Hello, and welcome to chapter 2! Hopefully you all enjoyed the first chapter and are ready for the 2nd chapter. Anyways, let get to it!
                                                                           

(Y/n) POV
Your eyes fluttered open as they adjusted to the light coming through the curtains. You flipped back over and tried to fall asleep, but...

???: "It's morning, its morning, It's morning!"

You sat up and looked to where the voice came from. You saw a girl who had orange hair jumping around a guy who had black hair with a strand of pink. He looked like he hadn't sleep all night. You kinda felt bad for the guy. You looked over and noticed that jaune was already up and was headed to the locker room.

You took this as a que to get up. You stretched and yawned a bit before rolling up your sleeping bag. You put your scroll and headphones in your pocket and threw a shirt on.

You headed to the locker room to clean yourself up and get dressed. You went and took a shower, then you got dressed. You threw on some deodorant and some cologne. You combed your hair and checked yourself in the mirror before looking for Jaune. You found him at his locker putting his armor on.

Y/n: "Mornin Jaune!"

Jaune: "Morning (Y/n)"

Y/n: "How'd you sleep?"

Jaune: "I sleep pretty well. Thanks for suggesting me to sleep in my pants. Really helped"

Y/n: "Yeah no problem. Hey, I'm gonna go get some breakfast, put some cologne on and brush your hair. I'll be outside waiting for you"

Jaune: "Sure thing"

{Timeskip to after breakfast}

You and Jaune were walking to the launch area. You were talking about random stuff. While walking, you heard two familiar people call out to you guys from behind

???: "Wait up guys!"

???: "Yeah, wait up!"

You turned around and saw Yang and Ruby chasing after you and Jaune. You and him stopped and waited for them to catch up.

Yang: "Hey (y/n), Hey Jaune"

Y/n: "Sup"

Jaune: "Hello"

Ruby: "Hey guys, mind if we walk with you?"

Y/n: "Not at all, come on"

You, Jaune, Ruby, and Yang continued towards to launch area. Ruby was asking you all about your weapon, and Yang and Jaune were making really bad puns. Then, the question you dreaded came up...

Ruby: "Hey (Y/n), what's your semblance?"

When you heard these words, your mind went blank. You couldn't tell them you were immortal. You had to think of something, and you had to do it fast.

Y/n: "U-uh, my s-semblance? I-it's uh..."

Ruby: "Well, what is it?"

You struggled to thing of a good lie to tell. It couldn't be something off the wall, it had to be sensible. But, as lick would have it, you were saved by the bell.

Jaune: "Hey guys, were here!"

You looked ahead and noticed you were at launch area. You let out a sigh of relief and went to stand by a pad. Jaune stood next you while Ruby and Yang stood behind you guys. After awhile, more students started showing up.

After awhile every student was there. A quiet yet noticable chatter could be heard as you stood silently. You were to caught up in thought. You were wondering how exactly this whole "Initiation" thing would work. Your thoughts were interrupted as Ozpin walked up to the front.

Ozpin: "Hello, and welcom to Beacon cliff. I'm sure you all know that before your all officially excepted into Beacon, you just undergo initiation. This is almost like an entrance exam. Your goal is to get to the temple and collect a relic and return it. We will be watching, but we will not be able to intervene, so if you are unsure, or do not want to risk your life, now's your chance to leave."

This made a few people leave. You however stayed put. You trained for years to get here, and you weren't about to give up.

Ozpin: "Very well. One last thing. Th-"

Y/n: "Tuning him out once again"

After a couple of minutes, you had completely zones out. You were paying absolutely no attention whatsoever. That was until you, along with everyone else, were launched into the air. You panicked for a second before calming down and concentrating on how to land. You noticed a small open area that would make for a great landing area.

Y/n: "If I pull my weapon out and shoot a couple rounds towards the ground, it might slow my descent down enough for me to land right side up. That's if lady luck is on my side..."

You immediately learned that lady luck wasn't on your side as you realized you were falling faster than you thought. You tried to pull your scythe out but it got caught on your belt loop. You grunted and yanked it, unfortunately ripping your pants.

Y/n: "Well, looks like I'll have to go buy some new pants..."

