As the group arrive at the monastery they are soon greeted by Wu, Misako, and the monks before they notice the group's sad faces.

"What is it?" Wu asks.

"Cole's gone." Alexis says sadly as Lloyd puts a hand on her shoulder.

"He fell into the darkness." Jay says.

"A-And the Realm Crystal?" Wu asks.

"We destroyed it but it didn't stop them." Lloyd says.

"What do we do now?" Misako asks.

"Luckily you have me." Garmadon says as he is standing in the gate way.

"Garmadon?" Misako asks.

"Misako. The old me would have something heartfelt and sweet. But I am no longer that man. Wu wipe that gloomy look off your face and do something with this." Garmadon says as he tosses the golden armor to Wu.

"The Armor of the Golden Master." Wu says as he catches the armor.

"If we melt it down and reforge the weapons of spinjitzu we might still have a chance." Nya says.

"Prepare the forge." Wu says.

"I guess I better get to it huh?" Kai says.

"Kai you're the Master of Fire. You can do this." Nya says as Kai looks at her.

"Nya is right Kai. Do it for Cole." Alexis says.

"Yeah. Right. How hard can it be?" Kai asks as he walks to the forge with the others following him.

*Timeskip*

"The darkness." Nya says as they hear bells after forging the weapons and see the Oni are coming.

"It's here." Lloyd says.

"I guess it's now or never." Alexis says as the group begin to get the citizens into the monastery.

*Timeskip*

"Lloyd!" Misako shouts as she is running up to the others with a child.

"Mother! You should be inside." Lloyd says worriedly.

"I'm not leaving you." Misako says as Lloyd grabs her hand.

"No matter what happens those inside need your protection. Will you do that for me?" Lloyd asks as Misako looks at the child.

"I love you. Be careful." Misako says as she hugs Lloyd and runs inside with the child before Faith comes over with a sword.

"Faith!" Jay shouts.

"What are you doing here?" Alexis asks.

"You should be resting Faith. You're not fully healed yet." Kai says.

"If the end is coming I will face it on my feet." Faith says.

"As will I." Wu says as he comes over.

"Hm. I did not expect to fight alongside you again." Garmadon says.

"Nor I you. It seems life has a few surprises left for both of us. Close the doors! Quickly!" Wu says as the monks close the doors as the ninja pull their hoods on.

"Cole.. no matter what happens here today.. to me.. I love you.." Alexis thinks as she shifts to wolf form growling while the Oni stop a few feet from the group.

"This is it guys. Pick your targets." Lloyd says.

"I'll take the big one." Garmadon says as he sees a large target.

"He's all yours." Jay says as the two groups begin battling.

"What's wrong little pup? Bite off more than you can chew?" An Oni asks as he and five others begin to corner Alexis between them and a wall before she growls angrily.

"Don't underestimate me!" Alexis shouts angrily as she attacks the group of Oni's relentlessly causing them to run from her before the groups stop seeing Cole's earth driller come out of the ground and Cole come out of it.

"Hey, guys! Couldn't wait for me, huh?" Cole asks.

"Cole!" Nya shouts.

"You're alright!" Alexis says happily as she shifts to human form and begins to cry happily before running over and kissing Cole.

"How? Where?" Lloyd asks.

"Th-Th-Th- We thought we'd lost you-y-you jerk!" Jay shouts.

"Don't ever scare me half to death like that again you idiot! I thought I thought lost you." Alexis says as Cole hugs her.

"You can't get rid of me that easily but I won't do it I got something I wanna do before I die but that can wait until we get rid of these guys. Is that my old scythe?" Cole asks as he sees Nya holding his old weapon.

"Yes. And you can have it back." Nya shouts as she tosses Cole his weapon before the two groups continue fighting.

"They just keep coming!" Jay shouts as he sees more Oni coming up the mountain.

"The weapons! They are not enough!" Zane shouts as the group is getting surrounded.

"We can't hold them much longer!" Kai shouts.

"Father! Fall back! Everyone fall back!" Lloyd shout as the group runs back inside the monastery with Garmadon and barricades the doors on the Oni.

"That's not gonna last long." Alexis says as she helps Cole seal the doors.

"Nya. I have to ask you something important." Jay says as Nya looks at him.

"What? Now?" Nya asks.

"Yes now. Nya you make me so happy everyday. When we're not together I miss you so much that it feels like part of me is missing. Will you be my Yang?" Jay asks as he gets down on one knee and gives Nya the token.

"Now you're asking?!" Cole asks.

"We seriously need to talk about your sense of timing Jay!" Kai says.

"There may not be another time. Cole you should do it before something happens too." Jay says as Alexis looks at Cole.

"What's he talking about?" Alexis asks as cole sighs nervously before getting down on one knee.

"Alexis if I would of asked you be my yang and become my wife as Mrs. Alexis Blacksmith what would you have said?" Cole asks as he reveals a yang token in his pocket as Alexis smiles.

"Are you kidding? Yes!" Alexis shouts as she hugs Cole before Nya hugs Jay while Lloyd goes over to the mural.

"Nya, Jay it's been fun guys. Alexis I'm sorry that we won't get to experience a happy family life together." Cole says as Alexis smiles at him while the door is beginning to give way.

