I worked on the project all night, working was a very good way to distract me from my current delusional thoughts. I went to bed very late therefore I didn't get enough sleep, I looked like crap the next morning, bags below my eyes, pale looking skin, dried lips.
*sigh*
Nevertheless I need to get ready for school, it's finally Friday, thank you Lord.
I remembered how embarrassed I was the day before so I decided to look decent today. I showered and placed my hair in a bun and took a simple sundress from my closet paring it with a strappy sandal. I applied some lip gloss trying to hide my cracking lips and put on some mascara. I was ready to leave.
I ran downstairs greeted mom, grabbed a snack and dashed through the door.

It was such a beautiful day, the birds on the tree looked attractive while they chirped away charmingly. The sun was out and the street was busy, people were walking briskly and the day looked like it was coming along great. I took the bus and made my way to the college.

Here we go again, another day in hell, I whispered as I entered the school grounds. Yesterday is in the past and am looking forward to having a normal day. I was heading to my first class where Delilah was waiting.
"Hey girl," she squealed.
"Hey you, what's poping" I replied.
We were interrupted by the sounding of the bell, everyone took their seats. The teacher walked in on cue announcing that our 1st quiz will be given out during the next class. She proceeded to writing on the board and explaining her points, midway through the lesson we were interrupted by the Principal who made an announcement.
"there have been an accident involving two of our college students and they both have been hospitalized."

I didn't really take into consideration what he was saying until I heard the name Chris!
I turned to Delilah she was facing me with shock in her eyes, not muttering a word.
"Delilah, was did the Principal just say?"
"Chris....hospitalized..... accident." She replied.

My head started spinning, I could hear anyone or anything. I couldn't breathe. Tears clouded my vision, why must everything go wrong!?!
