"I was in a fuge state, which is basically the doctor's why of saying we don't know why you don't remember running around for two days or what was happening to you." Lydia said has we walked into school.

"You really don't remember?" Allison asked looking at both me and Lydia.

"No, but I lost nine pounds." She said and we walked into school.

"And at least my aunt didn't kill people." Lydia said and walked in behind us. Everyone stopped and looked at us.

"Maybe it's the nine pounds." I said trying to lighten the mood. Lydia shook it off and walked past all the people who stopped and while me and Allison looked at each other.

"So do you know if Jackson changed last night?" Allison asked me. I shook my head.

"Derek said he would of come to us. He's confused on why he didn't show up or on why we didn't hear from him." I said walking with her to class. When we got in the chemistry Mr. Harris had a test on each of our desks. Half why during the test Jackson walked out the classroom with black blood going down his neck.

"What was that?" Allison whispered over at me.

"Black blood." I said smelling the air around me and catching Derek's sent.

"What does that mean?" She asked looking over at me.

"His body is fighting the infection." I said and the bell rang. I walked out of the class and into the library and saw Erica talking to Boyd. I waved at both of them and went over to them.

"Hey Erica, Hey Boyd." I said while sitting down by them.

"Hey Em. Boyd this is my other friend I was talking about Elena." She said looking at Boyd and I.

"Nice to meet you. I have to go." He said and gave Erica a hug. I noticed something about them, if Erica changed, she would want Boyd to change with her. That would be three, Derek would have his pack and they would feel better about them selves and I would feel comfortable being around them and keeping them safe.

"Ummmm.......Elena, are you listening?" Erica asked snapping me out of my thought.

"Oh...I'm ok, what's wrong?" I asked and I saw her pointing at someone behind me, I looked behind me and saw Simon staring at us.

"Oh my god." I whispered and prayed he would walk away, but he didn't he walked over to us.

"Hey Elena and.......friend of Elena." He said acting not sure what to say when he looked at Erica. She just shrugged in off and went back to studying.

"What can I do with you?" I asked praying something or someone would come to my rescue, but Scott and Stiles were in class, Allison couldn't really kill him, Lydia didn't know she was getting me involved with a psychopath, and Issac wasn't allowed back at school yet, so I had no one.

"Oh you know making sure you're OK and everything." He said holding my shoulders. I had a feeling he was being mean to Erica without really saying anything to her face.

"We're ok trust me." I said moving his arms away from me. I got up and grabbed my bag and gave him a look.

"Hey, do you want to have that girl day after school today?" I asked turning back to Erica. She nodded and I smiled at her knowing this was going to be fun. At the end of the day we walked to my house and talked about how things have been.

"So what's up with you and the Simon guy?" She asked has we got into my room.

"Ummm........I don't like him, but he thinks I have this huge crush on him and I'm playing hard to get." I said going through my movies trying to find a good one to watch.

"So any guy?" She asked walking over to me and helping me pick out a movie.

"Yeah.....He's hard to explain, but he's great." I said putting in the Notebook into the DVD player. After three sad movies and Scott coming in three times asking what we're doing, mom came in and looked over at us.

"Hey girls, I was wondering if you guys would like something to eat?" She said coming over and seating on my bed. We both nodded and she went back downstairs.

"So you staying over?" I asked looking at her.

"If you want me to." She said smiling at me. That was always our thing, she knew I knew she could stay over and she loved staying over here.

"Ok then my child." I said has my mom walked in with pizza and two bottles of sweet tea. We thanked her and ate our food. Sometime after that we both pasted out on my bed.
