Teacher Duty

It was the Hogsmeade trip during the weekend and I was told to go so I could keep an eye on the students. I didn't mind as I had always loved Hogsmeade.

I decided to go into Honeydukes and buy some sweets for myself and Minerva.

"Louise?" a voice asked.
I turned around, it was Bertie Bott.
"Bertie, it's been a while," I smiled and hugged him.

"What are you doing in Hogsmeade?"
"Well, I'm on duty to look after the students," I said.
"You were on the Daily Prophet," he said, "Ancient Runes, right?"

"Yeah, always had a thing for that," I said, "What about you?"
"Well, I created Every Flavour Beans," he said.
I smiled, "Of course, they're very popular amongst the young."

"I would have to thank you for that."
"What? Why?"
"Well, you were the one who told me to continue with my dreams in my seventh year."

I smiled, "It is a very unique business idea."
Suddenly, Eleanor Lobasca rushed into the shop with another student, "Professor, Kettletoft slipped on some ice."

"Oh dear," I said, "Maybe we can meet some other day, Bertie?"
"That would be great, Louise."

I quickly ran to the student.
"Was that Bertie Bott, Professor?" Lobasca asked.
"Yes," I replied.
"Why were you with him?" Evan Morden asked.
"He's an old friend of mine, it's been a long time since I've seen him."

The two students smirked at each other as I wrapped Kettletoft's leg.
"I can see you two smirking," I smiled.
