Dream woke up to the smell of bread being baked.

He headed to the Kitchen. HD is taking a bread out of the furnace and placing it on the wooden table. Its aroma filling the room. No, filling the whole house.

"Hey Dream!" HD says, turning around and walking to Dream. He lwans down and kisses Dream lightly on the cheek.

"Hey. How did you know that it was me?" Dream asked.

"Intuition. Anyway I'll cut you some bread,its nice and warm. We also have fresh honey and berries to go with it."

"Sounds amazing. XD and George not up yet?"

"No. But they'll be up soon."

The four of them have been living together for about a week now. Everything has been going well. At least Dream thinks it has.

The kiss on the cheek was a usual thing for HD to give Dream in the morning. Dream hoped it means something. He also hopes that it would be more than a kiss on the cheek.
Maybe on the lips?

"Here's your plate." HD said, snapping Dream out of his thoughts.

"Thank. Thank you." Dream said going to sit down on the table and dishing out his food onto the plate HD handed to him.

Just then XD and George entered the kitchen.

"Morning." They both say at the same time.

This caused a small laugh from HD. An amazing laugh.

They all sat down and ate the bread and honey with berries. Well the Dream and George dis. XD and HD just sat next to them, watching them eat.

"So..." Dream began. "What shall we do today?"

"Not sure." HD responded with.

"We could go to the lake." XD said.

"That sounds like a good plan."

They all cleaned up their plates and got ready to leave for the lake.

"You all ready? " Dream said, heading towards the door.

"Yep!" George said.

"I'm ready." XD responded with.

"Same here." HD spoke after the others.

They all headed out the door and to the lake.

After a long walk of them talking about random things to help them get to know each other.

What's your favorite colour?

°XD- White
°Dream- Green
°HD- Yellow
°George- Blue

HD and George's answers made them all giggle a bit. Turns out HD is also colourblind like George. And yellow and blue are the most visible colours they can both see. (Protanopia/red-green colourblind).

What's your favourite flower?

°XD- Poppies.
°Dream- Roses.
°HD- Marigolds.
°George- Calendulas.

"Marigolds and calendula are both part of the asteraceae flower family. Isn't that funny?" HD said as an off comment.
He got a few nods and laughs in agreement as a response.

Throughout the rest of the journey they asked each other more and more questions, getting to know each other better and better every time.
Turns out both George and HD are both left-handed.

'What are the chances?' They all thought to themselves.

They soon arrived to the lake.

It wasn't a large lake but it definitely wasn't a small one either. In fact you could say it was almost the perfect size for a lake.

They made their way closer to the lake and all of them sat down on the grass.

"So, what now?" Dream asked.

"We could go fishing." HD said.

"How? We didn't bring any fishing rods."

Suddenly, there was a small flash of light, causing Dream to close his eyes in panic and fear of being blinded.

When he re-opened his eyes he saw HD holding four fishing rods. Two in each hand.

HD handed everyone a fishing rod and kept one for himself.

"How did you?" Dream questioned, barely getting the words out of his mouth.

"God's remember? We can create anything. Well I can. XD is limited to only blocks."

"Yeah. HD here can even create living things. Like animals and villagers and sometimes even evil mobs. They're kinda like his children. Not all but some." XD added.

With this comment HD's cheeks became a cherry red with embarrassment.

"Geez. Don't phrase it like that, you're making it sound weird." HD said, a bit of annoyance in his voice as he spoke to XD.

After a moment they all got up and went closer to the lake. They drew their fishing rods back, swung them forward and started fishing.

HD caught a few fish a couple minutes later, so did XD.

Maybe it was gods luck?

Because neither George nor Dream had caught anything yet.

After about another ten minutes Dream let out a loud annoyed groan.

"I'm bored now." He said.

"It's only been like fifteen minutes in total." George said, giggling a bit.

"I know. That's far to long. Especially considering that me and you haven't caught anything. "

Dream drew back his fishing rod and put it down, the others following in suit.

They all then went back to the grass and ate a lunch of steak and baked potatoes.

After their food settled they all layed down, facing the sky.

Apparently cloud gazing was a must do according to HD and George. So that's what they did.

Pointing out heart shapes, stars shapes. Some that look like fish or horses or cats or wolves.
Dream even swore he saw one that looked like him, but no one else saw it so obviously it didn't and he was just seeing things.

After a while of them just chatting and clod gazing and playing other games, the sun started setting.

A beautiful sunset with an ombre from blue to yellow. With mixes of purple, pink and orange. The sun fadeing behind the horizon as the blue and purple took over the sky.

"Come on, let's go. I don't really want to have to fight off evil mobs for you two." XD said, pointing to Dream and George. "Especially since you guys have no armour."

"Yeah let's go. I also don't want to have to fight them off. " HD said.

They all started heading back, a friendly conversation going strong between the four of them.

They reach their house and all started saying their good nights.

George kissed both Dream and XD on the cheek. They both returned the cheek kiss.
Dream then kissed HD on the cheek.
HD and XD hugged. It wasn't awkward, surprisingly.
Dream and XD just nodded at each other, silently.

Then, they all headed to their own rooms.

Dream and George both fell asleep instantly.

But for XD and HD it wasn't the same. They both stayed up wondering, questioning.

George and HD were both so similar, unlike Dream and XD who were both so different.

Did that mean something?

The question stuck in the two gods minds.
