"it's a relief that it didn't worsen." my doctor sighed.

"but i'm gonna recommend for you to not walk too much, and especially, don't run." he said in a stern voice.

i played with my fingers, "yes.."

eric then smacked my head.

"OW-"

"you could've just called me so i can give that stupid phone back to the owner"

"you don't run that fast."

"wha- YES I DO I'M IN THE BASEBALL TEAM"

"you have short legs, you are most likely to trip too"

"WHY IS EVERYONE SO MEAN TO ME"

sangyeon patted his shoulder, "it's okay, it's okay."

"IT'S NOT OKAY─"

"hwiyeon, does it feel better now?" sangyeon asked.

i felt butterflies in my stomach as he looked at me with worry.

i nodded. he's so caring :(

"i also recommend for you to use crutches. we can't risk to put tension on your injured foot." my doctor stated.

i nodded again, "how long will i be using them..?" i asked.

"maybe a week? after that, i'll check up on it again." he answered.

"should i contact your parents?" sangyeon asked.

i stayed quiet & looked down.

"...she's taking care of herself." eric answered for me.

sangyeon got confused. "what do you.."

"m-my parents.. aren't here." i said.

he then got what i meant and sadly nodded.

"i'll take care of you then." he flashed an eye-smile.

he turned to eric, "you can go back to the café now. i'll take hwiyeon home."

eric nodded, "but do you know where she lives though"

sangyeon just realized that & scratched his nape.

"no."

"is this where you live?" sangyeon asked as he pulled up outside of my apartment building.

"yeah.."

"wait here, i'll help you get out." he said before going out.

he grabbed my crutches from the backseat & then helped me get out.

"th-thank you." i said.

"no worries."

i kind of struggled using the crutches, since it was the first time i was using them.

"do you need help again?" sangyeon asked.

i shook my head, "no, i can get the hang of this─"

just as i said that, my crutches got stuck somewhere, making me stumble.

oh shit, my foot─

"gotcha." sangyeon caught me again, like earlier.

h-his face is too close

a blush crept up my face & my heart did things.

"let me help you." he helped me get my crutches out where it got stuck.

it's the nth time he helped me today smh

he then accompanied me to my apartment room.

he shyly walked around, making me confused. "um.. is everything fine?"

he nodded his head, "yeah, it's just that.. you know, it's kind of weird for me to be in a girl's house.."

i saw a red tint in his cheeks, making me laugh a bit.

"w-why are you laughing?"

i cleared my throat, "i'm not."

i sat down carefully on the couch & sangyeon looked like he was in a loss.

"uh.. should i make something for you? like, any food you'd like." he asked.

even though it's embarrassing, because this is my house & i'm making the guest do something, i agreed.

"anything would be just fine." i said.

he gave an 'ok' sign with his hand and made his way to the kitchen.

my phone then started vibrating faster than kevin twerking his ass.
