he coughed a little before calling out her name " jaz?" when she looked back at him , he was stoned in his spot when he saw the girl in teary eyes

" omg jaz , I'm sorry " he said and engulfed the younger in his embrace .. soon enough the girl hugs back and it made his heart pump harder

" I'm sorry if I made you cry .. " he apologized again but jazmine didn't utter any sound instead she just sniffled .. being in jake's arms made her stomach churns and thinking that the butterflies in her stomach was having an acrobatic performance inside it .

" please talk to me love .. " he softly said while caressing the girl's head .. slightly touching it that makes her feel comfortable

but she didn't say anything .. jake released from the hug and try to catch her eyes but she was avoiding it . he cupped her face to make her stop from avoiding his stares but she just looks downwards

" hey look at me .. " she was still looking downwards and he has no choice but to continue what he was planning to say " whatever you had seen earlier was a pure misunderstanding .. she just approached me all of a sudden and it'll be rude if i won't talk to her . i even don't know her " he explained

the girl looked at him deeply in his eyes with full of adoration but he can also see that she was hurt .. he caressed her cheeks softly , wiping the traces of tears the she shed earlier .

" please forgive me jaz " he apologetically said in which the girl answers with a shy smile

"did you just smiled ? so we're okay now ?" and with that , she nodded .. jake was happy of course " but why aren't you talking ? please talk to me .. or else I won't believe that we're both okay " he said slumping on the space beside her while sulking at the side with a pout

she can't help but to giggle " alright , i forgive you now " she said and jake faced her with a satisfied smile in his face ..

" are you sure ?" he asked in a teasing tone

" oh , i changed my mind .. you look like you're not believing it " she crossed her arms and turns away from him

" eyyy .. i was just teasing you " he pinched her both cheeks that made her face wide .. she removes the boy's hands on her face as she frowns in pain

" oh , sorry but you look cute~" she blushed at what he said ..

" red really suits you " he said and she hide her both cheeks with her hands in embarrassment then glared at jake .. " aw you're cuter when you're annoyed " he coos at the sight

" shut up mr . shim " she irritatedly said

" okay mrs. shim " jazmine slaps his shoulders "ouch , i didn't know you're sadistic .. but don't worry , i love it " he teasingly blurted with his eyebrows wiggling .. the girl just gave him a disgusted look

"whatever you say .. by the way good luck for tomorrow" changing the topic before it becomes nasty

he giggled .. " thanks .. will you watch ?"

" well , yes i guess ? besides my boy Ni-ki wanted to watch so why not give you a cheer .. eh ?" she said but in reality she was excited to see him in the field tomorrow

" eyy , don't be shy .. just admit you wanted to see me tomorrow scoring a goal .and by the way , who's Ni-ki ?" he intriguingly questioned her for not knowing who Ni-ki is

" he's my adorable adoptive brother .. and he loves soccer so I'll bring him tomorrow " she cheerfully answered him ' ahh i thought somebody else ' he said in his mind , sighing in relief

" hmm , he wanted to meet you also , so yeah ?" jake's eyes sparkled at the statement " so he knows me ? omg did you tell him I'm your boyfriend ?"

" you ain't my boyfriend .. what are you talking about ?" she stated and a blush not leaving her cheeks

" yet " he said and smiled sweetly at her .. she looked away in embarrassment as her heart was rapidly beating .. jake grabbed her chin to make her look at him

" hey .. don't be embarrassed .and oh look at that blush .. it looks good on you " but she just blushed harder ..

" can you stop ?! you're embarrassing me " she said in between giggles .. gosh she can't handle jake's flirtations

" okay okay .. so where's sunoo ? why did he left you ?" he asked changing the topic because he could see how red the girl is now ..

" oh sunoo said he would buy something for me to drink but he's still not here " little did they know that sunoo was at their back earlier with a peach drink on his hand silently eavesdropping at them but when he was sure that the both were okay , he decided to just leave them alone for them to talk ..and one thing , he really want to go home and lie down on his comfy mattress ..

" maybe he went home ?" jake replied unsure .. " wait I'll text him " jazmine said , opening her phone just to see a text from sunoo that he was gone home because he saw them both talking and didn't want to disturb them ..

she scoffs at what she had read " just say you wanted to lie down and binge watch some movies on netflix " she can't believe her best friend just left her

" what ? " jake said in confusion " ahh .. sunoo said he had left earlier hehe I'll end up going home alone .. that bitch " jazmine said while tapping her phone harshly as she replied something to sunoo then carelessly locked it then slid it on her pouch

" so ..since sunoo's not here anymore ,can i finally walk you home ? if that's okay with you of course " jake offered , the girl nodded and a smile appeared on her lips

" well , it's my pleasure to have you walking me home " she formally said that made jake a giggling mess .. she thoughts that she's adorable in doing that

" alright my princess , let's get you home safely " jake offered his hand in which she hesitantly took .. but jake intertwined it , making the both of them blush

they arrived at the ground floor of the apartment complex where jazmine was living .. both of them were still holding each other's hands and hesitant to bid their goodbyes .

it was a bit awkward now when jazmine realized that their hands was still intertwined with each other so she gently pulled her hand from jake before saying something

" umm , thank you for walking me home jake " the girl shyly stated with a small smile on her luscious lips that jake couldn't stop himself from staring

"a-ahh .. anything for you love " he stuttered as he stopped himself from staring at her lips

she blushed at the endearment ..

