant, beautiful even.

Oh goodness, since when she fantasized about Lisa?

"Babe?"

Jennie tilted her head, "what is it?"

"Nothing, let's eat?"

"Yeah."

Throughout the meal Jennie sometimes looked up to see a laughing Lisa, mainly because of Jisoo plus Rosé. She was sad when they stood up to leave, she wondered where they will go and why the mini paper bag was on Rosé's hand? She give it to Lisa, she made it for Lisa! She stopped when she clearly heard her own words because the truth is she originally made it for Kai not for Lisa. Oh no, she clearly loses her time for Lisa, her best friend, she broke her promise.

"Babe, let's leave I lose my appetite already," and he stood without a care.

Jennie only nodded, wait, why is she following Kai again? Why it's always her to understand him? But she followed him in the end.

"Lisa-ssi, thank you for this cookies," Rosé said taking a peek at the cookies that was inside the plastic ware.

"You're welcome."

"You sure, you don't want this? Jennie made this for you."

"It's not clearly for me, don't forget that today too is her anniversary with Jong-In, I will appreciate it if it's only for me but not."

"Yeah, you had a point, the taste of it will fade because the feelings of a person that bake it will lose too, it will not tasted good," Jisoo said.

"Right, and also my doctor advised me to lessen my sugar, she doesn't want me to follow father at the hospital," and she chuckled then she received a smack at her nape and her back.

"That's not a good joke, Lisa-ssi."

"Yeah!" Jisoo agreed.

Lisa just chuckled, she was happy to have this cute couple as her friend.

Lisa bid good bye to Rosé who already know that she will be absent at 3pm class, since she was her classmate at 2pm class that just ended then she waited for Joohyun at the entrance.

Jennie on the other hand was wondering where is Lisa, she was her classmate at 3pm class, the last subject, until the professor entered the room. She was now worried at Lisa, she never misses class so where is she?

"Lisa!"

Lisa saw Joohyun and she wave at her then it approaches her then quickly handed her the paper bag which she accepted.

"I will wait for you to change."

Lisa nodded then they headed to the nearest comfort room at the executive office.

Jennie raises her hand when Lisa's name has been called.

"What is it, Ms Kim?"

"Lisa is still not here, she might be late."

The professor nodded, "okay, Ms Kim, we will wait for her for 15mins if she will not come I will mark her as absent, okay?"

"Yes, prof, thank you."

Then the professor started the lecture and Jennie couldn't concentrate she was worried and she didn't notice the ice glare that Kai given to her.

"I'm sorry if I take too long, I was caught in a traffic," Joohyun said when Lisa went out of the bathroom and was changed to business clothes, white long sleeve polo that the upper 2 buttons is unbuttoned and a black blazer covering it with the seal of BG, her flat black shoes and black slacks.

"That's okay, let's just hope that they will agree."

"Leave it to me, Lisa."

"Okay."

Then they went to the executive office.

It was Joohyun who knock and a voice of permission was heard from the inside so she opened the door and let Lisa in first then she followed.

"Good afternoon, Mr Cha, I am Joohyun Kang who sent a mail to you at 1pm?"

"Oh yeah, yeah, have a seat and Ms Manoban, you're here too."

Lisa greeted the executive with a bow then they seated at the vacant seat.

"So, what is it that you wanted to talk about?"

"As I mentioned from my email, I wanted to make a request, a change of schedule of Ms Lisa Manoban's schedule."

"Why?"

"This was supposed to be private but it left me no choice and please disclosed this matter and not let it out to the public."

"What is it?"

"Ms Lisa Manoban is the current CEO of Bruschweiler Group," and she notice his change of look and stare at Lisa and she didn't let him judge Lisa, "I know it was unexpected but she really is, Thomas Bruschweiler is her stepfather and entrusted the company to Ms Manoban, so currently she is my boss and the company had an emergency meeting right now and I needed her to be there since she was the current CEO."

"I know that her stepfather is Mr Bruschweiler but where is he, why Ms Manoban managed the company?"

"Mr Bruschweiler is in the hospital right now and been comatose for a week, even until now he was not awaken and Ms Manoban as a rightful heir of BG and had authority to manage BG in Mr Bruschweiler's absence."

Mr Cha stared at Lisa sympathetically, "are you sure of this, Ms Manoban? Changing your schedule meant of another year for you to stay here unless you will take Saturday and Sunday morning classes to prevent it."

"Yes, Mr Cha, I'm sure of this, BG is my father's first child so practically it was my elder brother if it makes sense."

"Of course Ms Manoban it actually make sense, I understand," and he sighed then nodded, "if you're really sure, okay, but you will take Saturday and Sunday classes morning."

"That'll be enough Mr Cha, thank you so much."

Mr Cha smiled, "I assumed you skip your 3pm class just to talk to me."

"Yes, Mr Cha, I did, I apologize."

"Don't be, okay Ms Manoban I will change your schedule, until when you will end your class?"

Lisa looked at to Irene then Irene answered, "2pm will be fine."

"So, we only erase your 3pm classes, from 12:45 to 2pm, that only consist of Saturday classes," and he nodded, "it will effective on Monday, Ms Manoban."

"Thank you so much Mr Cha."

"You're a good student, Ms Manoban, running after your subject is easy for you so it's okay."

"Thank you so much."

"And don't worry what I hear remains here."

And they both stood up then they bid good bye.

"Ms Manoban?"

"Sir?"

"Don't forget how big BG is, okay? It'll be times two."

"I know, Mr Cha."

"Good and don't worry whatever we talk about will remain here inside my office."

"Thank you so much."

Jennie kept looking at her wristwatch 2mins left and still no sign of Lisa so she raised her hand.

"What is it, Ms Kim?"

"Can I go out for a bit?"

"Okay, Ms Kim, don't take too long."

"Thank you," and she stood and rushed towards the exit, phone in hand.

She was now calling Lisa but it only rang, she is not answering.

"Where are you?" and she widened her eyes when she catch a glimpse of Lisa heading towards the exit of the building so she ran after her.

She only catches a glimpse of the hair but she was sure that it was Lisa entering to an expensive car followed by a familiar woman and that expensive car rode off once the woman was settled inside.

"Why are you not answering your phone?" she asked while looking at the screen, it only rang, no one answered.
