How to Start a Relationship with God:

— Talk to God: Start small, start by having conversations with God. It may feel a little weird but just know that He's listening to you.
— Practice Repentance: Repentance is asking God to forgive us for our sins. But after we repent, and we should do it daily, we should work in harmony with God to change our ways.
—Watch and Listen to things that Glorify Him: Everything you listen to is not "just a show" or "just a song" That show or that song could be contributing to your failure to seek God. —Spend Time with Him: Instead of giving your spare time to something else, give God that time. Any time that you have to spare, give it to God. I know it's easier said than done, trust me. But ask God to help you with this.
—Practice reading the Bible: Read God's words. This is another way God speaks to us. That is why reading the bible is crucial. It gives us insight on what God is trying to show us or tell us.

Dear God,

I want to build a real relationship with you. I pray that You will show me the things I need to work on. I pray that You will give me the strength and endurance that I need to start this journey with You. I pray that You will increase my discernment so that I will be able to differentiate between the things that are of You and that are not of You. I pray that You will make me a completely new creation in You. In Jesus name, Amen. 🙏🏾
