'Why am I here again...?'

The sky had turned dark around Tenshukaku as we ran up the many stairs. I had agreed to come along, but I completely forgot why I decided to go. There were only a bit more stairs when the traveler and Paimon came into view. The traveler looked unsteady on their feet and looked as if she had seen a ghost. The two smiled when they saw us and I ran forward to meet them. Behind the traveler, a large cut appeared in the sky and the Shogun came out preparing her Musou no Hitotachi.

Instinctively, I grabbed the traveler's hand and pulled them back a bit. Even then, I wouldn't be able to help them in any way. There was a loud sound and I closed my eyes shut.

In front of us was none other than Kaedehara Kazuha, blocking the Shogun's attack. Sparks of electro followed with anemo. The Shogun was caught off guard, but quickly pushed Kazuha back. Shouts from the resistance followed and the traveler disappeared into the Shogun's bubble.

I took one last glance at my little home in Konda Village and turned to Ritou. Heizou followed next to me, but this time, he was silent.

"Come on, detective Heizou. What happened to all your teasing?" I nudged him.

"Are you really going to go back to Liyue?"

I sighed and nodded. After my time with the resistance, I decided to go and live a "life of wandering" as Kazuha says, just for a little bit. I also wanted to visit my old home once more and maybe go visit other nations if I ever feel like it.

"Well, if that's what you've decided, then I won't stop you. You should come back and visit at least a few times though or I'll come and find you myself!"

We laughed and continued our usual jokes until we reached the docks. Right outside the Crux was Captain Beidou and Kazuha waving towards us. I waved back and turned to Heizou again with a small mischievous grin.

I ruffled his hair and laughed. "See you in a few months or so!"

"Hey- Why does it feel like you're babying me?! I'm older, you know?"

"Sure. Whatever."

I got onto the ship with the others and waved to Heizou. To the side, was Sara who smiled at me. The two waved as the ship began to leave the docks.

"Bye, Y/n!"

(No one's POV)*

After reaching Liyue, the Crux made a stop at Guyun Stone Forest. Kazuha rested at a high place and quietly watched Y/n's eyes glimmer with excitement. Despite having lived about 12 years of her life in Liyue, she has never been to places other than the path from Qingce Village to Liyue Harbor.

Beidou, upon realizing Y/n's curiosity, allows her to go on a waverider to get to the large mountains. From above, Kazuha could hear her shouts asking him to come along. He chuckled before jumping down and following Y/n.

On the sandy beach of Guyun, Y/n took off her shoes (and socks) and walked into the warm water. Unlike Inazuma, where there had been constant storms or lots of clouds, Liyue was almost always filled with sunny days.

"Hey, Kazuha? What do you think I should do now that I'm in Liyue?" Y/n asked, splashing the surrounding water.

"Well, we could do some exploring or visit some popular tourist spots."

"Hm... we could. Wait- we?"

Kazuha seemed surprised by her answer and laughed. "Of course we. Did you think I wouldn't come along?"

"I assumed you would be busy."

"Do I seem like a busy person to you?"

A friendly argument began, but it was mostly Kazuha asking questions that Y/n would have a hard time coming up with comebacks for. After a while Y/n flopped down next to Kazuha on a warm rock.

"You can get on my nerves sometimes."

Kazuha hummed in reply. He held a starconch in his hand and was throwing it up and down, catching Y/n's attention. She lazily watched the starconch being thrown into the air. Suddenly she quickly stood up, put on her shoes, and began running up the mountain. Completely stunned by her actions, Kazuha dropped the starconch and hurriedly followed after Y/n.

'It seems like I'm always chasing after you these days.'

Y/n stood at the very top of Guyun Stone Forest and the wind brushed against her figure. Kazuha, who had just caught up, stood behind her. She turned around and with a smile that displayed a large amount of trust, she proudly declared,

"If you're coming with me, I'll make sure you follow me til the end, Kaedehara Kazuha!"
