The Next Day

Today I woke up nice and early at 6:30am,  so that I could finish my math homework. I was so excited to start my first day of class today.

It was going to be so awesome doing college math, its like a dream come true. I could wait to get there so I put on my glasses, did my hair in a tight braid and headed out the door.

My class was like 1 block from here, which means that it isnt very far so I decided to walk ,

So walked out of my dorm room and I heard some girl say " she must be a virgin " and I was thinking what! does that mean? Was that not a complement. People in college are so confusing.

Why do I feel as if everyone is against me. Maybe its because im so different

But thats okay because my grandmother always told me to ecnore the people who dont see me the way I see myself which nowadays I guess means (ecnore the haters). I really miss my family, im thinking about them more and more each day.

I think im getting home sick.

Anyways I was on my way to class. And when I finally reached my class, I was the first person there. So I sat down and my teacher asked me why I came to class so early, "Just eager to learn I guess" .My teacher looked really suprized that I said that.

As more people entered the class room,  the louder it got, 

When my whole class finally showed up, there were only 34 people. Which was okay for the first day. I was really enjoying the school part of college so far, but there were a couple of people who were distracting me, there was this sort of weird girl who had black and red hair who was being so disrespectful to my teacher and this other girl who kept on getting texts from her boyfriend during class and refused to turn her phone off.

And then there was me, everyone im my class probably thinks that im a know-it-all, which I sort of am.

Anyways, class was so much fun and I couldn't wait to get out so that I could call my grandmother again because I promised her that I would.

So I left class and started walking down the hill,  so I could get back to my dorm  to dial her number,

But before I made it some girl tapped me on the shoulder, it was the girl from my math class who was talking on the phone, 

Walked up to me and said

"Hi,  I wanted to tell you about some thing, its like a sorority party, its for our pledges. So do you wanna be a pledge for our sorority,  trust me its like super fun.
I was totally lost at the conversation,  I have no idea what a pledge was or what she was even talking about it.

So I told her that I would think about it,  and then she said "Okay see you tonight" and I was very confused. So I walked away

I had not scheduled anything so far,

I had taken 2 steps and she had came back to me,

And said in the sweetest voice "Could you Please come, I would love it if you meet all the sisters, trust me they are all super nice."

And you will get to come over to our house,  have fun and party

Then she left and I started thinking.

I have no plans tonight, maybe I should go. The meeting new people part sounds okay, but I dont like the partying,

I mean she said that they were all nice.

I have nothing to worry about.
