"Look at that." Cole says as the boat stops at the island.

"Welcome to the island of Chen. The Tournament of Elements welcomes its brave fighters. Master Chen will be pleased you've returned sensei Garmadon." Clouse says as he gets off the boat with Garmadon.

"There's some definite tension between that guy and your dad." Alexis says as Lloyd looks at her.

"Yeah I know. Let's just keep our guard up for now. Come on." Lloyd says as Alexis follows him off the boat.

*Timeskip*

"Your Harmony suite master Alexis." A woman says as she brings Alexis to her room before leaving as Alexis goes inside seeing a silver and light purple decorated room.

"Whoa. It's beautiful in here. I can even watch the night sky." Alexis says as she goes outside on the balcony and looks up at the sunset.

"Not as beautiful as something else." A voice says revealing to be Lloyd on a balcony next to her.

"Lloyd." Alexis says as she smiles.

"At least I can still see my girlfriend.. Even if it is on a balcony." Lloyd says as Alexis giggles slightly.

"I don't know. I think it's kind of romantic... You have new gi. It looks good on you." Alexis says as she notices Lloyd wearing new gi.

"Thanks." Lloyd says.

"I'm gonna go take look around my room Lloyd. Give a holler if you need me." Alexis says.

"You too." Lloyd says as Alexis goes back inside her room and shuts the balcony door.

"Attention all fighters! Hidden around my island there are enough Jadeblades for everybody except for one. The one who returns to the palace arena empty handed loses. The tournament begins now!" Chen says over an loud speaker for everyone to hear. Alexis then looks out her window and notices something in the stream below before realizing it is a Jadeblade and goes after it.

*Timeskip*

"Wait we got a couple!" Cole shouts as he and Alexis go running into the room where the others are waiting as Chen is collecting blades.

"Cole! Alexis! You made it!" Jay shouts happily while Alexis and Cole receive dirty looks from others.

"Where's Kai?" Cole asks as Alexis sees Kai isn't in the room.

"He's not back yet?" Alexis asks as Lloyd goes over to her.

"Kai can handle himself. He'll be fine.. I hope." Lloyd says as Alexis nods before hissing as she grabs her arm.

"You're bleeding. What happened?" Cole asks as Alexis looks at him.

"I got into a fight with one of the other masters for the blade and I cut my arm on a rock in the water. I'll be okay." Alexis says as Lloyd takes her hand off her arm to look at the wound.

"No. Let me take care of that while we wait for Kai." Lloyd says as Alexis nods.

*Timeskip*

"Karloff wins!" Karloff says as he enters the room holding a blade.

"Looks like you got a screw lose." Kai says as he unscrews Karloff's hand and takes the blade before using his fire powers to fly over to the blade holder and put the blade in.

"We have our loser!" Chen shouts as everyone looks at Karloff.

"That's not fair! He cheated!" Karloff shouts.

"I did what I had to do." Kai says bluntly.

"That is not how you win." Garmadon says as he walks towards Kai.

"Fine. I lose. Karloff never wanted to be on stinking island." Karloff says.

"Oh I'm sorry you did not enjoy your stay. I guess this worked out for the best. As you can see lose and you are out! Break any rule and you are out! Never bite the hand that feeds you master Chen delicious noodles. Now rest up! Tomorrow the tournament will recommence." Chen says as Clouse hits an gong and breaks Karloff's plaque.

*Timeskip*

"At least the chow is good." Cole says as he is eating causing Alexis to look at him before going back to eating.

"Ah! It's killing me! What's under the trap door? What happens when you lose?" Jay asks as Garmadon tries to calm him down.

"Tonight we find Zane and get off this crazy island." Kai says as Cole looks at him.

"And just how are we supposed to do that? You heard Chen. Break a rule and we're out. He's not gonna just let us roam around." Cole says.

"Then it's a good thing we're ninja. Meet me in my room at midnight." Kai says as Alexis moves her arm before hissing in pain causing Lloyd to look at her concerned.

"Your arm is still hurting pretty bad isn't it?" Lloyd asks as Alexis nods.

"Yeah. Hurts to move my arm at all really. Even with my accelerated wolf healing it's gonna hurt and be hard to move it for a day or two." Alexis says.

"Then stay in your room for the night. Your room is next to mine. I'll fill you in later. Just get some rest. If we do end up being here longer you're gonna need to be at your best." Lloyd says as Alexis looks at him.

"What? No way. Lloyd as long as you've known you ought to know better than to say such a thing. Injured or not I want to go." Alexis says stubbornly.

"Lloyd is right Alexis. If we are caught at least you'll still be in the running. Just stay in your room. Please?" Cole asks as Alexis looks at him and sighs.

"Fine." Alexis says in defeat as Mr. Pale comes over.

"You mind if I join you?" Mr. Pale asks.

"Disappear pal! This is private. I know you're still here. I can see your lunch tray." Jay says as Mr. Pale leaves.

"I've never seen you act like that before Jay." Alexis asks as Jay looks at her.

"How am I supposed to know if we can trust him? See what this island is doing to me? It's corrupting me! It has to stop. I'll see you tonight." Jay says.

Later that night as Alexis is sitting in her bed with her back turned towards the balcony she soon feels someone put their hand on her mouth and lay beside her as she tries to get them off before stopping upon seeing it is Lloyd as he moves around to lay in front of her.

"What are you doing? Are you trying to scare me?" Alexis asks as Lloyd takes his hand off her mouth.

"Sorry. I just figured you might like the company for the night." Lloyd says as he smiles.

"Oh uh yeah. Thanks." Alexis says as she moves closer Lloyd.

"How's your arm feeling?" Lloyd asks as he gently runs his hand over Alexis's injury on her arm.

"Much better. I used a healing trick my mom had taught me when I was a pup and it seemed to help. It's just where it was so deep. I should be okay in a day or two." Alexis says.

"Good. I don't like seeing you get hurt." Lloyd says as Alexis smiles.

"I know you don't. So what happened? What are we doing?" Alexis asks.

"For now we're staying but we got to follow the rules if we're gonna have any chance at finding Zane. Just get some sleep for now." Lloyd says as Alexis nods and moves her head under Lloyd's as he wraps his arm around her.