" so , will you stay for a bit or -?" she shyly offered and mentally cursed herself for asking him to stay ..

jake looked at his wrist watch only to see that it's still 3 pm and it's still a bit early to go home .. he'll just bore himself in his condo if he will go home at this hour so why not stay for a while

" I'd love to " he answered and it made both of their hearts go crazy .. he held her hand again as they entered the elevator going up to the 5th floor

as they were at the hallways , jazmine told him that she and sunoo are neighbors .. as in the unit next to them is Sunoo's ..

" shall we visit him ?" she suggested but jake shakes his head as a 'no' since the both of them were not that close and he just wanted to spend time with the girl

" alright then .. " they arrived at her unit and she entered the passcode for them to enter ..

" come in .. i can tell mom isn't here yet " she said while opening the lights as they both entered .. jake had been silent ever since they entered the elevator and she doesn't know why .

" what do you want to drink ? we have sodas , juices , milk and coffee here .. " she offered while looking at jake standing near her .. she signaled him to sit on the couch which he obediently followed

" a can of soda will do love "

he still doesn't stop with his 'love' agenda .. she rolled her eyes but still nodded .. she took two slices of caramel cake and two cans of sodas for the both of them . she made her way to the living room just to find jake looking at the frames hanging on the wall . she smiled at him

" don't look at that , I look ugly .. it's embarrassing " she said after placing the food on the coffee table then headed to where jake is

" no , you look cute actually " she blushed at what he said " and oh , is that Ni-ki ?" he pointed at the frame at the center .. their family portrait actually

" yes .. he's so cute isn't he ? " she chimed

"but not as cute as you .. " jake replied before giggling .. he faced jazmine who's blushing in pale pink .

she just rolled her eyes and left him there standing .. jake chuckled then followed her at the couch

" shall we watch something ? " she asked

" I'd rather watch you " he said in a flirty way

" whatever jake .. I'll watch even if you don't want to " she said , turning on their television and finding some interesting movies .. then ended up watching some highschool romance movie

they just seated and watched the movie in a comfortable silence while eating .. jake snakes his arms in her shoulders .. she flinched but didn't refuse either .. instead she snuggled closer to him while hugging a throw pillow in her arms .

minutes had passed and the movie was slowly coming to an end when jake decided to talk again ..

" hey love " he softly said in her ears which sends shivers to her body

"yes?"

" when will you be mine ?" he questioned still in his soft voice while caressing her hair

" hmm , i don't know ?" she honestly answered .. she's still not ready but her heart definitely belongs to him

" okay I'll wait .. I'll give you time " he said as he kissed the top of her head .. she again blushed

she fixed herself as the movie ended .. she gathered the empty cans and the plates then leaves jake and headed to the kitchen to wash it .

jake followed her and grabbed her by her waist as he hugged her lovingly . she stiffen her body in surprise .. she didn't expect the male to be this touchy .. but she just let him be for she was enjoying the moment with him and continue cleaning the sink .

she finished cleaning and jake was still hugging her from the back , his chin on her shoulder

" hey .. c-can you let go now ?" she stuttered as she was now feeling something unexplainable inside her chest as she was experiencing a rapid heartbeat but jake didn't budge

" no , let's just please stay like this for a while .. i love hugging you " jake pleaded and he felt soft for him that she just let him be

after a moment , jake released from the hug in which the girl release a sigh of relief but drop her jaw when jake turned her to hug her again .. she wouldn't deny , she also loves Jake's hugs but isn't it a bit too much ? well , they're just or still friends and she doesn't do this to sunoo even if they're really close . they just normally hugs if they wanted to comfort each other or some clingy times that she'll hug him but this one is different and she feels the chills inside her .

she slightly squirms to release from the hug and jake immediately do so .. then looked at her eyes then her lips .

" i really like you jaz " he just said before crashing his lips on her

at first she doesn't know what to do as she is inexperienced and innocent in things like this .but Jake's lips were so soft that she can't help but to take a taste of it .. she kissed back slowly following the movement of jake's lips and eventually loving it . she doesn't know how long are they kissing when jake lifted her up that ended her sitting at the kitchen table still not breaking the kiss .

as they were enjoying the moment , they heard the door opened ..

" noona ! are you there ?"
