the next day , jake and his friend jay waited for jazmine at the school's cafeteria . the girl was a bit late for the usual lunch hours but jake still waited for her even though jay had been complaining multiple times at him .

"are you sure she's coming ? i'm hungry dude " jay blurted but jake just gave him a serious look

"oh c'mon jake .. why are you so serious ? i'm just asking dumbass " he defended himself .. jake didn't utter a word and just looked at the entrance to see if the girl had already arrived.

jay can't hold his hunger any longer and just ordered his own food already . well , who said to him that he can't order if she hasn't arrived ? he can eat if he's freaking hungry .

three minutes after jay had left jake to order his food , jazmine finally arrived which made jake stand up and waved his hand at her .. the girl waved too when she spotted him . his eyebrows meet in confusion when a male student linked his arms on the girl's arm . but then he remembered that she said that she's with her friend . maybe that's her friend that she mentioned .

jake smiled at her when she arrived at the table he reserved for them .

" hi jake ! " she greeted him with a smile " by the way , this is sunoo .. my best friend " jake looked at sunoo then offered his hand to shake it with him that sunoo took .

sunoo smiled at him cheerfully as he always does .

" hi sunoo , i'm jake "

the three of them had seated then jake offered to order the food for all of them as jay came back with a food tray on his both hands .

" dude .. accompany them for a while " he said to jay before leaving

all of them went silent when jake had left . sunoo and jazmine felt awkward being with jay because they felt the boy was hard so approach . but then jay cleared his throat to stop the awkwardness between them .

" so umm , i ordered first because i was so hungry .. i hope it's okay with you if i will eat first ? i'm really hungry " he said with a dry laugh which made sunoo laugh at him also , not at what he said but with the way he laughed . it's so funny for him

" it's okay jay , you can eat first . i'm sorry we're late . i bet jake was hungry also , i feel bad for him " jazmine said glancing at jake who's also looking at them .

" it's okay .. jake has strong tummies . he sometimes skips meals and he's totally fine " jay said that made her nod

" so , why did he invited jazmine to eat with him ? " sunoo suddenly asked which made jay look at him in confusion

jazmine elbowed him to stop him from saying embarrassing things further . and gave him a 'what are you saying ? stop embarrassing me' look

"i don't know either .. i just went here with him to have lunch and he just told me he was waiting for her . and i didn't ask him for his reasons .. I guess that's how it works ?" well he's true by that .. why would you ask your friend for his reasons when you can just conclude that he like the girl .. boy's mind are likes that sometimes

sunoo wanted to counter back when jake arrived having a tray with him . everyone in the table gave him a questionable look as to why is he just bringing only a tray when there are three of them to eat .

"the kitchen staff will bring the other foods .. i just brought your food first jaz " he offered the tray which he had brought with him to the girl .

"thanks jake"

" oh i thought i'm going to starve " sunoo mockingly said which made jay laugh and splattered his food at the table which is gross . how could girls like him when he's like this ? this is so turn off .. said in sunoo's mind

"oh sorry " jay said still holding his laughter

a minute later , they started to eat .. jake's been extra gentleman right now . he offered his own drink that he haven't touched yet to jazmine because jazmine doesn't like the drink he had bought for her . he even gave her some of his food for her to eat well , then wiped her mouth when he saw some sauce in it .. and it made sunoo to roll his eyes knowing that jake was only doing this just to gain his best friend's trust then make her fall for him that she already is . it disgusts sunoo as to why SOME boys are like this . he didn't mean to drag all boys here , lol but he really hate playboys .

they had talked for few minutes while eating and sunoo can tell how happy his best friend is . he's happy for her tho , but he still don't trust jake sim .

they bid their goodbyes after they eat and even thanked jake for treating them for lunch .

jake waved them goodbye before leaving them both at the cafeteria's entrance .

" so , he haven't said to eat with him again tomorrow ? is he having a doubt in pursuing you now ? " sunoo said to his best friend who's still smiling while looking at jake far away from her but her smile dropped after she heard what sunoo said .

" don't overthink sun , and he doesn't even mentioned courting me as far as i remembered .. we're just friends and it's okay if he won't invite me again to lunch for tomorrow or on the next days . we can always meet some other time i guess " she just said .. sunoo was glad she knows what they are but he's quite worried that this girl was assuming things in her mind. she'll just hurt herself in the future if she assume things .

"don't worry sunshine .. i know what i'm doing and you'll always be my side right ? so i know someone will stop me from doing stupid things in the future " she chuckled then proceeds to walk to their room . sunoo just followed her like her minion ..