"I don't care about that. As long as I'm with you when I take my last breath I'll be happy." Alexis says.

"It has been an honor." Zane says.

"Let's go out with a bang." Jay says.

"Yeah. Let's give them-" Kai then gets cut off by Lloyd.

"A tornado!" Lloyd shouts happily.

"Yeah! Let's give them a tornado! Uh- wait what?" Kai asks as the others look at Lloyd.

"What's the opposite of destruction? Creation! Don't you get it? Creation? The Tornado of Creation! It's the one thing that can defeat the Oni. The power of Creation! But all of us this time or it won't work." Lloyd says as everyone goes over to him.

"How do you know?" Jay asks.

"Yeah. It was a miracle it worked the first time!" Kai says.

"Okay I'm guessing. But what do we have to lose?" Lloyd says.

"He's right. We have nothing to lose." Zane says.

"What the heck. I'm in. Wanna join me beautiful?" Cole asks as he looks at Alexis before she walks over to him.

"Wouldn't miss my possible final moments with my husband." Alexis says as Cole smiles.

"I love crazy ideas. Let's do it!" Kai shouts.

"We're one now Nya. Care to join?" Jay asks as he extends his hand to Nya as she takes it.

"It has to be all of us." Lloyd says as he looks at Garmadon.

"I am not one of you." Garmadon says.

"No but you're as much a part of the history of Ninjago as the rest of us." Lloyd says as Garmadon walks off.

"Here goes nothing!" Cole shouts as the group begins making the tornado before they are later joined by Garmadon creating a light as the tornado then explodes.

"Ow. Okay definitely gonna feel that for a couple of days." Alexis says as she gets up while Cole runs over to her.

"But we're alive!" Cole shouts as he happily picks up Alexis up in a hug.

"Ah! Cole I love you but put me down. That kinda hurts at the moment." Alexis says as she winces in pain before Cole quickly puts her down.

"Oops. Sorry. I love you too." Cole says as he kisses Alexis.

"Where is Lloyd?" Zane asks before the others see Lloyd motionless on the ground under pieces of the door as Alexis runs over and begins getting the pieces off him.

"Oh no." Alexis says as the others run over and help her get the pieces of the door off Lloyd.

"Lloyd. Buddy wake up." Kai says.

"He- He's not moving!" Nya shouts.

"Someone find Wu. Where's Wu?!" Cole shouts as Wu comes over and lifts Lloyd's arm.

"You can do something right? Right?!" Jay asks as Wu gives a sad look.

"There is nothing to be done." Wu says.

"Oh Lloyd." Nya says before a flower petal floats onto Lloyd and begins gasping and coughing.

"Where am I?" Lloyd asks.

"Don't you remember?" Nya asks.

"Yeah. You had us worried there for a sec." Kai says.

"But... the First Spinjitzu Master..." Lloyd says as Alexis helps him to his feet.

"You must have hit your head pretty hard buddy." Cole says.

"Yeah. Let's get you inside huh?" Jay asks as the group goes inside.

*1 Year Later Timeskip*

"Cole I'm tired and sore. Not helpless. I can walk without assistance." Alexis says as she is walking up the stairs with Cole while holding their newborn daughter and son after just getting back from the hospital.

"I just want you to be careful." Cole says persistently.

"Are you always gonna be this worried? You've been like this since you found out I was pregnant." Alexis says.

"You knew what you were signing up for when you said yes to marrying me." Cole says as Alexis sighs.

"I know. stubborn pain in the butt." Alexis says as she smiles.

"But I'm your stubborn pain and now theirs as well." Cole says as he looks at his newborn daughter and son and smiles.

"You guys are back." Kai says as Alexis and Cole walk inside the monastery.

"So how did it go?" Nya asks as the group comes over to see Alexis holding a baby girl that looks like Cole and a baby boy that looks like her.

"Went pretty well. The doctor said we had a happy baby girl and boy." Cole says.

"I wonder if they'll have your guys powers." Jay says.

"Even if they don't I will love them either way." Cole says as the baby boy sneezes causing ice shards to go flying and vines to pop up out of the ground.

"Ah!" Kai shouts as he and Zane avoid the ice shards causing the little girl to giggle.

"Ow!" Lloyd says as a rock hits his foot.

"That answers that question. You two must be very proud." Misako says.

"I am." Alexis says as she smiles at her children.

"I am too. Since they got our elemental powers I can't wait to start training them in the ways of a ninja." Cole says excitedly causing Alexis to look at him.

"Let's hold off on that for a couple years. I'd rather them get to be kids for a least a little while." Alexis says.

"Not a problem." Cole says.

"So what are you guys gonna call them?" Pixal asks.

"I was thinking Luna for our daughter." Alexis says.

"And James for our son." Cole says as he takes the baby boy from Alexis.

"We also have something to ask you Lloyd and you as well Nya." Alexis says as Nya and Lloyd look at her curiously.

"You wanted to ask us something?" Nya asks as Alexis nods.

"We wanted to know if you two would like to be the godparents of our son and daughter." Cole says.

"Sure I don't mind." Lloyd says.

"Love to." Nya says.

"They as the two of you have will make amazing elemental masters one day." Wu says as he looks at the two smiling children.
