Chapter 5 - Getting Signed In

I got out of the train.

And all I could see was people . People walking , talking to their friends .

Here I was at the University of Los Angeles all alone . I was so confused there were too many people ( I had no idea that it would be this crowded. )

So anyways the train was so crowded . I could hardly concentrate on reading . People on the bus were singing and it was so disrespectful .

Even though it is so busy here with everyone moving around , I do have to admit this college is very beautiful . I hope the education here Is good . I was thinking about getting a math degree after I graduate or something like that .

But now im here, I need to find the office, so that I can get signed in.

So I walked up the hill to the deans office and I got signed in. And the first thing that came out my mouth was me being myself and telling her that I was really nervous , the dean was very nice, she said that it was okay that I was nervous.

Because alot of the people here were new to the college, but , she also told me that I was going to be alright as long as I stayed to myself and studied hard.

Which I know I will. And then she told me what my dorm number was and that there was going to be a thing where I meet these groups of girls and decide which group that I wanted to be a part of , which I really had no interest in.

Anyways when she was done talking to me I walked up to my dorm room, room 45 to be exact, I walked into my room and saw bright white walls and a bunch of blank space, that I needed to move into, so I took 7 loads of my stuff up to my room.

Most of my stuff was from my bedroom back at home, but I wanted to buy some new furniture.

3 hours later

I was done unpacking all of my stuff, but something was not right. It was the picture of my grandmother, I had accidentally left it in the moving truck that my father had rented for me to move all of my stuff.

So I went back outside to get the picture, because I absolutely needed it. And I saw so many people out there.

Everyone is in groups and I have no idea where I belong .

So I avoided everyone and managed to get the picture before the truck left. I wanted to get back to my dorm as soon as possible.

And when I did, I heard my cell phone ring. And I was so happy it was my grandmother, she asked how I was doing, and I answered.

Then she told me that she missed me and I told her that I missed her too. And then she told me that she was so proud of me and to try to meet some new people, so I promised that I would and I told her that I would call , her when I had time.

And I spend my whole night thinking about my grandmother, my father and my mother, I miss them so much, I have no idea how im going to get through this year.
