Chapter 10

Dumbledore tried to prize Harry from Cedric's body. "Tell me what happened!" He demanded to the older sibling.

"He's back, he's back! Voldemort's back. Cedric, he asked me to bring his body back. I couldn't leave him, not there." The two yelled in sync scaring the older men.

"It's alright Harry. It's alright, he's home, all three of you are."

"It hurts!" Olivia screamed as someone tried to move her.

"Keep everybody in their seats. A boy has just been killed. The body must be moved Dumbledore, there are too many people." Snape and Amos ran over to the fallen champions.

"Let me through! That's my son! My boy!" Amos broke down wailing. The crowd looked on distraught.

Harry walked over to a sobbing Olivia. Snape looked at his daughter, his body frozen. The same man tried to pick Olivia up and she screamed out in pain. "Take your hand off her." The man looked at Snape and backed up.

Snape was the only one that could pick up the sobbing child without her screaming.

---

Mad-Eye Moody entered and closed the door behind him. Harry was in the room still sobbing. The two sat down. "Are you alright Potter?" Harry nodded and kept his eyes on his hands. "Does it hurt?"

"Not so much now." Harry covered his wound, he looked over to his left side forgetting that Olivia was not with him.

"I'd better take a look at it." Harry's arm had a skull and snake marking.

"The cup was a portkey. Someone had bewitched it." Harry told Moody who looked up form Harry's arm.

"What was it like? What was he like?"

"Who?" Harry asked not liking Moody's question.

"The dark lord. What was it like to stand in his presence?"

"I dunno. It was like I'd fallen into one of my dreams. One of my nightmares." Mad-Eye started shaking and struggling for air, he reached for his bottle, but it was empty. He rushed to a chest with other bottles and struggled to find one.

----

Olivia laid in a bed with a cast on her right arm, a bandage cover her cut on the left, and a cast going above her knee on the left leg. Her eyes were swollen from crying and her head was pounding from a massive headache.

Snape sat next to his daughter and watched her. "He was going to kill me." Her eyes were wide with fear, but they also looked hollow. Olivia looked like a shell of the person that she once was.

-----

"Were there others? In the graveyard, were there others?" Moody seemed very adamant to get answer from Harry.

"Um. I don't think I said anything about a graveyard Professor."

"Marvellous creatures dragons aren't they? Do you think that miserable oaf would have led you into the woods if I hadn't suggested it? Do you think Cedric Diggory would have told you to hold the egg under the water if I hadn't have told him first myself? Do you think Neville Longbottom the witless wonder could have provided you with gilliweed if I hadn't have given him the book that led you straight to it? Huh??"

"It was you from the beginning. You put my name in the goblet of fire. You bewitched Krum. But." Mad-Eye made sobbing noises making fun of Harry's little sister.

"You won because I made it so Potter. You ended up in that graveyard tonight because it was meant to be so. And now the deed is done. The blood that runs through these veins runs within the dark lord. Imagine how he will reward me when he learns that I have once and for all silenced the great Harry Potter. But it is a disappointment that Olivia lives.

The Dark Lord wishes her dead so he has his favorite Deatheater back. All though Olivia is in a great deal of pain. Broken ribs, arm and leg!" Moody laughed and leaned back. "She will be bed ridden for weeks!" A flash of magic occurred and Mad-Eye is knocked into the wall. Dumbledore and Severus came rushing in. Dumbledore took Mad-Eye by the neck.

"Severus." Severus administered some veritaserum. Mad-Eye wriggled demonically. Olivia hobbled in and stood next to her brother.

"Olivia!" Harry whisper screamed and Olivia sent his a smile, but it didn't seem the reach her eyes.

"Do you know who I am?" Dumbledore asked harshly.

"Albus Dumbledore."

"Are you Alastor Moody? Are ya?" Olivia leaned on Harry who took most of her weight.

"No." Olivia kept an eye on her father, he was a ball of burning madness.

"Is he in this room? Is he in this room?" Olivia saw a nod and the two walked over to the chest.

