Jake stood up from his bed, a mischievous plan in mind as he got up and exited the house swiftly. The Australian strolled down the streets, enjoying the music he was playing in his earbuds. The walk was quick, he entered the small convenience store in search of a bag of ice. He had decided to prank his members, it would be a one-at-a-time prank, but worth it. It wasn't anything elaborate either, he would just be pouring ice water on the members during their showers, it's unexpected and it's also funny as hell. It wasn't long until Jake found what he needed and stopped at the noise coming from outside. 

Jake watched as the rain began to pour heavily outside. Jake looked back and forth between the one-pound bag of ice and the rain, he sighed and placed the bag back, "It'll melt by the time I get back anyway," Jake thought, feeling sad. He began searching the store in hopes of finding an umbrella or poncho, and to his dismay, neither was present in the store. Jake quietly groaned in frustration as he decided to go home in the rain. He left the store and tried his best to avoid the rain. "Ugh, I wish I could just take a bus..." Jake thought as he speed walked through the rain, being an idol had its downsides at times.

It was about 15 minutes later when Jake finally opened the door to the dorm, not a member in sight. He sighed and walked over to his and Heeseung's shared room, the older one already asleep. Jake sighed as he looked around, "God it's cold..." Jake whispered to himself before finding some dry clothes. Jake changed and got under his covers, he smiled as the duvet engulfed him in warmth. 

The next morning was rough as Jake woke up and groaned. "Ew..." he said as he sat up from his bed, turning off his alarm. He put his palm to his forehead, retracting his hand not long after, his hand now being laced with sweat. Jake sighed as he left for the restroom in search of a thermometer. He soon found the item and took his temperature, "38 C" (100.4 F) it read. Jake's eyes widened as he stared at the number. He sighed and looked around for some Mucinex, and unfortunately, they were out. Jake gave up and left back to his room to get ready, they had quite an amount of things to do that day. 

Jake walked out of his room to be greeted by Jungwon who was happily humming in the kitchen. The younger looked up, noticing Jake's presence, "Good morning Hyung," Jungwon said turning back to his phone. "Good morning," Jake said back, rubbing his eyes. Jungwon's eyes drifted to Jake, "You good?" Jungwon asked the latter, who seemed overly tired. "I don't think so, I might've got a cold or something," Jake said, blowing his nose. "Are you sure? What did you do to even catch one anyway?" Jungwon asked in suspicion. "I was going to buy something at a convenience store yesterday and it started raining while I was inside and they didn't have any umbrellas so I just walked home in the rain," Jake admitted. "Well we have a lot to do today, so you'll have to wait until tomorrow before we can sort it out or anything, I'm not completely convinced you're sick yet," Jungwon said before leaving to wake up the rest of the members. 

Jake sighed, "I was scared this would happen," Jake thought as he sat on the couch. It wasn't long before the rest of the members were up and soon being ushered into the car. In the back, were Jake, Heeseung, and Sunghoon, the middle had the Maknae line, and Jay sat in the front, chatting with the manager. Not much was said during the car ride. "Hey, are you ok?" Heeseung asked, turning his head to Jake. "Yeah, just a little sick?" his statement coming out more like a question. Heeseung shrugged and went with. It wasn't long after that they arrived at the area they were filming the interview. Jake sighed as they all began to exit the car, Jake being the last out. "Hey, are you ok? You sound sick, and kind of look it too," their manager asked Jake as he hopped out of the car.

"I think I might be a little sick but I'm fine," Jake said smiling. "If it gets worse tell me, ok?" the manager said in a serious tone. "Yes sir," Jake said before leaving to catch up with the rest of Enhypen. The interview was outside, and it was a particularly hot day in Seoul, it being summer of course. After they finished, the manager spoke, "Alright, load the car," he said as the members began to disperse towards the car. He put a hand on Jake's shoulder, who was just standing there. "Hey, are you ok?" the manager asked, obviously concerned. "Yeah... Um.. just a-a little dizzy.." Jake said putting a hand to his head. "I'm going to check your temperature when we get there, and depending on that, I might take you back to the dorms," the manager said, walking Jake to the car, not letting him protest. 

The drive was quiet, the Maknae line now in the back, and 3/4s of the Hyung line in the middle. It wasn't long until the manager was ushering the group out of the car, and keeping Jake behind. The manager looked down at the beeping thermometer, his eyes widening. "Get back in the car," he said walking back to the driver's side. "What was it?" Jake asked, sitting in the passenger seat. "39 C" (102.2 F) the manager said as he turned on the car and texted the Enhypen leader. "Oh..." Jake said as the car fell silent, guilt overwhelming the Australian. 

It didn't take long for them to reach the dorms, "Go inside and rest, you're sick, eat some warm food and keep track of your temperature, ok?" the manager said, looking Jake dead in the eyes. "Yes Hyung," Jake said, then leaving the car. Jake soon found himself eating ramyeon at the counter, thinking upon the day. He took out his phone and skimmed his messages, mostly just Jungwon saying he was sorry and to take care until they got home. Jake shrugged and reassured the younger through text before sighing and finishing his food, then deciding to go to bed after that.