You tried to fire your gun, but it was too late. You landed pretty hard, causing your spine to break. If anything it was the worst pain you had ever felt. There was only one way to fix this. You pulled your wingman out, and put the barrel to your chin.

Y/n: "Well, ain't this just a bit-"

You fired the gun, sending a bullet straight through your brain. Everything immediately went black...

General POV
   As Ruby landed, she immediately gathered her surroundings. She wanted to find Yang so they could be a team, but she had little hope of doing so. She began to run in the direction of the temple, when she tripped on a tree root and fell. She stood up and dusted herself off.

Ruby: "Ow... Really wish i would've seen that"

Ruby looked around, before hearing a rustle in the bushes behind her. She immediately pulled Crescent Rose out and got into a defensive position, ready to attack the unknown creature.

Ruby: "Hello? Yang, is that you? Hello?!"

She was about to swing when Weiss suddenly burst out from the bush. Weiss looked at Ruby with a face full of lure anger.

Weiss: "Don't attack me you dult, I'm not a grim!"

Ruby: "W-well you didn't say anything so I assumed you were"

Weiss sighed as she stood up and dusted herself off (people sure do dust themselves off alot) Weiss then looked at Ruby and walked off.

Ruby: "We're supposed to be teammates..."

As Weiss continued forward, she saw Jaune hanging in a tree. He smiled nervously and waved. Weiss sighed and turned, walking back to Ruby, and grabbing her by the hood.

Weiss: "By no means does this make us friends..."

Ruby: "You came back!"

Y/n POV
   You awoke, still lying on the forest floor. You grunted as you stood up, and stretched. When you would die, you would be out for about 5 to 10 minutes depending on how much of your aura you had left. Your body would basically shit down and restart, causing your muscles to be stiff when you awoke.

Y/n: "Ugh... Well, guess I should head to the temple"

You began walking to the temple. But unknowingly to you, someone very special was watching...

General POV
   Ozpin looked at the scroll in his hand and hummed. (Y/n) had already died once withing the first 10 minutes of initiation. Although, he had landed pretty badly so Ozpin let it slide. He then noticed a very confused Glynda standing next to him.

Glynda: "H-how did he...?"

Ozpin chuckled to himself and put the scroll into his pocket. He then turned, looking off into the forest.

Ozpin: "Something's are better off unspoken..."

(Back with Y/n)

(Y/n) walked through the woods while whistling. He had been walking for at least 20 minutes now and could see the top of the temple not too far ahead. Once he reached the temple, he noticed no one else was there. He shrugged and noticed the so called 'Relics' were just chess pieces. He sighed and went to pick one up, before he heard the crunching of leaves behind him. He turned to see Yang and Blake walking towards him.

Yang: "Oh hey (Y/n), are these the relic's?"

Y/n: "Guess so..."

Yang and Blake began talking about which one to get. (Y/n) on the other hand was changing the song on his scroll, when suddenly a girlish scream rung out. All three of them looked up to see...

Y/n POV

Y/n: "I-is that Ruby falling from the sky?"

Yang: "I uh... I believe so..."

You 3 stood quietly for a moment before you sprinted into action. You sprinted over to the temple and hoped on top of it. You then leaped off and grabbed onto a nearby tree branch while swinging hard enough to gain momentum, and jumped to th next highest branch. You repeated that action until you got to the top of the tree, which took about 7 seconds. Then, as you reached the top, you jumped and caught Ruby bridal style, causing her to blush. You immediately began falling, but you had already planned this part out. While you were falling, you reached down to your holstered wingman and fired an white dust round, which slowed you down. You did this 3 more times before landing right beside Yang, who looked amazed with the amount of talent you had just shown.

Y/n: "Alright, off ya go Red"

You put Ruby down and looked over to Yang who still looked like she was amazed.

Blake: "Did uh... Did your sister just fall from the sky?"

Yang: "Uh, I-"

Yang was cut of however, when the orange haired girl from earlier rode in on a Urdu who died as soon as she got off. A few seconds later, the black haired guy ran out of the woods after the orange haired girl, who had went and collected a chess piece.

Y/n: "Did she just ride in on an Urdu?"

