You laid on your couch, staring up at the ceiling.

Your home was nice.

It was lovely, in fact.

Grand.

But it was boring sometimes.

You didn't really have much to do today and the majority of your friends were busy.

'Course, you could always go out and do something yourself, but where's the fun in that?

Sure, you don't mind going out and being on your own every once in a while, but you really wanted to go somewhere with someone.

You let out a big sigh.

You weren't tired, so you couldn't just sleep the day away.

You didn't have enough patience to watch television or a movie, you felt restless.

As if someone had heard your plea, your phone began to ring.

You grabbed it sloppily, and answered the call as you pressed it to your ear.

"Hello?" you asked dully.

"Y/N?" you heard that cheeky voice that you always loved.

"Hi, Noel!" you said, smiling at the ceiling.

"Hey!" he giggled slightly, just as he normally does when he greets someone.

"What's up, Noelie?" you asked.

"Nothin' much, I uh- Are you busy?"

"Quite the opposite, really. I'm bore out of my mind!" you exclaim.

"Well, would you like to go out with me, then?" he asked.

"As in go out or go out? Because yes." you replied, unafraid of saying things on the phone.

He laughed.

"Just go out," he began. "We could go shopping and that..." he finished.

"Well, of course! I'd love to. Where are you?" you asked him.

"Funny story," he began.

"How so?" you asked, sitting up in suspicion.

"I-uh... planned on you saying yes, you could say." he said.

"You're outside, aren't you?" you asked in a monotone voice.

"Maybe..." he responded.

"Oh lord. Give me a few minutes?" you asked.

"No problem." he said, hanging up.

You quickly jumped up and got ready faster than you ever have before.

You loved getting alone time with Noel.

He was your best friend and your biggest love.

You loved Noel to the moon and back.

When you were ready, you jogged outside, but you didn't see Noel anywhere.

You pulled out your phone, ringing him.

"Noel?" you said once he answered.

"Yes?" he asked.

"Where are you?" you asked him.

"Uh... Around the corner." he replied.

"Why?" you asked.

"Cat..." he replied.

"Ay, you're such a sucker for small fluffy animals, aren't you?" you shook your head.

"Did you go left or right from my front door?" you asked.

"Right."

"Alright, stay with me." you replied, moving right down the street and looking for him.

Once you'd turned the corner, you saw him.

"I see you!" you exclaimed, walking a little faster.

He turned and looked around and then looked your direction.

His eyes met yours and he smiled, beginning to turn to walk towards you.

He hung up and when you reached each other, you pulled one another into a tight embrace.

"Love the outfit." you said as you parted.

"Thanks." he said, kissing your cheeks.

You felt a blush rise but ignored it as you both turned to walk.

"So," you breathed. "Where to now?"

Shop after shop after shop, the time went by.

Now you and Noel were in the middle of a mall, inside of a TopShop as he walked around, looking at different wacky clothing.

"Y/N," he stopped you, grabbing your arm as his wide blue eyes stared across the store.

"What? What is it?" you asked, grabbing his hand and looking in the direction that he was looking in, trying to find what he was so fixed on.

"Two inch. Cuban heeled. Chelsea boots." he said each prospect one by one.

He interlocked his fingers with yours and practically dragged you across the store, eyes ever-fixed on the shoes.

Once you reached them, he Let go of your hand and picked up the shoe, finding it was in his size.

You watched him in adoration as he squealed about like a kid.

His excitement with fashion was another thing that you loved about him.

He was crazy.

A true eccentric.

He sat on the floor, clinking the shoes on his feet together.

"Do you like them?" you asked, standing beside him as you gently grabbed a few strands of his hair, letting your fingers move through them.

He looked up, his bright blue eyes meeting yours.

"They're perfect." he said.

You smiled down at him and he looked back down, leaning against your leg as your hand continued to stroke his hair gently.

Eventually your time in the store was done and Noel left with a new pair of shoes.

Somehow his hand had slipped into your own and squeezed it tightly.

You looked up at him and he smiled at you, looking back at the side walk as you two walked along.

You passed many shops and then came across a small ice cream shop that had cute little tables outside.

It was night now, and the air was a bit chili, and they had some of those tall heaters that restaurants always have.

"Can we get ice cream?" he asked in a soft voice, his hair fluffed up.

"Well, its a bit nippy-" you began.

Noel's eyes went sad and you couldn't resist.

"Alright. We can have ice cream." you said.

"Ah! I want an ice lolly." he said, sitting at a table nearby a heater.

"Alright." you said, shoving his head lightly as you walked past him.

You ordered two ice lolly's and then brought them back to Noel, sitting across from him.

"Thank you, Y/N." he smiled up at you.

"Oh, hush up." you replied, licking the lolly.

He smirked his cute smirk at you before going to work on his iced treat.

Around half way through the treat, you began to feel cold, even with the heater on above you both.

You shivered lightly as you brought your arm around yourself.

Noel stopped and watched you, though you didn't notice.

He could see the light pink in your cheeks and nose from the cold, and he wanted to kiss it away.

You were so soft to him, so beautiful, unlike anything or anyone he had seen before.

All he could do was stare at you and blink as he watched you look around at the people around you.

You shivered again and cleared your throat.

"Are you that cold?" he asked, the softness of his own voice surprising him and you.

"Uh-" you froze as your eyes met his.

Your mouth was open for a while but you were stuck.

His eyes looked so... Beautiful?

They were like... nothing you'd ever seen.

His black hair and pale skin only made his eyes pop out more.

"No, I'm fine." you replied, looking down.

Noel pursed his lips into a tight line.

"Come on, then. Come over here." he said, pulling a chair next to his and patting the seat.

You bit your lip, looking at the seat and then back at him.

He tilted is head towards the seat. "Go on, then."

You stood up, walking over to the seat and sitting down.

Noel opened one side of his jacket and you leaned against him.

"Give me your left arm..." he said.

You held your arm up and he had you slide your arm around his back, under his sweater.

This cause your head to be right by his shoulder/neck area.

He placed his arm around you, rubbing your arm gently with his hand.

"Better?" he asked.

You looked up.

"Much."

He laid his head a top yours and you two watched the world turn together.

Long after that, you'd been walking around again looking at more shops with Noel's hand firmly grasping your own.

"Oh, can we go in here? I could get you something cool in here, I know it." he said.

He parted from your head and walked towards the front door.

You stopped and watched him.

He turned around when he noticed that you weren't following him and took a few steps back towards you.

"Y/N?" he asked.

You stared into his confused eyes.

This was the moment.

You knew it.

Felt it.

Go.

You stepped forward and grabbed the side of his face gently and pressed your lips to his.

He was in shock at first but began kissing back a second later.

When you parted you smiled at him and he smiled back.

"Come on..." he said, linking his arm into yours as he led you in the shop, looking at you with adoration in his features.

This was certainly not like any other night, and you were grateful that he'd called you this morning.

You couldn't ask for a better partner.
