Chapter Fifty Two- Rey.

I stare lovingly at my son as he sleeps soundly in my arms. A few feet away from me is Finn, who holds our very much awake daughter in his own arms. Our daughter. Our son. We have children. We're parents. I just can't seem to wrap my head around that.

A knock at the half-closed door breaks me from my thoughts.

My father peeks his head through. "Up for some visitors?"

Finn and I look at each other before answering. "Yeah, sure." I say. Just about everyone we know walks in- Jyn, Cassian, Luke, Leia, Han, and Ben, Jessika, Rose, Caden, Poe, and Lyra. They're practically giddy with excitement. I can't help but smile.

"Do they have names?" Lyra asks.

Finn smiles. "Yeah, yeah they do." he says. "Rey?"

"This little guy," I say. "Is Oliver Andrew."

"What about that little one?" Leia asks, looking at the small baby in Finn's arms.

"This," Finn says, looking at the baby then at our friend. "This is Octavia Rose."

"You named your daughter after me?" Rose asks.

"Well, of course." I say. "You're my best friend."

"And you did kind of know about Rey and I before we even did." Finn says.

Rose has tears in her eyes. "I think I'm going to cry."

I smile and Rose rushes to hug both me and Finn. "Do you want to hold them?" Stupid question. The answer is obvious- of course she wants to hold them.

"Um, of course!"

A few days have passed since the twins were born.

We're going home today, which is both exciting and terrifying. Finn dresses Oliver up in his little outfit as I dress Octavia in hers. Ben bought them back when we first told him I was pregnant and we decided then that they'd be their going home outfits.

"They look so cute," Finn comments.

I smile at him. He was so afraid of being a dad and now he can't break himself away from them. "Do you think our friends will stop by and say hello?"

"If they didn't, then they wouldn't be our friends." Finn says. I laugh.

Later that same day our friends do drop by; Since Stella's still so little, she wasn't allowed to visit them in the hospital due to the hospitals rules, but we're home now and she's going to meet her cousins.

"They're so tiny!" she squeals. "Did I used to be tiny?"

"Oh yes," Poe ruffles her hair. "And you still are."

"I'm not tiny," Stella argues with a pout, crossing her arms. "I'm Ewok sized."

I smile. "When they're a bit older they'll join you in the academy."

"They're gonna learn to be a Jedi like me?" Stella asks. I nod. "Cool! Mama and Papa have no idea how to be a Jedi... it's kinda sad."

"Well, not everyone has the force." Lyra tells her.

"And I think that's sad." she simply replies. "Can I hold one?"

Finn nods. "Sure, just... sit down, yeah, and hold you arms out, just like that, don't forget to support the head though."

Stella looks down at Oliver in her arms and smiles. "Hey Ollie, I'm your cousin, Stella."

"Awww," Poe grins. "This is so cute."

Suddenly, Oliver starts crying. Stella's big brown eyes widen in fear. She lets out a panicked scream. "He's crying!"

"It's fine. He's probably just being grumpy," Finn assures her, taking the wailing baby out of her arms. "Shhh, it's okay, little guy."

"How about you try and hold Octavia," I suggest. When Stella nods, I gently place the very awake newborn in her arms. "Yeah, there you go."

"They're so cute," Stella says, voice soft as she looks down at Octavia. "Hi Avie."

I can't help but smile watching the scene before me. Just a couple years ago I was sitting alone on Jakku waiting for my parents. Now I have friends and a family of my own. I've never been this happy my whole entire life.

I love these past two chapters because they're so fluffy but I also hate them because they're so short. The next one should be longer- I don't know yet, since I haven't started on it, but I'll try to make it not as short. Thank you so much for reading.
