He really needed to get a life. Well, a life besides coming to the same club every Thursday night around eight thirty. After four months of doing the same thing, even the workers there looked at him with pity. Even if he every time told himself that he won't do it, but as soon as Thursday rolled in Doyoung would find himself sitting in there and looking at the door, a drink placed in front of him. Sometimes few girls came up to him to but he didn't talk too much which made them go off pretty quickly. He couldnt take the risk of her walking in when he was talking to someone else.

Doyoung had first seen her at his birthday party in the same club. He was sitting at one of the bigger tables by the window, with his friends. She and her friends were on the table to his right. He'd done only what every single guy at the club had done, look over them. They were somehow the center of everyone's attention. But there was only one girl who caught his eye. She was wearing a black Pink Floyd t-shirt tucked loosely in her jeans. He couldn't stop glancing at her and Johnny had noticed.

"Which one?" He had whispered, leaning over to Doyoung. He'd tried to act confused about what Johnny said but his friend just gave him a knowing smile.

Even after the arrival of his huge birthday pizza, Doyoung hadnt stopped stealing glances at her. He looked at her as she smiled at her friends, he noticed that her smile was quite similar to his. She had been laughing at what one of her friends said, when Yuta called out Doyoung.

"What are you waiting for dude. Just blow the damned candle, I'm hungry." Yuta whined, which caused Doyoung to tear his gaze away from the girl.

He had smiled over to his friends and had let Jungwoo place a dumb hat on his head. His friends started singing the birthday song and most of the crowd in the club had joined. Doyoung looked to his right to see that she was also looking over at them, and for a few moments, their eyes met. Yuta whined again and Doyoung finally blew the candle. After bickering and laughing with his friends, he again looked over at her table to see that she was getting up to dance with another guy.

Doyoung tried not to let it mess up his celebration โ€“ after all, his friends had insisted on taking him out. But from that moment, all he could think of was asking her to dance so that he could talk to her. Johnny had noticed that Doyoung was thinking hard about something and asked him when Doyoung finally confessed about his thoughts of a particular girl. Johnny pushed him to ask her, but Doyoung shook his head.

Johnny snickered. "You're just scared."

Doyoung had protested, of course, to save his pride but his nervous face gave everything away. He finally ended up promising Johnny that hed ask her at exactly at nine thirty, giving himself ten minutes to gather his courage. But at nine twenty-six when he glanced at the table, she and her friends had already gotten up from their seats to leave. Doyoung immediately stood up, as if he was going to go after her, but his feet refused to move. His friends looked at him strangely, and he sat back down. He looked at Johnny who just clicked his tongue and shook his head.

After that, the rest of the night went okay. He'd accepted the fact that he'd lost his chance due to his own stupidity, but it was not like she was the only woman in the whole world. So why couldnt he stop thinking about her? Why was he still seeing her in his mind even after four damned months? Why was he still waiting for her on every Thursday night around nine? She really has got me good.

As he walked to his car, alone, he knew he couldnt do this anymore. He was making himself crazy and pathetic. Doyoung dialed Johnny's number as he sat inside his car. Johnny picked up after three rings.

"Hey, lover boy." Doyoung could hear Johnny's smile in his greeting.

"Shut up." Doyoung said monotonously and Johnny laughed. "Lets make a plan for next Thursday, anything."

"Why? You're done waiting?" Johnny's voice grew serious.

"Yeah."

"Smart. Okay, well do something. How about pool at Regular?" Johnny suggested. "Or even better, we can head up to Han river with the guys."

"For how long have you been planning this?" Doyoung laughed at the flood of options.

"I dont know, two minutes maybe?" They laughed together.

"Great." Doyoung said and looked up as someone walked past his window. The realization of who the person was, made him freeze. "Oh God."

"What?"

"Its her." The words barely left his mouth.

"No way."

Doyoung leaned forward in his seat as she stepped in front of his car. She turned around, waiting for someone who was following her and as another girl with pink candy floss hair joined her, the headed towards the club together. "I gotta go." He said and cut the call without even waiting for the answer. Doyoung sat and watched as they went inside the club, then rubbed his sweaty palms oh his jeans. He swallowed hard and opened the car door. Just a minute later, he was back inside the club and standing in the doorway. He looked around, unable to find her. Where did she go?

A light tap on his shoulder and a soft "Excuse me, can I get through?" made Doyoung turn. It was her. Their eyes met and she studied him. "Hey, birthday boy." She said with a smile.

Doyoung felt as if his heart was going to burst out, through his chest and clothes. She remembered him. He smiled back shakily at her. "Hey."

Her eyes sparkled as she looked up at him. "I know you dont remember but I-"

"I remember." He quickly cut her off. "Pink Floyd shirt."

Her brows lifted in surprise. "I'mย  impressed."

"If only you knew" He muttered under his breath.

"Sorry, what?" She frowned curiously.

"Never mind. Its nothing." Someone tried to go past him, so he sidestepped. "I'm Doyoung."

"Joy." She said with a smile.

"You still want through?" He motioned with his hand and smiled to cover his disappointment at the possibility of her walking away.

"Nah", Joy shook her head. "Wanna dance?"

A thought passed through Doyoung's brain, wondering if it was too soon to confess. He shook his head and smiled widely at Joy. "You better believe it when I tell you."
