"I want to help you guys."

-----

I hesitantly took him back to the ravine.

"Tommy, I need Will," I called out, moving the rickety door back over the opening.

After a few minutes, Wilbur and Tommy came up the stairs, freezing, when they saw who was standing in the small room with me.

Tommy was the first to speak.

"(Y/N) why did you bring the enemy here," he reached for the sword at his hip.

"Hey, hey, I come in peace," Quackity quickly said, raising his hands slightly, "I want to help you all."

"Why would you want to help us?" Tommy spoke, keeping his hand on the handle of his sword. Wilbur put his hand out in front of the boy signaling him to stand down.

"Shlatts just a drunk," Quackity spoke, "he's doing nothing good for Marburg, and I'm tired of it. I wanna help."

"We seem to be getting a lot of help now," Wilbur smiled, accepting Quackity's help.

"What do you mean, it's still just the five of Quackity and us," I asked him.

"Fundy came by earlier," he reached into his pocket, "and he gave me this," Wilbur pulled out a small book labeled 'diary of a spy.' If this was indeed true, then the tides of this war were changing.

We continued gathering supplies for the war. I had just got back from mining for netherite. Almost all of our weaponry was diamond or lower, which wouldn't be able to stand against Manburg's netherite. I had not got much neatherite, just enough for a few swords. Mining for netherite was dangerous and not only because of the standard ways; the nether was not free space if you got caught by any member of Manburg, they could easily catch you.

I was taking off my layers of armor and weaponry when the door slammed open. Soon after, footsteps were heard as it felt like everyone was watching to see who's footsteps were. Soon enough, a name was put to the sounds; dirty blond hair bounced underneath his hood as his mask covered his face.

"I need to speak to Wilbur," Dream's voice was stern. It was not a request, and it was an order.

"I-I'll go grab him fast," I ran to Wilbur's room to get him and get away from Dream.

"Excuse me, sir?" I knocked on Wilbur's door, "Dream is here to talk to you." I knew Wilbur had some deal with Dream, and it's how he got the TNT and rigged Marburg. Even though they were allies, Dream seemed mad, and so did Wilbur when I told him who was here. Wilbur pushed past me to the main room, where Dream sat on a ledge. I had followed close behind, staying far enough back to somewhat hide in a doorway. Everyone was out gathering materials except for Will and me.

"Dream, what do you need?"

"I've come here to tell you that I will be fighting for Marburg in the final battle," Dream spoke confidently. The battle was only in a few days, we needed Dream on our side, or we surely would lose.

"If I may ask, why are you suddenly switching sides?"

"Shlatt has offered me something that I cannot turn down."

My heart dropped. What did Shlatt have to offer that would turn Dream so fast? I felt my ears pinned back against my head as I almost shrunk into the door frame. Dream's gaze reached me. I took that as my cue to leave the room. I pushed away from the door running into our meeting room sitting at the small table. I could still hear the mumbling voices before they stopped, and a door opened and closed shortly after that. I peaked back out, seeing Wilbur pacing around in the middle of the room.

"(Y/N)!" I jumped slightly, walking into the room slowly.

"Yes, Sir?"

"I need you to get everyone gathered together."

"Are you sure that's smart right now?" I hesitantly started, "everyone is out gathering materials, and with Dream no longer on our side, we will need everything-"

"I told you to call them all here!" Wilbur shouted, cutting me off.

"Y-Yes, sir," I stumbled on my words before leaving the room. I ran back to the meeting room and started typing out a message to call the others back.
