Today I turned sixteen. Technically it was yesterday, now that it's past midnight, but whatever.

It was a pretty good day. I got all the bacon to myself this morning, plus two waffles. My sister got me the new Dan+Shay album, Obsessed. My parents got me this fancy Canon camera, so that's cool.

For lunch I went to Culver's and that was nice bc it's my fav and I hadn't been there in a really long time. Then I opened presents at my grandma's.

She got me the entire Selection series by Kiera Cass (minus The Crown, bc I already have that and I told her not to get it). She also got me The Perks of Being a Wallflower (book and movie), and the Me Before You book.

After that I went shopping with my parents at the Christian bookstore, where I got the Bethel cd I've been obsessed with for the past two weeks. It's called We Will Not Be Shaken, and every song on the entire album is amazing. I also got Phil Wickham's newest album, and the first God's Not Dead movie. We went to a few stores in the mall, too, namely the St. Louis Dugout (to see how much a Matt Carpenter jersey would cost), rue21, Bath and Body Works, and Claire's. I almost bought a necklace from Claire's, but apparently my gift card wasn't in my purse somehow so I decided not to get it. I didn't end up buying anything at all the mall, but that's okay cuz I got stuff at the bookstore.

Apparently my parents are saving my dad's old iPhone 5 for me. It was gonna be for my sweet sixteen, but we can't really afford to pay for another phone right now. So I'm waiting a little while until we can.

It shouldn't be too long, considering I'm applying for a job at Taco Bell soon. I was gonna do it today, but we weren't very close to home most of the day, and I'm applying to the one by my house. They have open interviews from 3-5 on Tuesdays. So anywho, I'll be applying next week, probably, and I really hope I get the job. You know how much I love Taco Bell... Plus, the sooner I make money, the sooner I can pay for the phone! And also a 90-dollar Matt Carpenter jersey, which is a must have. Please pray that I get the job! And that if I do, my coworkers are nice...

I didn't really know what I wanted to do in the evening but I ended up staying the night at my grandma's, which is where I am now.

Oh, I forgot to mention, my aunt and cousin got me Endless Weekend perfume and hand sanitizer from Bath and Body. Good thing I didn't buy any at the mall, bc I almost did. I asked for that scent cuz it's my absolute faveee.

But yeah, me and my grandma watched Hallmark mysteries and then I took selfies for twenty minutes (literally), and now here I am.
