Chapter 10: The Voice of Karasu

Rei had been diligently practicing with Karasu for weeks now. Every day, after school, she would go to the nearby park and train with her red katana. She had become increasingly comfortable with her weapon, and her movements were now more fluid and graceful.

However, Rei realized that Karasu was not just about physical skill. The mask, red eyes, and the whole persona of Karasu needed a voice that would instill fear in the hearts of her enemies. She needed to sound intimidating, yet cool at the same time.

Rei knew that her voice was not the most impressive, so she decided to experiment with different tones and pitches. She would speak out loud and test her voice until she found the perfect one.

One day, she was in the park practicing her moves when she decided to give Karasu a voice. She took a deep breath and tried to channel all the fear and power that she wanted Karasu to represent.

"Who dares to stand against me? I am Karasu, the harbinger of justice. You will know the wrath of my blade," she said, her voice deep and commanding.

Rei was surprised at how good she sounded. She tried again, this time with a higher pitch.

"Fear me, for I am Karasu. Your time has come to face the consequences of your actions," she said, her voice sharp and piercing.

Rei continued to experiment with her voice until she found the perfect one. It was deep, but not too low, with just the right amount of intimidation and coolness.

She felt a sense of satisfaction wash over her. She had finally found her voice for Karasu. It was time to take her training to the next level.

As she continued to practice, Rei realized that her confidence had grown immensely. She felt more in control of her powers and abilities. She was now able to hold back when necessary, and let loose when the situation called for it.

She had also made some new friends in school who she could trust. They didn't know about her powers, but they were there for her when she needed them.

Rei was grateful for everything that had happened to her. She had discovered her powers, found a purpose, and had a newfound confidence in herself.

As she put away her red katana and mask, Rei looked up at the sky and smiled. She knew that she still had a long way to go, but she was ready for whatever lay ahead. Karasu was ready too.

As the night grew darker, Rei felt the urge to test her skills and put her powers to use. She donned her red demon mask and eye contacts, feeling the adrenaline rush through her veins as she headed out into the city.

She kept an eye out for any signs of trouble, listening closely for any sounds of distress. It didn't take long before she heard a commotion coming from a nearby convenience store. She dashed towards the store and peered through the window to see a man with a gun demanding money from the cashier.

Rei took a deep breath and braced herself. This was her chance to finally put her training to the test. She kicked the door down with a loud bang and rushed towards the robber. The man turned around, startled by Rei's sudden appearance.

"Who the hell are you?" he demanded, pointing his gun at her.

Rei didn't flinch. She stood her ground and glared at him with her fierce golden eyes. "I am Karasu," she said, her voice low and intimidating.

The robber hesitated for a moment before pulling the trigger, but Rei was too quick. She dodged the bullet and launched herself towards him, delivering a swift kick to his wrist, causing the gun to fall to the ground. She then delivered a powerful punch to his stomach, knocking the wind out of him and causing him to collapse on the ground.

Rei quickly tied him up with some rope she had brought with her and called the police, staying with the cashier until they arrived. The police were shocked to see the young girl standing over the subdued robber, but they were grateful for her help in apprehending him.

Rei smiled to herself as she walked back home. She had finally put her powers to good use and helped someone in need. She knew she couldn't go around stopping every crime she saw, but she felt a sense of satisfaction knowing that she had made a difference, no matter how small it may have been.

As she took off her mask and eye contacts, she thought about how far she had come. From a shy and introverted girl to a confident and powerful hero. She couldn't wait to see where her journey as Karasu would take her next.
