Percy POV-

"I'll do dishes, mom," I said after we were done eating. My mother and Paul looked exhausted, and I figured I might as well help out.

"Percy, you don't have to-"

"Mom, it's fine." I stood up and carried my plate towards the sink.

"You sure?"

"Yep! You can go to bed if you want. I'll make sure Estelle gets to bed on time." I came back and started clearing the rest of the plates from the table.

"But I don't want to go to bed! Annabeth's still here!" Estelle argued.

"You don't have to go to bed yet, but you have school tomorrow."

"And you can't tell all your friends I was here," Annabeth said looking at my sister.

"Why not?" Estelle complained

"Because, then they'll think I just do random visits to homes, this time, let's just keep it a secret, alright?"

"Okay!" Estelle exclaimed. "But you will come again, right?"

"If that's okay with your parents."

"Of course, Annabeth," Paul said. "Goodnight everyone. Percy, bed time at 10, Estelle 8:30."

"Okay daddy!" Estelle exclaimed. "Annabeth? How long are you staying?"

I headed over to the sink and started rinsing the plates in the sink.

"I'm not sure, Estelle," Annabeth replied.

"Will you play dollies with me? Or sing karaoke? Or play princesses? Or build with the LEGOs?" My sister jumped up and down happily.

"Maybe not karaoke today, your parents are trying to sleep. How about you get your dolls or LEGOs ready, come get me when they're all set up, okay?"

Estelle nodded and raced off towards her bedroom to get her toys. Annabeth headed over to me.

"Need help?" She asked.

"I'm alright, thanks." Ignoring me, she grabbed a plate and started rinsing it under the warm water.

"Annabeth, you don't need to help," I told her. "You're a guest, first off. And second off, Estelle wants you to play with her."

"Percy, let me help, please. You guys literally gave me the best meal I've ever had and I want to help out."

"Annabeth! I'm ready to play LEGOs!" Estelle called, walking into the kitchen.

"Quiet down, Estelle," I said, "mom and dad are trying to sleep."

"Okay," she whispered.

"I'm gonna help your brother with the dishes and then I'll come, alright?"

"Okay!"

I splashed some water at her as she turned back towards the sink, smirking at her. She glared at me, I could see a faint smile on her face though.

"OMG! You got my new $500 t-shirt soaked in water, you owe me a new one!" She mocked a diva very poorly.

"You could never be a diva." I laughed. "Who were you trying to mock anyways?"

"Drew Tanaka. I, for one think I did a great impression."

"I'm sure. Now go play with Estelle, she really wants you to play."

"Fine. I'll see you in a bit."

She left the room and headed towards where Estelle was in the living room. I continued to wash and dry the dishes, peering at them out of the corner of my eye. I watched as Annabeth built some amazing building and Estelle drove her LEGO car to it. She grabbed one of her characters and had them walk through the door of the place. Annabeth grabbed her own character and they started talking.

When I finished the dishes, I went and joined them.

"Percy, Annabeth's a better builder than you," Estelle said as I picked up a brick.

"Gee, thanks Estelle," I joked. "In my defense, Annabeth's better than me at everything."

"Yep," Annabeth agreed.

We played for a bit longer, just enough time for Estelle's character to rule the planet and rename it Estelleland.

"Can we watch a movie now? I'm bored," Estelle said. Annabeth and I shared a look and nodded.

"Sure. What movie?" I asked.

"Umm... I like that movie where the emperor turns into a llama, although I would make a better ruler." Annabeth and I laughed at her.

"Emperor's New Groove?" I asked. She nodded happily.

I kneeled down to look in the cabinet, trying to find the disc with the movie on it. I grabbed it and put it in the DVD player and turned everything on.

I went and took a seat next to Annabeth on the couch.

"Have you ever seen this movie, Annabeth?" Estelle asked.

"I think once with my little brothers, Bobby and Matthew. A while ago, though," She replied.

"You'll love it," I said. "It's almost as good as Finding Nemo, Finding Dory, and The Little Mermaid."

Annabeth raised an eyebrow at me and I shrugged. "It's the truth." She laughed.

I hit play as the movie came on the screen. Soon we were laughing like maniacs.

I checked the clock, knowing it would soon be Estelle's bed time.

"5 more minutes, Estelle," I said.

"But Percy." Estelle pleaded with puppy dog eyes. I had to turn away because I couldn't resist them, I'm pretty sure no one could.

"No Estelle. I promised mom and dad to have you in bed on time."

"Fine." Estelle leaned back in the couch and crossed her arms. I stood up and picked her up gently.

"You gotta brush your teeth still," I said. She wrapped her arms around me as I carried her to the bathroom. I could tell she was tired, her eyelids were drooping. The movie sounds turned off and I looked to see Annabeth with the remote. I flashed her a quick smile to say thanks and set Estelle down in the bathroom. As I grabbed her toothbrush and uncapped her toothpaste, Estelle said, "I wanna do it. Mommy taught me how last night."

I handed her the stuff without arguing and waited as she squeezed out the paste onto the brush. She started brushing her teeth. As she finished, we headed to her room, I tucked her in and turned the lights off.

"Goodnight Percy."

"Goodnight Estelle."

"Can you tell Annabeth I said goodnight?"

"Of course."

I headed back into the living room where Annabeth was back to building some amazing building out of LEGOs.

"Estelle says goodnight."

"I love your family," she said. "They're so nice."

"Glad you think so."

"Definitely better than my family," she mumbled. I wrapped her in my arms for a quick hug.

"You're welcome here anytime."

"Thanks." Just then, her phone dinged. She checked it.

"Shit. I gotta get home, Helen needs something."

"Okay. Want me to walk you out of the apartments?"

"If you don't mind, that would be great." She smiled at me and I returned it. We put our shoes back on and slipped out of the house. We waited for a cab and when it arrived she hugged me.

"See you tomorrow," she said.

"See you."

She kissed my cheek.