Yang: "Wa-"

Once more, Yang was cut off. This time, it was by a girl who looked like a spartan. She ran in with a death stalker following her. You looked around to see that Ruby was now waving a hand in Yang's face, which looked like she was ready to explode.

Ruby: "Yang!"

Y/n: "Yang?"

Orange haired girl: "Nora!"

You deadpan looked over to the girl know as Nora then immediately looked back at Yang. She was about to explode...

Yang: "CAN WE ALL CALM DOWN BEFORE SOME OTHER CRAZY AND UNBELIEVABLE THING HAPPENS?!"

The clearing feel silent as everyone stared at Yang. A few moments passed in complete silence before another scream was heard. This time is was Weiss, who was barely holding onto a death stalker.

Ruby: "She's gonna fall"

Yang: "She'll be fine"

Y/n: "Aaaannndddd she's falling"

As Weiss was falling, Jaune jumped from a tree and caught her bridal style.

Jaune: "Just dropping in?"

Y/n: "When will you learn?"

You pinched the bridge of your noise while Yang laughed. As you were pinching your nose, the spartan girl was thrown over by the death stalker.

Yang: "Well, now we can all die at the same time. Isn't this just GREAT?!"

Ruby: "Not if I can help it..."

Ruby immediately ran towards the death stalker.

Yang: "Ruby wait!"

Ruby swung at the Deathstalker. She went to back up, but was pinned by the hood due to the nevermore throwing it's feathers at her. The Deathstalker brung its stinger up, ready to strike.

Y/n: "Dammit, guess it's time to shine..."

As the stinger came down, you ran past everyone else and whipped out your scythe. You blocked the stinger, causing a huge dust cloud to rise. Once it settled, it revealed you blocking the stinger with your scythe.

Y/n: "Now Red, I ain't saying this was a stupid idea, but you gotta learn that there's a time and a place to fight, and this ain't the time"

Ruby blushed at the comment and stared at you for a moment. You chuckled and flipped so your back was to her.

Y/n: "You can either stand there, look good and get us both killed, or you can unpin yourself. Your choice."

She removed the feather from her hood and ran over to Yang who engulfed her in a hug. You on the other hand swatted the stinger away and backed up.

Y/n: "Look, that nevermore is circling back around. You guys go ahead and go back to the cliff, I'll take care of this"

Yang: "But what about your chest piece?"

Y/n: "Take a second one with you. I don't care which one. Now go, get outta here."

You turned to look at them. They all looked very concerned for you. You sighed and pulled your scroll out. You started playing through your speakers.

(Great song for this)

Y/n: "Just go, I got this. I promise."

You took off towards the deathstalker while everyone else ran away. You jumped up and avoided the stinger. Bringing your sycthe down, you cut the stinger off making the death stalker cry out in pain. You then adjusted yourself sideways so you'd land on a tree, then you kicked off of it, landing a foot smack onto the side of the Deathstalkers head. This stunned it long enough for you to shoot it in the head, turning it into dust.

Next, you turned your attention to the nevermore that was still circling you. You fired off a energy round which fired you up into the air. You landed on the nevermore making it try to buck you off. You held on, and used your wingman to pistol whip it on it's head a few times. This was enough to stun it, which would be good, if it hadn't started spiraling towards the ground. When it landed, you rolled of and narrowly avoided the feathers coming your way. You hid behind a tree to catch your breath, but the nevermore was having none of that and shot a feather through the tree and into your chest.

Y/n: "D-dammit. M-maybe I don't have t-this... N-no! I'm not g-giving up!"

   You pulled the feather from your chest and ran from cover while firing your M600 at the beast, hitting it a few times, but not fatally. You then ran straight towards it, using your M600 to fire an energy round right into it's head, causing it to screech, then die. You were going to celebrate but collapsed due to the blood lose.

Y/n: "t-twice in 1 hour... T-thats a new record...'

With that, you passed out...
                                                                          

Well, here's another chapter for you guys! Hopefully you enjoyed! The next update won't be a chapter, but it will be more of harem/info chapter. I'll tell you guys who I plan on putting on the harem. Until then, PEACE OUT!
