Chapter 7: The Bullies

Rei had just finished her morning classes when she received a message from a group of students she had helped during the terrorist attack at their school. They wanted to meet with her during lunch to express their gratitude.

Rei was hesitant at first, not wanting to draw too much attention to herself. But the students insisted, and she eventually agreed.

As she made her way to the meeting spot, Rei couldn't help but feel a sense of nervousness. She wasn't used to being thanked for her actions, and she wasn't sure how to respond.

When she arrived, she was greeted by a group of students who were all smiling and thanking her for what she had done. They talked about how scared they had been during the attack, and how grateful they were for her bravery.

Rei listened to their stories, feeling a sense of warmth and pride. She was happy to have helped, and she was glad that the students were safe.

But their conversation was interrupted by a group of bullies who had been tormenting the girls since middle school. The bullies had heard about the meeting and had decided to show up and cause trouble.

The girls were frightened and started to back away, but Rei stood her ground. She could feel her anger rising, and she knew that she had to do something.

The bullies approached, their expressions twisted in anger. "What's going on here?" one of them asked, his voice dripping with sarcasm.

Rei stepped forward, her eyes blazing with fury. "You need to leave these girls alone," she said, her voice firm.

The bullies laughed, not taking her seriously. "And what are you going to do about it?" one of them taunted.

Rei didn't hesitate. She drew her red katana and charged towards the bullies. They were caught off guard, and Rei was able to disarm them with ease.

The bullies were stunned, and they retreated quickly. Rei stood there, her katana still in her hand, breathing heavily.

The girls were amazed. They had never seen someone stand up to the bullies before, and they were grateful for Rei's bravery.

"Thank you so much," one of them said, her voice filled with emotion. "We've been so scared, but you made us feel safe."

Rei smiled, feeling a sense of pride. She was happy to have helped, and she knew that she had made a difference.

As the girls thanked her and made their way back to their classes, Rei couldn't help but feel a sense of satisfaction. She had been able to help those in need, and she had stood up to those who were causing harm.

But she also knew that there was still much to be done. The city was still dangerous, and there were still people who needed her help.

Rei knew that she had to be ready for anything. She had her powers, her red katana, and her determination. She was ready to face whatever came her way, no matter how dangerous or frightening it may be.
