she then nodded and turned to me. "thank you for taking care of me."

i softly smiled at her, "it's a friend's duty."

after thanking and bidding our farewells to her doctor, we exited his clinic.

"do you want to go somewhere?" i asked. "like, somewhere to eat."

she hesitated, "n-no, i'm fine.. i've troubled you enough."

i then frowned, disapproving on what she stated. "just like what i said earlier, a friend's duty." i said.

"hangout with me like i'm your friend, not your boss." i sent her an eye-smile. "we're all family in the cafe anyways."

thinking about my words, she nodded. "okay," she flashed a bright smile.
