I am sitting here at the playground for about 3 hours. It's not in my neighbourhood, it was far from my place and that is why I choose to be here.

The atmosphere is warmy although it's kinda cold. I remember this place since I went here few times during  elementary school with him. He likes to play. He is so playful and cute. When we walk together before, people  always thought that I am his noona because he looks so babyish.

"Why are you here?"

I look up and see him.

He is the person that I want to see now.

I want him to comfort me.

And I was so relieved that he comes even I know.. he will ditch me over and over again.

I want him to stay longer so I decide to keep my mouth shut.

"Do you know Yejoo is crying and searching for you?"

"....."

"Your parents are looking for you too. Your dad had to delay his meeting because  of you."

"....."

"You aren't gonna answering me?"

"...."

Seonghwan kneels and pecks Seolmin's lips.

"What are you doing?"

"Answer me," Seonghwan looks at Seolmin straight in her eyes.

"Leave." Seolmin looks away.

Seonghwan goes silent for few seconds before sitting beside Seolmin.

"Do you still remember the time when I ran away from home because my mom scolded me?"

Seolmin stays quiet but has all her attention on Seonghwan.

"I ran away because she wants me to continue my vocal class when I hates singing,"

"But, it turned out that I have a talent in singing. I even got awards in competitions. That's where I know that our parents are the ones who know our potential the most and they think and care a lot about their childrens. But, we childrens think they are over possesive toward us."

"Do you get it, miss?" Seonghwan smiles.

Seolmin remains silent.

"Do you hate me?" She asks.

"What do you want my answer to be?" He replies.

"I know it.."

"Know what?"

"That my mom is the one who told you to avoid me."

Seonghwan's eyes widen.

Seolmin looked at a pair of shoes in front of her house. She knew it. It was Seonghwan's. Seolmin want to open the door but stopped as she heard voices.

"Seonghwan-ah, I want you to do a favour to me."

"What is it, aunty?"

"I want you to stay away from my Seolmin."

"What.. are you... saying, aunty? Why should I do that?"

"As you can see, Seolmin has to go to Ivy University. So, she has to graduate well for her middle school to go to good high school. I don't want she lose her focus and interest on her study. When she is with you, I can see she lost her interest on everything and only focusing  on you."

"What do you mean by that?"

"She likes you. I don't want her to lose her future just because of love. Stay away from her."

"I can't do that! I promise to stay by her side. I'm sorry aunty, I have to go."

"I heard your brother is applying as manager in a big company, right? Do you want me to fail him?"

"I heard everything that day."

"............"

"I'm sorry that I pretend to not knowing anything and blame you for ignoring me. I just... I don't want you to hate me...."

Seolmin's tears fell. Seonghwan's hands tremble but he pulls Seolmin and hugs her. He pats Seolmin's head.

"Shuuhh.. don't cry anymore. We'll be fine now.."

(Tomorrow)

"Wake up and go cook something. I'm hungry," Junhee throws her cap and sits beside Seolmin who is still lying down on Junhee's bed.

Seolmin sleeps at her home yesterday's night and Seonghwan told her everything happened.

"Why is your neighbour keeps hitting the wall? So noisy..." Seolmin covers her ears.

"He is crazy, I will sue him don't worry."

Suddenly, there are knocks on the door. Junhee gets it and it was Seonghwan.

"I don't want to go." Seolmin wants to go away from there but Seonghwan pulls her hand.

"Let's just go in. They are worried."

Seonghwan forces Seolmin to come in her house. There sit her dad, mom and Yejoo. Seolmin sits beside Seonghwan.

"Seonghwan told us everything." Said Mr Kim.

"Seolmin, I'm sorry that I pretend like I am your dad when I'm actually not. I'm sorry, Seolmin. You can call me uncle if that's what you want."

Tears brim on Seolmin's eyes as she goes to hug her dad.

"No, dad. You are my dad. My father left me and you are the one who stay and care about me. Thank you so much for treating me like your own daughter. I'm sorry for saying mean things yesterday. I didn't mean to--"

"Forget it, daughter. You and Yejoo are both my childs."

"Seolmin, I'm sorry for treating you differently. I don't mean to do that. I'm sorry for not being concern to you and your dreams. I'm  sorry that I am your mother."

Seolmin hugs her mother. Yejoo joins them as she also tearing up.

"What is this crying scene~"

Seonghwan smiles.

Seolmin's mom loose the hug and looks at Seonghwan.

"Seonghwan, I'm sorry too. Forgive me, please stay beside Seolmin. She needs you."

Seolmin smiles warmly to Seonghwan. Seonghwan nods,

"That's right, aunty. But I think I am the one who needs her the most by my side."

(A week after)

"Seol," Seonghwan appears from behind as he backhugging her.

Seolmin giggles, "Why, you hamster?"

"You call me hamster? How dare you?" Seonghwan pinches her cheek.

"Yah, Choi Seonghwan! Don't be lovey dovet there and help us here!" Sungho yells. Seonghwan messes Seolmin's hair before he go.

Seolmin then goes to her class.

"Still remember the couple cards we bought before?" Jayeon asks.

Junhee and Seolmin nod.

"You guys still have it?"

"I threw it away," answers Junhee.

"I still have it."

"I thought you gave it to Seonghwan sunbae already." Jayeon said.

"I totally forgot about that card." Seolmin laughs.

"It's okay, give it to the person you love the most."

"Love... the most?"

Mrs Shin sits on her seat as she looks at a bunch of files on her table. She is so tired today. She takes her handbag to get her vitamin but touched something odd instead.

She takes it out.

"Hello, my beautiful mom, Mrs Shin Yoonji.
This is your cutie daughter, Kim Seolmin.
Thank you, mom for having me as your daughter. Thanks to you I now can understand things better. I also learn how to accept hard things and learn how to enjoy them. You make me realise I am one of the most luckiest girl in this world.
And that is because I have you, dad and Yejoo.
Thank you, mom.
I love you so much.