"Harry, Olivia get away from there!" Dumbledore approached the chest. The chest opened, it contained a series of smaller chests. When the final chest was opened they all saw that there was a pit within holding a man the real Alastor Moody. "Are you alright Alastor?"

"I'm sorry Albus."

"That's Moody, but then who's?" Dumbledore held up one of Mad-Eye's Bottles.

"Polyjuice potion." Olivia said as her father walked over to her. So she leaned on him rather than her brother.

"Now we know who's been stealing it from your store Severus." Dumbledore looked into the pit.

"We'll get you up in a minute." Alastor Moody groaned. The Mad-Eye Moody they had captive in a chair began to twitch about restlessly making strange noises. He appeared to be transforming. He ripped off his fake eyepiece which fell on the floor, they saw that he'd transformed into Barty Crouch Junior.

"Barty Crouch Junior."

"I'll show you mine if you show me yours." Barty Jr rolled up his sleeve to reveal a skull and snake marking.

"Your arm Harry."

"No, not him the girl. You know what this means don't you? He's back. Lord Voldemort has returned." Olivia pulled her sleeve up to reveal words carved into her skin. She pulled her sleeve down and Barty Jr smirked.

"Send an owl to Azkaban, think they'll find they're missing a prisoner."

"I'll be welcomed back like a hero." Barty Jr was grinning like a madman.

"Perhaps. Personally I've never had much time for heroes." Dumbledore told the young man, but Olivia didn't understand that. He wanted Harry and her to become hero's?

———

Dumbledore stood in front of the whole school, speaking to all pupils. "Today we acknowledge a really terrible loss. Cedric Diggory was as you all know, exceptionally hard working, intricately fair minded. And most importantly a fierce fierce friend. I think therefore you have the right to know exactly how he died. You see, Cedric Diggory was murdered by Lord Voldemort.

The ministry of magic does not wish me to tell you this. But not to do so I think would be an insult to his memory. Now the pain we all feel at this dreadful loss reminds me, reminds us that while we may come from different places and speak in different tongues, our hearts beat as one.

In light of recent events the bonds of friendship we made this year will be more important than ever. Remember that and Cedric Diggory will not have died in vain, you remember that. And we'll celebrate a boy who was kind and honest and brave and true right to the very end."

----

Harry was sitting on a bed, Dumbledore walked in. "I never liked these curtains. Set them on fire in my fourth year, by accident of course. I put you in terrible danger this year Harry, I'm sorry."

"Professor, it is my sister that you need to apologize to. And when I was in the graveyard there was a moment, um, when Voldemort's wand and mine sort of connected."

"Priori Incantatem. You saw your parents that night didn't you? They reappeared." Harry nodded and looked behind Dumbledore.

Dumbledore turned and saw Olivia walk in using crutches. "No spell can reawaken the dead Harry I trust you know that. Dark and difficult times lie ahead. Soon we must all face the choice between what is right what is easy. But remember this, you have friends here. You're not alone."

----

There was a large crowd gathered, the pupils were going home. Viktor Krum gave Hermione a kiss and handed her some paper. "Write to me. Promise." Everyone could tell that he truly liked Hermione.

"Bye." Ron was sitting alone. The french sisters approached him, they both in turn gave him a kiss on the head.

"Au revoir Ron." The Beauxbatons pupils left in uniform, the crowd applauded. The Durmstrang students left too, shaking hands as they went.

"Do you think we'll ever just have a quiet year at Hogwarts?" Ron asked and Olivia snorted and Harry rolled his eyes.

"No." The two girls said at the same time.

"No I don't think so." Harry sighed and watched as everyone started to leave.

"Everything's going to change now isn't it?" Hermione asked and the siblings got a look in their eyes.

"Yes."

"Promise you'll write this summer. All of you." Olivia nodded and smiled as Draco walked over. He pulled her to his chest and kissed her forehead.

"Well I will. You know I will!"

"Harry will, won't you?" Harry nodded and smiled.

"Yeah. Every week." They looked over the balcony, the flying horses pulling a carriage head off into the distance. The Bulgarians' ship went underwater.
